jisung and i ended up going back to where we last saw hyunjin and riri, someone told us that the teams are going to play a game so we decided to go back.

in the distance, we saw hyunjin and riri hugging. i quickly ran to them, they both pulled away.

"hey, i love hugs! can i join?" riri smiled and nodded while hyunjin chuckled, opening his arms.

"can i too?" jisung ran after me, also opening his arms but i playfully rolled my eyes at him.

"no!" riri and hyunjin silently chuckled when jisung pouted.

"tch, come here!" i gave in, jisung jumped a little before joining the small group hug session.

the hug awkwardly ended when jisung said that it will be better if chan was there. i mean, yeah it will be a lot better but i think today is not the right day.

the four of us came back to our building where students gathered. i somehow caught that we will be having the game right now.

the game was called as 'finding the roses', a game for valentine's. the mechanics is you will assign a queen for each group that is needed to be protected and should not be hit by the enemy team's water balloon. you also need to find the roses which is in total of 9. once you find them all without your queen getting hit by a water balloon, the game is yours. however, if you or the other team succeeded on hitting the queen with your water balloons, even without the roses, that will be an instant win.

so our team, called as 'chan's team's decided that i will be the queen and riri will be the decoy. the original plan was hyuniin and changbin is going to protect riri but chan insisted that he should be the one protecting her. changbin gave up his position for chan and in result, chan and hyunjin will protect riri. as the decoy and the distraction, guarding a girl with two men will be a good strategy.

very effective.

as for me, i am stucked with han jisung and we are currently on the search for the roses as i continued to ignore him. oh my life, jisung won't shut up about how he was going to protect me with all his life.

romantic but cliché.

"aish, jisung, shut up." i rolled my eyes at him, holding the two roses we managed to find on the way. however, he didn't stopped and continued on saying nonsense.

"bloody hell, han jisung. i swear, if you don't stop--!" i turned and was about to lecture jisung about how he was being loud but i ended up staring at him with my mouth agape.

his knee was kneeling on the floor as he held out a hand with a single red rose to me. his smile was blinding, lighting up our surroundings. his eyes forming crescents as he smiled wider.

"a rose for my queen!"
