Wedding Day- Hawaii
Christine was on the edge, more than she cared to admit but marrying John again was like de ja vu and it scared her. She just wanted to marry the man she loves, even though some have told her that it was a bad idea to marry John again, saying that she was risking her heart and happiness as she reassured them that nothing was going to happen.
"Mum, are you ready?" Henry asked her.
"Do you think I'm making a mistake and be honest with me?" She asked.
"You deserve all the happiness in the world and if you're happy with dad, then what can I do?" Henry asked her.
"Am I risking getting my heart broke again, maybe but I love your father and he loves me." Christine said.
"Dad loves you more thank anything else in this whole world." Henry said.
"I love him too." Christine said.
Then, that's all that matters." Olivia said as she stood by Christine's side.
"Are we ready to go?" Emily asked.
"Yes, now let's go." Christine said.
John was standing at the altar, Mick as his best man and Lindsey as one of his groomsmen along with Mike and Neil.
Jenny was Christine's matron of honor and Stevie was one of Christine's bridesmaids along with Olivia and Emily.
Little Molly was carried by Jenny as she helped her throw flowers while Henry walked his mum down the aisle as the girls took their place as John seen Christine all dolled up as he started crying as they stopped in front of the preacher officiating their wedding.
"Who gives this woman to be with this man?" The preacher asked.
"Her son and daughters do." Henry said as he kissed his mother's cheek and took his place behind Mick.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here again today in holy matrimony of John Graham McVie and Christine Anne Perfect-McVie." The preacher said as someone hollered out.
"John, don't screw it up this time." Someone on the groom's side said.
"Ignore them mate." Mick said.
"I am." John said.
"John, repeat after me. I, John." The preacher said.
"I John." John said.
"Take you Christine." The preacher said.
"Take you Christine." John said.
"To be my lawfully wedded wife." The preacher said.
"To be my lawfully wedded wife." John said.
"To have and to hold, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, for sickness and health from this day forward until do us part." The preacher said.
"To have and to hold, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, for sickness and health from this day forward until death do us part." John said.
"Christine, repeat after me. I, Christine, take you John to be my lawfully wedded husband." The preacher said.
"I, Christine, take you John to be my lawfully wedded husband." Christine said.
"To have and to hold, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, for sickness and health from this day forward until do us part." The preacher said.
"To have and to hold, for better or worse, for richer or poorer, for sickness and health from this day forward until do us part." Christine said.
"Now, before we have John and Christine sat their vows they wrote for each other. Does anyone have any objection as of why these two should not get married." The preacher said as no one said anything.
"John, you may now read your vows you wrote for Christine." The preacher said.
"Christine, almost fifty years ago you captured my heart by being exactly who are right at this very moment. The sweetest, most loving, compassionate and sensitive person I have ever known. You have been my best friend through the good and the bad. You're the reason why I smile and I believe have given me comfort beyond measure when I have cried. You have believed me when no one else would and you have shown me how to love with passion, purity and unconditional acceptance. I'm not sure a lifetime is long enough to return all you have given me, but I promise the rest of my days, I will stand by your side. To laugh with you, believe in you and most of all, support you. In poverty, I promise to do everything to make our love grow rich, and in wealth to never let our love grow poor. Together, we are better than we were when we were alone, and today I give you my love, my trust, and my fidelity forever. You will always be the best part of my day. I love you Christine, forever and always." John said the rest of his promising vow to Christine as she was in tears as he held her hands.
"John has bestowed his vow up onto Christine as his promise will be sealed. Christine, it is now your turn to deliver your vow unto John, now repeat after me." The preacher said as Christine smiled at John.
"Christine, is there anything else you would like to vow to John?" The preacher asked her.
"Yes." He said
"Proceed." The preacher said as Christine joined her hands with John's.
"Darling, I just want to say that you are my best friend, the love of my life and I am unconditionally and irrevocably in love with you. You are my lover and my soul mate that I was always meant to be with forever and always. The love we possess is genuine and true.. God united us with the intent that we belong together. Fifty something years, I could not have fallen in love with a man more compassionate and loving as you. I feel like everything in my life has led me to you. You will always be the best part of my day forever and always. I love you John, always have and always will." Christine said to John as the preacher smiled and so did John.
"Christine has bestowed her vow up onto John as her promise will be sealed." The preacher said as Christine smiled at John again.
"The vows have both been said between these two, so let's get on with the ring exchange." The preacher said as John and Christine smiled at each other as they were just ready to be married again.
"It is now time for the ring exchange. Do you John Graham McVie, take thee, Christine Anne Perfect-McVie, to have and to hold from this day forward, until you shall perish and have everlasting in front of God and all the witnesses before you today?" The preacher asked.
"I Do." John said
"And do you, Christine Anne Perfect-McVie, take thee, John Graham McVie, to have and to hold from this day forward, until you shall perish and have everlasting life in front of God and all the witnesses before you today?" The preacher asked as Christine smiled.
"I Do." Christine said
"John, repeat after me, with this ring, I be wed." The preacher said as Mick handed him her wedding band as she smiled.
"With this ring, I be wed." John said as he slipped it on her finger.
"Christine, repeat after me, with this ring, I be wed." The preacher said as Jenny handed her John's wedding ring.
"With this ring, I be wed." Christine repeated after him as she slipped it on his finger as John smiled at her.
"With your vows bestowed upon each other, these two have taken their vows before God and us, they have exchanged rings as it resembles the promise to God to always love one another as they sealed their sacred promises to each other." The preacher said as Christine felt her world as she knew was back together.
John and Christine, you have sealed your sacred promises to one another, said your vows, sealed your love through the speeches with promises of rings, it is now time to end with a message to carry you throughout your marriage." Their preacher said as John and Christine looked at each other.
"John and Christine, you have said your finals ceremonial vows to one another, put rings on each others finger, sealed your love in a vase, spoke fulfilling promises to one another." The preacher said as John and Christine anticipated what was going to come next.
"By the power vested in me and the island of Hawaii, in front of myself, your family, friends and God, I now pronounce you man and wife. John, you may now kiss your bride." The preacher said as John gently pulled Christine to him, against his chest and kissed her passionately as their friends and family cheered, whooped with excitement and applauded.
"Wow! That felt great." Christine said giggling as John agreed.
"I agree baby." John said
"I love you baby." Christine said as John smiled like a king as Christine felt like a queen.
"I love you too baby." John said as they walked to the edge of the platform as he kissed her again.
"When you leave here today, remember you two are equal as one, that means anything you do, whether it's at home or out somewhere, you do it together. You are to walk together, love each other, hold hands like there is no tomorrow, guide each other through weaknesses and strengths, protect each other, talk to each about day to day life, but most important, be each others backbone for when an obstacle gets too tough or weary." The preacher said as Christine loved the speech as John smiled, knowing that she was happy.
"Now for the final moment you have all been waiting for. Ladies and Gentlemen, family and friends, it is my pleasure to present, for the first time anywhere, Mr. and Mrs. John McVie!" The preacher exclaimed as their family and friends cheered as they kissed.
"We're finally married... Again." Christine whispered in his ear as John kissed her.
"I love you baby." John whispered back.
"I love you more darling." Christine said as she and John stepped off the platform to go refresh before the reception.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, family and friends, it is my pleasure to present, for the first time anywhere, Mr. And Mrs. John McVie." The preacher announced as their family and friends cheered and applauded were happy to see them finally have their happily ever after.
"All the guests may make your way to the beach house for the reception." The preacher announced as John and Christine went to refresh for their reception.
They went into their private room as John started peppering her neck in kisses.
"Someone's eager?" Christine questioned him as he smiled as she was looking in the mirror, seeing what needed touching up.
"You have no idea how much I want you right now." John said as his hands massaged up and down her body.
"I want you too baby, but we have to get to the beach house before everyone starts worrying where the bride and groom are at." Christine said as she touched up and turned to see him.
"We have all night, with no disturbances." Christine whispered in his ear as her hands slid up and down his backside.
"Thank goodness." John said as he kissed her slowly and easily, no rushing.
"Well, Mr. McVie, shall we?" Christine asked him smiling as she pressed another sweet kiss to his lips.
"Yes, most definitely, Mrs. McVie." John said as they smiled.
They walked out of the room as they made their way down to their luxurious beach house as she felt her world falling into place. She was at peace and she felt at her best, because John made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the room.
Christine did not want a fancy intro when they walked in as everyone cheered a clapped for them. She was just happy to be married and be surrounded by their family and their friends.
"Would the bride and groom please go to the middle of the dance floor?" The speaker asked as John held onto Christine's hand.
They danced as John held onto her, feeling like this was a dream.
"I love you Christine." John said.
"I love you too John." Christine said.
"I'm sorry for not being a better husband the first time." He said.
"We were both at fault. It wasn't just your fault, it was both of us and I wish I would have been a better wife but we did have some great years together and we'll make new memories." Christine said.
"I don't deserve you." He said.
"I don't deserve you either but we still love each other and our kids are happy, so how can I complain?" Christine questioned.
John kissed her until the next song came on and everyone got up and started dancing.
Their kids came over to them and they all danced together, just enjoying the fun they were having as a family again.
They had their meals and it was time for the speeches.
"At this time, we ask the groom and bridal party to make their speeches. Starting with the best man." Henry announced.
Mick stood up and started getting nervous.
"Hi everyone, I'm John's best man and best friend, Mick." Mick said as John and Christine smiled.
"I want to thank John and Christine both for asking me to be part of their big day. It really means a lot to me." Mick said.
"Thanks to my fellow wedding party members for all your work in making today special. You all look lovely and it's been fun, an adventure and most of all, unforgettable journey hanging out with all of you." Mick said as they all smiled.
"John and I have been friends for fifty something years, that's a long time to know someone. We've had a lot of good times together—we've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly, and lived to tell the tales. Of which there are many, but his and Christine's story is one of my favorites, because he told me she was the reason why there was hope and love in the world." Mick said as Christine smiled at John.
"You really told him that?" Christine asked him.
"Yes, because it's true baby." John said as he kissed her.
"But that's when I knew what an awesome, caring, funny, most excellent person John is. And it makes me so beyond happy that he has found someone who sees and appreciates that. He's the best person and friend someone could ever have. Christine, thank you for loving him like we all do." Mick said as he hugged her as she hugged him back.
"I do love him and you're welcome." Christine told everyone.
"Christine, you are marrying the best friend a person could ask for. You really bring out the best in him and I know he truly cares for you as well." Mick continues.
"You're right about him being the best person a woman like could ask for. I love you darling." Christine said as John pressed another kiss to her lips.
"I love you too baby." John said as Christine smiled.
"And now to honor these two love birds, raise your glass to John and Christine, I am so excited for the both of you, and I know you're going to be a great team. I wish you nothing but love, peace, happiness and inevitable joy for many years to come. We love you! Congratulations!" Mick toasted to them as they both hugged him.
"It truly means the world to us to have such a kind, spirited, witty man like you in our lives." Christine said as they all smiled.
"Now, it's the matron of honor's turn to deliver her speech." Henry said as Jenny stood up and started her speech.
"Once in a while, in the middle of an otherwise ordinary life, love bestows on us a fairy-tale, a romance that is true and pure. I have never seen another couple in love as these two people here who have been married today and I am so honored to know and love them." Jenny said as Christine admired the poetic side of her as she always did.
"Whether you are a firm believer of destiny or think that happy things can just happen by accident and mere chance, there is no denying that these two amazing people are perfect for each other. Either way, these two have happened each other. It is a once in a lifetime love, and we are all so lucky to be able to be along for the ride." Jenny continued as John and Christine held onto each other as he kissed her lips.
"When I look at the bride and groom, I know that what they have will stand the test of time. Their love was made to weather the toughest of storms and their trials and tribulations will only further prove their love and devotion to one another. May the love that you have for each other continue to grow each and every year." Jenny felt the love radiating off of John and Christine as they kept their eyes on each other or glancing at each other.
"With this beautiful bride and her handsome groom, I see this kind of love. For all the time that they have spent getting to know each other, they still continue to fall in love as if they are still in the honeymoon stages. To never get tired of one's smile, the little gestures of thoughtfulness that they show that they still care, even after all this time. That is real love. So I end my speech by raising my glass to the bride and groom. Let us continue to witness and celebrate the remarkable love that this remarkable, beautiful couple shares." Jenny said as the cake was set on the table far from where they were sitting.
"Congratulations to you both and to the beautiful future that lays ahead of you. Raise your glass to toast Mr. and Mrs. McVie!" Jenny ended her compassionate and poetic speech as everyone raised their glass.
"To Mr. and Mrs. McVie." Everyone said in unison.
"Alright, the cake is here. Will the bride and groom make their way over to the table." Henry said as they rose from their seats as John held her hand as they made their way over to the cake table and admired the way it looked as Christine fell in love with it.
"Christine, the cake is beautiful." Stevie said
"Thank you! I just hope it tastes the same." Christine said
"I believe it will." Stevie said.
John helped Christine cut a piece for them both as they fed each other a piece.
Their family watched at how they admired each other as they applauded them.
The cutting of the cake was over and done as they celebrated with more music and dancing as John and Christine were ready to leave and start their honeymoon.
"Now, it's time for the bride to throw her bouquet and then, it's time to leave for their honeymoon, so all the single ladies, please make your way over here as you follow mum over here." Henry said as Christine and all the single ladies made their way over to where the dance floor was.
Christine threw it backwards and a friend of her's and John caught it.
"Alright, it's now time for mum and dad to start their journey as husband and wife as they leave for their honeymoon." Henry said as everyone got their rice ready to throw as they walk down to leave.
They walk down the steps as their family and friends threw rice at them as they said their 'I love you's', goodbyes and see you later.
They left the luxurious beach house as Christine changes into her comfy clothes as John admires her through the rearview mirror.
She climbs back in the front and leans up against him as her head laid on his shoulder, but after they get situated, she sat back in her seat and buckled as John started the car and they left.
They got to the dock where their boat was as John drive it to where they were nowhere around people.
They decided to have a picnic as it felt nice to just be here with no one else around them.
"I love you darling." Christine said.
"I love you too baby." John said.
"It's really nice out here tonight." Christine said as John loved the way she admired the beauty of the moon shining down on them.
"So, I wonder what the girls packed?" John questioned as he sat down beside of her.
"Leftover finger foods and from the wedding." Christine said as she ate a couple pieces of fruit.
"Let's go sit out on the deck." John said.
"Okay." Christine said as John carried the picnic basket outside to the deck.
"Want some wine darling?" John asked.
"Yes." Christine said as John poured her a glass and handed it to her.
"How are you feeling sweetheart?" John asked.
"Happy and bit tired but that's what happens when you work and just got done planning a wedding, then getting married, it takes a lot out of you." Christine said.
"Well, let go to bed then and enjoy our honeymoon." John said he pressed a kiss to her lips.
"Okay darling, lead the way." Christine said as he did.
They went into their bedroom as they brushed their teeth and freshened up.
She straddled his lap as he unbuttoned her dress to get more access to her neck and cleavage as his finger skimmed down to her panties as he massaged her opening and she explicited low, soft throaty moans as his fingers worked their way into her center making her tilt her head back, feeling pleasure as she unbuttoned his pants.
"John, please." Christine moaned.
"Tell me what you want darling." John said as she was ready for him.
"I need you baby." Christine said as his fingers were replaced by his hardened, voluptuous manhood as Christine kissed him passionately as John thrusted in and out of her.
"Oh baby, you feel so good." John moaned as he took her right nipple into his mouth, making a irresistible, enticing sensation flow through her body.
"So do you baby." Christine said.
After their round of intimacy, they decided to stay the night wrapped in each other's arms and blankets as they were talking.
"We needed this, even though it's our honeymoon but it's also a vacation too." Christine said.
"I could not agree more." John said
"Let's get some sleep baby, we haven't been able to in a long time." Christine said as John held her.
"Good night baby." John said as he kissed her.
"Good night darling and shall I say, Mr. McVie." Jude said
"Good night Mrs. McVie, I love you." John said as they kissed.
"I love you too baby." Christine said as she laid her head down on his shoulder and fell asleep.
He drifted off to sleep with her as they felt each holding on. They were happy being with each other and that all that mattered to them.
