Some people find love when they aren't looking. Some people find friends when they aren't looking. This is an interpretation of both of these... Patrick didn't know what he was looking for, but when he saw him stand before him, he then realized exactly what he was looking for. Pete had done the same thing. Brendon however, doesn't know what he had in the first place has been his all along.... Ryan knew exactly what he wanted and he knew exactly how to make it happen.
