Lightning sat at the edge of a cliff, just staring at the sky ahead of her.

  Sky walked through the apartment door shared by her, and her navy blue crush. "Lightning! I'm...home?" She said confused. She looked around. 'Lighyning normally would call and tell me before she left...' She thought, and then she noticed, and note on the table.

  Dear Sky,

   You most likely are reading this, and it may be to late. I'm so sorry, but I couldn't bare it.

  Lightning looked down, letting tears slip down.

  There is no play for me in this world. I have no purpose. I'm just like a tiny star, stuck. Just stuck in the same spot. You may not see, but I'm shattered. I'm broken, and no one can fix it..

Sky's facial expression slowly became worried and scared.

  I just wanted to write this before I go, that way maybe you'll be a bit worried about me. I hope you live on with a happy life. I bet you will without me.

   Lightning stood up, looking down at the seemingly bottomless drop.

Why am I even telling you this?! You don't care! You hate me and my constant stupid pitiful mouth, and my ugly looks.

  Sky read the rest, and gasped dropping the note, and darting out the door, tears streaming down.

  Sky, I'm sorry I-I couldn't say this face to face, but....I-I...I Love you! Your all I think about! You all I want and more! Without you I can't remain sane...I hope you know that...I'm running out of space to write. Just know, I l-love you.. ~L.S.

Lightning looked back, at the field and town behind her. "Goodbye world...Goodbye love.." Lightning said turning backwards, and letting herself fall off.

  Sky ran and ran as fast as her hoofs could take her, her mane messy, she couldn't even feel her hoofs. Tears were trailing behind her, as in her mind she repeated: 'No! No! No! How blind am I?! Lightning p-please be okay! I can't live without you! I need you!' She said in her head, sniffling.

  Lightning took one last look, and fell. The close her eyes, a smile on her face. Just to think, the pain will end. She'll finally be.. happy.

   Sky ran fast enough, and saw the navy blue figure fall off. "NOOO!" She screamed opening her wings, diving after her.

As Lightning looked up seeing Sky, she smiled softly. "I-I'll miss you.." Her last words were as she closed her eyes again.

  Sky reached out a hoof, which sadly, wasn't enough to reach her beloved. "N-NO! P-PLEASE!" She screamed again.

  Lightning hit the ground, hard leaving a huge dent in the concrete. As she did, her whole vision and world became nothing but black. Her heart stopped beating, blood stopped flowing, and her pulse also stopped.

  Sky slowed down and landed, beside her loved one. Her head was bleeding, and so was her nose and most of her back. 'N-no...' She thought as she stared at the now dead corpse.

   "L-Lightning... I-I love you to.."
