Chaos buried her face into her scarf, the new hideout was cold but that was nothing compared to the ice in her bones.

She could feel Sam as he made himself comfortable in the hood of her hoodie, she hadn't understood why Sam had been left with her when she was pulled into this mess but now, she knew why.

It was her fault that Jack had been captured, if she hadn't watched that video, she wouldn't have been brought into this mess and Jack...

"I can't cry now." She wiped away the tears that had gathered in the corner of her eyes before she started humming.

Sam crawled out of her hood and he made his way to her shoulder, nuzzling her cheek.

"Thank you Sam." Chaos said as she nuzzled Sam back, smiling when she heard him squeak. "We'll get Jack back Sam and everything will be alright, I promise."

Sam squeaked again before he crawled back into her hood and he fell asleep. Chaos stared out of the window, watching as the snow fell, and she stayed like that for a few minutes until her shoulders started to shake and the tears that she denied earlier appeared again. They started to fall down her face and she watched the reflection of her face in the frozen glass of the window as her left eye started to shift, turning into a bright yellow eye with no pupils and a black sclera and inky black tears fell from this eye.

"I promise." Chaos muttered as she wiped at her mismatched eyes. "I will find a way to save you Jack, you and the rest of your friends. I won't let Warfstache win...
