"How was your day?" Mom smiled, as i got in the seat beside her. "Alright." I smiled while Mom started the car,"I got myself a scholarship form." 

"Wow. Really?" Mom chuckled, glancing at me and then back on the road. "Yes, After filling up the form, there will be some interview and if i pass, i might get a scholarship." 

"That's pretty good." Mom smiled when my phone started ringing. I pulled out my phone and saw Louis's face on the video call. Smiling to myself, i picked up the call and waved at Louis. 

"Hey, love." Louis grinned when i saw Harry and Niall standing behind him. 

"Hey everyone." I smiled. 

"Oh Louis. She isn't even home yet. I told you she might be on her way to home." I heard Zayn's voice from the background. 

"Shut up, Zayn." Louis groaned. 

"You know a lot about her, huh?" Harry teased, making me and Mom laugh. 

I turned the phone towards Mom and the boys screamed,"Hey Karen!!!" to which Mom replied with a big smile on her face. I turned it back to me and that's when i saw Zayn standing beside the rest of the boys. 

"Well, we called you to wish you all the best for your coming fashion contest." Niall smiled and everyone nodded. 

"Thank you guys." I smiled, getting out of the car. I unlocked the door while Mom parked the car in the driveway,"Where's Liam, by the way?" 

When i asked them about Liam, the four of them started laughing and smirking. 

"What?" I chuckled. 

"You really want to know hmm?" Louis whispered and i nodded, laughing at his actions. 

"Well, we'll show you." Niall joined in and the four of them, started walking up the stairs and stopped in front of-what looked like Liam's room. 

"Okay.. Here he is. Just don't speak anything" Louis smirked, turning the camera towards Liam Room and then slowly creaked it open. "Oh yeah, i remember." I heard Liam talking to someone on the phone and was laughing a lot. "Really?" I heard him again,"Aww that's so sweet." 

Suddenly everything went black but i could still hear some footsteps. After a few seconds, i could see Louis's face and then everyone was visible and they were all laughing uncontrollably. 

"What the hell was that?" I laughed. Mom smiled at me and then brought some lunch for the two of us. I excused myself and ran up to my bedroom, dropping my bag on the bed. 

"Didn't you understand?" Harry laughed and i just shook my head. 

"He got himself a girlfriend." Zayn explained and i burst out laughing, like the others. 

"That boy!" I laughed,"He was looking hilarious." 

"Yeah." Everyone laughed. 

"Evie, come have your lunch." I heard Mom calling me. 

"Bye guys, i gotta go." I smiled and everyone nodded waving at me. I cut the call and rushed downstairs before quickly changing my outfit. After having lunch, Mom left to her work and i was left alone at home. I pulled out my English worksheets and started doing some of the essays. That's when my thoughts wandered off to Anthony. He didn't even show up in the school today. He always informs me a day before if he takes a leave. Don't get me wrong, but i wasn't worried about him, not even a single bit. Why should i be? I hate him, loathe him. 

But still, if someone asks me, i should have something to tell them. Shaking the thoughts away, i continued with my work. 

Soon, two hours passed and i had completed my essays when i heard my phone ringing. I walked up to my bed and picked it up to find a call from Nick. 

"Hello?" I asked, picking if up. 

"Hey Evelyn!" Nick spoke very fast,"I wanted to inform you that someone has beaten Anthony. I found him injured, in the playground. So i took him to the hospital." 

"What?" I scowled,"How did this happen?" 

"I have no idea." He cried in panic,"I don't have his parent's numbers. And i don't even know what to do." 

"Calm down, Nick. I'll be there in a few minutes." I consoled him and quickly walked out before locking the front door. 

I wrote Mom a message, informing her about visiting a friend who got injured. I took a cab and quickly reached the hospital Nick told me to come. Paying the cab driver, I walked in the hospital and asked the receptionist for Anthony Williams. She told me the room Anthony was taken into and I quickly followed the ways she had told me. 

I saw Nick standing outside a door with his head hung low. I rushed up to him,"What happened Nick?"

"Oh Evelyn, thank god you're here." He sighed in relief,"I don't even know what happened." 

"Where is he now?" I asked him and he pointed towards the door. I peeped through the door which was creaked open and saw Anthony who was conscious now and was being treated by a nurse who was wrapping a bandage around his wounds. When he saw me, he gave me a smile but i just rolled my eyes at him. He has the audacity to smile at me now. 

"How do we inform his parents?" Nick asked, walking up to me,"They aren't even allowing me to meet Anthony." 

"Don't worry Nick." I smiled, rubbing his arms,"I informed his sister, his parents would be here soon." 

"Thank you Evelyn." He smiled back. That's when the nurse walked out and the two of us turned to her. 

"Can we meet him?" I asked her not because I was worried (this sounds so rude but honestly, i don't care) but because I needed to know what's going on his mind. 

"Are you family?" She asked me and i nodded. She smiled at me,"Sure, go ahead." 

"I'll go first." I told Nick and he nodded. I just wanted to ask him everything and talking to him alone would surely help me. 

"Are you alright?" I asked him while he just gave me a smile and nodded. 

"Now if you would excuse me, I need to know what happened." I spoke flatly. He frowned at me and started looking around the room. 

"Answer me Anthony." I demanded. 

"It's none of your business Evelyn." He replied plainly. 

"Oh really?" I chuckled bitterly,"Do you know who Nick called first? Me. Because he thinks that i know everything about you." 

"I understand. But it's really nothing which you need to know." He spoke, looking down. 

"Cmon Anthony. I know we're not good with each other but I need to confirm that you're safe." I whispered softly, feeling scared for his family. 

He looked at me for a few seconds before grabbing my face and pressed his lips onto mine. It was nothing, sweet, delicate or something about which you heard on movies. Rather, it was demanding, hunger and harsh. 

I pushed him slightly and glared at him,"This won't work." 

"Please sto-"

"Evelyn, his parents are here." Nick said, coming in the room,"What are you gonna tell them, Anthony?"

"That i hurt myself." Anthony replied,"Please don't tell them anything. You know about my mom." I nodded , remembering the time when he told me about his step mom who hated him and honestly, for the first time i felt bad for him. His dad never said a word to his lovely wife. Note the word, lovely.

"Yeah." Nick nodded. "Take care." I whispered and walked out.

As soon as we were out, i greeted his parents and then they walked inside to see him.

"I should go then." I said to Nick and he nodded.
"Bye." He waved and i scampered out of the hospital with millions of thoughts running inside my head.
