2.

Raavi found her husband in their bedroom. He was still sweating from working on those logs. With one swift motion, he removed his t-shirt and Raavi looked at his shirtless body. She had never known he looked this hot without a shirt. Maybe, if he had been nicer to her in his childhood, she would have fallen in love with him, instead of Dev. Things would have worked out perfectly fine.

"Ghoor kya rahi hai?" Shiva asked.

Raavi looked down and wondered if she would tell him what happened today. Dhara bhabhi had said no but she really wanted to tell Shiva everything. But she also knew telling him would be a mistake. He would definitely react, and his reaction would be extreme. Her husband not only had the name of Shiva, but he also possessed the anger of Shiva. And did she really want to drag the matter further? No, she just wanted peace.

"Ab aise statue ki tarah kyu khari hai?"

She could let go of her humiliation, but not Dhara Di's. Shiva had a right to know that, but Dhara di wouldn't appreciate her telling Shiva everything. Raavi was never good at keeping secrets. She felt like her stomach would burst if she didn't tell everything to Shiva. Maybe she could vent her feelings and not tell him anything about the incident.

"Ae maami ki behen ki beti, coma mein chali gayi hai kya?"

Raavi saw him move closer towards her and she got a good look at his body. Okay, it was too distracting. She would forget everything if he didn't put a shirt on. What was happening to her nowadays? Why couldn't she stop staring at him?

"Tu pehle shirt pehenle phir baat karungi." Raavi turned to the side so as to avoid looking at him.

"Mann nahi hai. Baat karni hai toh aise kar warna mat kar."

"Tu na ek number ka gadhera hai. Samajh nahi aa raha important baat karni hai?"

"Toh bol na."

Leave it on Shiva to make matters tough. She took a long breath to calm herself down. Dev had told her to think of a way to make Shiva understand her, and Raavi knew it would only work if she was calm herself. If Raavi wasn't careful, Dev and Rishita would receive the worst of his temper. And for Dhara di's sake, she didn't want any arguments in the family. After all, Dev was still Shiva's brother, and Rishita was still their bhabhi.

"Rishita ne aaj Dhara di aur meri insult ki." Raavi said. "Dhara di ne mujhse promise karwaya tha ki main kisi ko kuch na bolu. Par mujhse control nahi hua. Isiliye tu thoda thand rakh aur gussa mat karna."

"Ab kya kiya usne?" Shiva asked.

So Raavi narrated the entire incident. How she had walked up on them kissing and how Rishita insulted her and accused her of creating problems between her and Dev. How Dhara di had defended her, but got insulted by Rishita again.

"Dhara di nahi chahti ki koi aur jhagda ho iss ghar mein. Especially maa ke saamne. Toh tu gussa mat karna."

But Raavi could already see the wrath in his eyes. She felt the heat of his anger spreading and she knew if she didn't contain it, it would burn the entire haveli. "Tujhe Dhara di ki kasam tu Rishita ko kuch nahi kahega." She know this was the only way she could control his anger, and it worked. His anger was replaced by his love for his bhabhi.

"Agar react nahi karna tha toh bataya kyu?" Shiva asked.

"Kyuki mujhe bhi bohot gussa aa raha hai. Uski himmat kaisi hui meri Dhara di ki insult karne ki?" Raavi finally started venting out her feelings. "Main apni insult bhul sakti hu par Dhara di ki nahi. Woh tere liye teri maa jaisi hai, par mere liye bhi woh meri best friend, meri di, meri sabse favourite insaan hai."

Raavi felt lighter. She had vented out her feelings. Shiva's gaze softened as he looked at Raavi. He was proud and glad that his Dhara bhabhi had the same place in Raavi's heart she had in his. But Shiva couldn't let this matter go. Not only for his bhabhi but for his wife too. How dare Rishita insult either of them?

"Yeh Rishita itni aasaani se nahi sudhregi. Maine toh pehlei kaha tha Krish se. Iss Ameer baap ki bigdi hui beti ka kuch toh karna parega."

"Tujhe jo karna hai kar. Bas maa ko aur Dhara di ko kuch pata nahi chalna chahiye." Raavi said. "Aur tu dekh lena ki woh ameer baap ki bigdhi hui beti aake meri Dhara di se maafi maange."

"Maafi woh tum dono se maangegi." Shiva said.

Raavi smiled. Finally, Shiva proved that he was her real saviour. No, he was everyone's saviour. How dumb she had been to be in love with Dev all her life? How could she have been so blind? She had misjudged everything right from the very start. Most importantly, she has misjudged Dev. He was a nice person, of course. But her heart didn't want nice. It wanted passion, and the fierceness only Shiva carried within his heart.

Raavi was overwhelmed with these feelings. Without another thought she wrapped her arms around Shiva. Dev was right! Shiva was her prince.

"Ae maami ki behen ki beti, paagal ho gayi hai? Chipak kyu rahi hai?"

Raavi broke the hug and looked at him angrily. This prince still needed to learn how to treat his princess. "Tu pehle jaa aur nahake aa. Kitna paseena paseena ho rakha hai."

"Toh maine kaha tha, aa aake mujhse chudail jaise chipak jaa?"

"Tere jaise pishaach se toh chudail hi chipke gi na, Deepika thodi chipkegi?" Raavi said.

"Ae mami ke behen ki beti, jaa jaake mami se chipak. Khoon pi le uska. Mujhe baksh de."

"Tujhe bakshne ke liye maine tujhse shaadi nahi ki thi. Ab toh tera khoon, sukh, chain sab kuch pi lungi main. Pure saat janmo tak tera khoon piyungi."

Shiva felt as if she was different today. Her fighting style was different. Why was she hugging him all of a sudden? And why was she talking about saath janam? What was wrong with his maami ki behen ki beti? The sadness and the worry he has been seeing in her face these past few days had all disappeared today. She was looking genuinely happy.

"Tu kyu ghoor raha hai?"

"Aaj alag lag rahi hai tu." Shiva said.

Raavi laughed. She had decided to give this marriage a chance. A real one with all her heart. But she wouldn't tell this bhootnath just yet. She wanted him to want to give this marriage a real chance too. And for that she needed to make him love and respect her. He needed to see that she was his Raavi, not maami ki behen ki beti anymore.

"Tu Rishita ko sudhaar. Main tujhe sudhaarti hu." She thought.
