"Do you two always match your clothes? Or does Batman coordinate outfits for you two?"

"No, Robin just stole my hoodie this morning because he has no clean clothes. Downside of being the only girl in a house full of testosterone, there's always a mess somewhere and dirty laundry."

"More like it was mine before it disappeared for two months." Dick called out and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever you say, Boy Wonder."

"You two live together?" Wally asked and we nodded. "And here I thought it was Batman who randomly decided to have two protégés, turns out it's a package deal."

"It's been a package deal for three years, doubt it's gonna change anytime soon." Dick shrugged and swung an arm over my shoulders as we walked to the mission room. "And this was my hoodie, Domino."

"It was in my pile."

"Because you stole it again."

"Focus." Bruce scolded and we both shut up immediately.

"Yessir." We both mumbled and he sighed, deciding to ignore us.

"Isla Santa Prisca...This island nation is the primary source of a dangerous and illegal neuro-steroid, a strength-enhancing drug sold under the street name Venom. The infrared heat signatures indicate that their factory is operating at full capacity, but all shipments of Venom have inexplicably cut off. That's where this Team comes in. This is a covert recon mission only. Observe and report. If the Justice League needs to intervene, it will."

"Who's in charge?" Dick asked and Bruce widened his eyes slightly, glancing at Red Tornado before turning back to us.

"Work that out between you... since this is a recon mission, you'll need to go undercover. Which means to not use your regular suits."

"We're definitely not going in as tourists, Batman." I pointed out and was thrown a white belt, a new suit and mask, and a gauntlet. "Upgrade?"

"Stealth tech. Press the button on the inside of the gauntlet and your suit will change to stealth. I suggest you all go change... you leave in thirty minutes." He said and everyone scrambled away. "Robin and Domino, fall back for a second."

"Rabies time." Dick snickered and I stepped on his foot.

"Domino, I'm giving you the full shot because I can't risk you falling asleep and then having Robin carry you around." Bruce said, pulling out a syringe and I sighed, holding out my arm. "It's temporary until we find a-"

"There's no cure, Batman." I mumbled and winced when the Venom entered my bloodstream. "You heard him better than I did."

"We will find a cure, Domino. I promise."

"Don't go talking about promises to me."

"What do you-"

"Dinner, as always. And I took care of it, as always." Dick shrugged.

"I knew I forgot something that night! Mae, I'm so-"

"I'm used to it, Bats. It's okay." I faked a smile and fixed my sunglasses.

"Be careful out there, okay? It's your first mission on your own. Watch out for each other and the Team, got it?"

"We will." We both said in unison and gave Bruce a small hug before running to our rooms to change.

"Good luck!"

"Thanks, Bats!"

"Drop Zone B."

"Alright kiddos, it's playtime." I sighed, standing up and changed into my stealth suit. "And I hate it, but serves its purpose."

"I like the colors of it." Dick shrugged, refusing to change into his stealth suit and I smiled slightly.

"I prefer the white suit." I chuckled as a hole opened on the Bioship and waved at all of them. "See ya at the bottom!"

Before anyone could scream, I jumped out of the Bioship and used the branches around me to soften my landing with a small thud.

One by one, they all landed softly on the ground. All except for Superboy who decided to cause a small earthquake and almost kill me if it weren't for Wally pushing me out of the way.

"Knew I didn't need a line!" He smiled and we all rolled our eyes.

"And yet, creating a seismic event may not have helped us much with the ＂covert＂." Dick scoffed and turned to me. "And how did you learn how to-"

"Mom's a gymnast and aunt Selina taught me a few things last time I saw her." I shrugged, fixing my pigtails and he gave me a look. "What!?"

"You look just like your mom..."

"Better her than my dad, so I'm taking it as a compliment... but it's the hair, right?"

"Definitely."

"Remind me to never wear it like this again."

"Why didn't you follow our lead and vanish into the jungle!?"

"That's what you two were doing? We're not mind readers! And where's Domino!?"

"Look up very discreetly, KF." I whispered, watching the fight below me. Wally managed to look up and I waved with a smile, swinging my bat around. "Robin, the usual?"

"Bring it!" Dick grinned, standing right below me.

I jumped down from the tree, landing on his shoulders and flipped behind one of the goons, hitting the bat against his neck. Dick slid under him and we both kicked him to the nearest tree, knocking him unconscious and tied him up.

"I recognize those uniforms... they belong to the Cult of The Kobra." He called out to the Team as they all stood behind us.

"I am certain Batman would have mentioned it if he knew a dangerous extremist was running Santa Prisca's Venom operation." Kaldur says, stepping closer to us in case we ran away again.

"Agreed. And since there's no love lost between the cultists and those goons, I'm betting they came in and tossed them out. That's why normal supply lines have been cut off."

"We get it. Kobra wanted super cultists." Wally says confidently. "Radio Bats and we'll be home in time for-"

"These cultists aren't on Venom." I cut him off. "Kobra's hoarding the stuff. We don't leave. Not until we know why."

"Which is why I think that we should-"

"You think?" Wally interrupted Dick and took a step forward making me hide behind Kaldur.

"This team needs a leader."

"And it's you? Dude, you're a thirteen-year-old kid who ducked out on us with Domino without a word."

"And you're a mature fifteen? You blew our cover first chance you got! At least Domino and I are good at hiding in plain sight. Hell, Domino's trained for that!" Dick pointed out as I covered my ears, using Kaldur as a human shield which only confused the rest of the Team.

"Don't you wanna lead, Domino?" Megan asked and I shook my head. "Why not? You'd make a great-"

"A leader shouldn't have a lot of secrets or live a lie... and my entire life has been a lie and a secret. So, I'll pass." I mumbled, climbing up the nearest tree in an attempt to escape the argument.

"Why are you hiding?" Kaldur asked once I sat on a branch.

"I don't like yelling or problems... always ends up with someone getting hurt or thrown off a building."

"Thrown off a-"

"You're not Batman." Wally said and Dick scoffed.

"Closest thing we've got!" He spat back, making Bane laugh.

"Such clever niños. But you only know half the story... Let me show you the rest, get you into the factory via my secret entrance." He smirked and Kaldur helped me get down from the branch I was sitting on. "Oh? Well, look what we have here! Aren't you the Joker's dau-"

I cut him off with a punch to the bridge of his nose and suffocated him with the bat.

"Finish that sentence and I'll rip your tongue clean off before you can even blink. You hear me!?" I hissed and was pulled back by Superboy and Dick.

"He's hiding something." Megan butted and I tried to take a step forward but Superboy's grip tightened.

"I'll make him talk. When I'm done, he's singing like a canary."

"He's mentally reciting fútbol scores en Español. This could take a while."

"Could be much easier if we let her go crazy." Wally shrugged and I nodded. "I mean... she did break his nose."

"Titanium plates on my gloves. Works like a charm every time." I smirked.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Bane spoke out and we all turned to him. "And anything to not have my face broken again."

"You mention the other thing, and your face won't be the only thing I break. I've worked real hard to not be associated with him and I'd like to keep it that way. Deal?"

"Deal."

"You alright, Domino?"

"I'm fine." I spat and Dick nodded, hands raised in surrender. "Can we focus on the mission, please?"

He nodded, handing me a pair of binoculars and pointed at the factory.

"Look at all that product." He mutters. "A buy is going down...But if Kobra's not selling to the usual suspects, then-"

"We'll need to identify the buyer." I finished and turned to follow Bane to his entrance. "How'd you know it was me? I haven't seen you since I was five and you did that meth deal for him."

"You're the spitting image of your mother, Ace." Bane said and I nodded. "And the smile and craziness is a clear giveaway."

"It's Domino and I'd appreciate it if you don't tell anyone the truth."

"Secret's safe, Domino. I may be a crook, but I'm no snitch."I nodded in thanks once he opened the entrance.

"This way everyone!" I called out and Bane smiled slightly. "Thanks, by the way... and I'm sorry I broke your nose."

"Any time, Domino..."

"No way you two know each other!" Wally exclaimed and I nodded. "How!?"

"I know a lot of people, KF. Some good, some bad. Just depends on context and situations." I teased and tagged Dick before rubbing down the tunnel. "You're it!"

"Oh, come on!" He laughed and chased after me. "Really, Domino!?"

"Try to keep up, Boy Wonder!"

"You're it."

"Funny."

"How do you know Bane?" Dick asked, helping me climb down the vent of the control room after using a Batarang to knock out the Kobra agent.

"Years ago, when Joker was a drug dealer outside of Gotham. Bane taught me how to fight just in case Dad got a little bit too crazy and Mom was knocked out. He's bigger than I remembered, though." I shrugged, pushing the Kobra agent away from the desk. "All yours, Robin."

"Anyone else you know?"

"The usual. Ivy, Cat, Penguin, etcetera. Ivy and Cat are actually my aunts. Ivy... she tried to take me after Mom was in a body cast but by that time, you and Bats found me. Cat taught me how to do things and not get caught, also how to trick any and all security systems with a cable and a screwdriver."

"Good thing we did, huh?" Dick smirked and I nodded, taking a step back when Wally sped into the room.

"What you got?"

"Chemical formulas. I'm guessing it involves Venom, but..."

"That one's Venom, definitely." I peered over his shoulder and Wally handed me half of his candy bar. "The other, I don't think-"

"The Blockbuster formula from Cadmus. Mixed correctly, Kobra's new juice is three times stronger than Venom... and permanent." Wally realizes horrified and turned to us. "But how did Kobra get access to Project Blockbuster?"

"Our mystery buyer must also be Kobra's supplier! Using the cult to create the Blockbuster-Venom superformula!" Dick exclaimed and reached for his comms. "Robin to Aqualad, we got... static."

"That can't be good." I muttered, reaching for my bat.

"It never is."

"Everyone online."

"Yeah... you can't read my thoughts, right M?"

"Not if you don't want me to, Domino." Megan said and I nodded.

"Good... stay out of it." I spat, following Dick out of the building.

"We need to regroup." Kaldur called out.

"Busy now!" Dick and I thought in unison and landed in front of a helicopter.

"Batman must be desperate if he sends whelp and the Joker's daughter to task me." Kobra laughed.

"It's getting real annoying that everyone knows me, y'know? Why do I even bother with the secret identity anymore?" I scoffed, swinging the bat around. "You look disconcerted."

"This is beneath me. Shimmer, take them." Kobra rolled his eyes.

"Robin, Domino... we need to move!" Kaldur yelled and I groaned, hitting Shimmer with my bat while Dick threw a smoke bomb and used his grappling hook to get us back in the building.

"You people never let me have fun." I grumbled, trying to catch up to the Team, making our way back inside the entrance and chased by the Kobra cult.

"Superboy, the support beams!" Kaldur ordered. He punches out three in succession but wasn't expecting the cave in to be so rapid. Thankfully, Megan grabs the back of his shirt and pulls him away from the debris while Wally grabbed my arm and shielded me.

I grabbed a glow stick from my belt and snapped it, creating a life source and handed one to Kaldur.

"How can my first mission as Leader go so wrong?" Dick questions and I sighed, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"You do have the most experience. But perhaps that is exactly what has left you unprepared... You and Domino work as a perfect pair, your roles so defined, there's no need to talk. You predict each other's movements and communicate with a single glance even from opposite ends of the building. But this team is new. And a leader needs to be clear, explicit. He cannot vanish and expect others to play part in an unknown plan."

"Oh, so I'm supposed to hold everyone's hands!?" He scoffed and turned to the rest of the Team. "Ah, who am I kidding? You should lead us, Kaldur. You're the only one who can."

"Please, I can run circles-"

"He's the obvious one, Wall. He managed to keep my head in the game while you and Robin were screaming at each other like a married couple." I called out with a small smile. "The choice has been clear since the start."

"I accept the burden." Kaldur sighed and placed his hands on both mine and Dick's shoulders. "But only until either of you are ready to lift it from my shoulders. You were born to lead this team. Maybe not now, but soon."

"A leader shouldn't have secrets, Kaldur... and I carry a big one."

"And you'll tell us when the time is right... Alright, our first priority is preventing that shipment from leaving the island."

"I think our first priority should be leaving this tunnel before we run out of air." I chuckled, looking around. "And I think I know a way."

"Lead the way, Domino."
