"Sportsmaster's the supplier-slash-buyer. But it still doesn't track. He doesn't have the juice to acquire the Blockbuster formula or to get Kobra to do his dirty work."
"And neither of them have the chops to bond Blockbuster with Venom." Wally agrees. "That took some major nerdage."
"I believe the expression is "tip of the iceberg"." Kaldur states, coming to a stop as we see Bane standing in front of our exit. Something long and metal dropping from his grip. Joining at least half a dozen more just like it on the ground.
"Halt, niños." Bane commands, something bright green sticking out of his left hand. "I'm feeling explosive."
Behind us are explosives on the second to last support beam.
"You betrayed us. Why?" Kaldur asks, sounding confused.
"I want my factory back." Bane states simply. "So, I forced you into a situation where you would either take down my enemies or die trying. If the latter, the Justice League would certainly come to avenge their sidekicks. And when the smoke cleared Santa Prisca would be mine once more. Blowing the tunnel with you inside should have the same effect."
"Kid, you'll need a running start."
I gripped my bat, standing in front of Dick defensively and stared Bane down. Letting out a small nod, Wally sped past us and grabbed the detonator.
"With what?" Wally's voice asks from behind, leaning smugly against a nearby tree as Bane turns to him. "This trigger thingy?"
Bane went to go punch the ginger but was pulled back and away by an unseen force. Or rather Megan's telekinesis. Now being held a good ten feet off the ground, we join her where Bane can see us.
"Can I?" I asked and they all agreed. "Finally!"
Kaldur helped me climb up Bane's back and I hit him with the bat on the back of the neck before suffocating him. I nodded at Superboy as Megan set us down and he punched him in the face, fully knocking him out.
"Domino, Robin, do you have any idea where Sportsmaster might be?" Kaldur asked and we nodded.
"Helicopter." We replied in unison and ran away. "Follow us!"
"They seriously have to stop being so in sync, it's disturbing." Wally muttered and I laughed.
"Shut up, KF."

"Hey, Sportsmaster! We have scores to settle!"
"Okay, is there anyone you don't know!?" Wally yelled and I laughed, jumping down from the building.
"Not really, KF. I know a lot of people and have a lot of information on a lot of people." I smirked, landing in front of Sportsmaster. "How are your daughters? They still hate you?"
"How's your dad?" He asked and I bared my teeth. "And your mom? Beaten bloody again?"
"Don't talk about my mother. At least she did her best to raise me and have a childhood while you trained yours to be weapons." I spat and attempted to swing the bat at his face, but he dodged with ease.
"Looks like Harley didn't teach you much. You fight like a girl."
"Good, which means you'll lose to a teenage girl." I smirked, jumping to the side of the helicopter and kicked him across the chest. "And keep my mom's name out of your mouth."
"Domino, give me some room." Superboy called out and I nodded, rolling under the helicopter right before he got shot in the back.
"Damn it!" I yelled and climbed up the helicopter, then jumped down on Sportsmaster's shoulders and used the bat to suffocate him. "Quit, dammit! Quit!"
"Domino, what are you doing!?" Dick yelled, along with the rest of the team.
"Just quit, for the love of God!" I applied more pressure on the bat and watched as Sportsmaster struggled to breathe.
"I'll make sure to tell your Daddy what his little Ace has been up to." He managed to choke out. I loosened my grip in shock, giving him the opportunity to throw me towards Superboy who barely managed to catch me.
"He's locked up! I saw him two weeks ago and he's locked up!"
"That's what you think... word in Gotham says otherwise, little Acey." Sportsmaster shrugged and got on the helicopter. "Thanks for the workout, but I gotta fly."
"Domino! What were you-" Wally was cut off by Megan pressing the trigger and the back of the helicopter exploded, landing on the factory causing it to go up in flames. "Causing a distraction? Nice!"
"Why did he call you Ace?" Superboy asked helping me stand up.
"I don't wanna talk about it." I mumbled, fixing my mask and looked around for Dick who was fighting Kobra. "Robin, what on Earth are you doing!?"
"Winning!" Dick yelled from his position on the ground and we all immediately ran up to help him.
"I am plagued by mosquitoes!" Kobra proclaims, glaring down at Dick.
"Good, because this mosquito is mighty concerted over your pain!" He said and rolls into a handstand and springs back towards us.
"Don't mouth off the bad guys, that's my thing." I whispered and he smirked.
"Another time then." Kobra shrugged and disappeared into the shadows. Dick and I ran to try and catch him, but was met with nothing.
"We picked the right guy to lead." Dick tells Kaldur sincerely. "Automatically making you the right guy to explain this mess to Batman!"
"Thank God, because I don't want that spitfire." I joined in and we walked to a secluded corner. "Sportsmaster says that Dad escaped again."
"He's lying, Domino. We saw him in his cell when we went to visit your mom a few days ago."
"But knowing my dad, he's probably right."
"If it is, what are you gonna do?"
"Talk to one of my aunts. When Bats comes and yells at us, will you cover for me?" I begged and Dick nodded with a sigh. "You're my lifeline, Robin! Thanks!"
"Don't get used to it, Domino."

"You know it's not safe to be a teenager in Crime Alley."
"But I know you've been watching me since the moment I stepped out of the car." I shrugged and looked up to see Selina leaning against a fire escape and holding a diamond necklace. "I see my trap worked."
"You're funny, little one. You know I can't resist diamonds." Selina jumped down and outstretched her arms. "Not gonna give your favorite auntie a hug?"
I smiled and ran up to hug her tight, feeling her claws run through my hair in comfort.
"I missed you, aunt Selina."
"I missed you too, Maeve... but I know that you never leave traps unless you need something. Is Batman treating you right? Do I need to-"
"Is it true that Joker escaped Arkham?" I interrupted and she widened her eyes. "Had a run in with Sportsmaster and he told me."
"He... he did, kitten. I was just going to find a way to tip Batman." She admitted and I nodded, tears forming in my eyes. "But you know that I'll do everything in my power to keep him away from you, Maeve. You're not going back to him."
"But he was so close last time, aunt Selina." I whimpered. "I don't wanna go back, especially if Mom's not there."
"Harls' with him, kitten. You know better than I ask that there's no separating her from Joker."
"What should I do, aunt Selina? I don't wanna go back to him."
"Don't walk around Gotham without Batman or the Wonder Boy. Right now, the Bats is the only person who can keep you safe from Joker's grasp." Selina said and wiped my tears before pulling me to another hug. "Which means that your visits will have to stop for the meantime, but that doesn't mean I won't be watching over you... you just won't see me, but I'll be there, kitten. I promise."
"I'm scared, Selina..."
"I know, kitten. But you have to promise me that you won't go searching for him to try and send him back. Let Batman do the dirty work and you stick to the side with Robin. Okay?"
"I promised." I whispered and hugged her tighter. "I love you, aunt Selina."
"I love you more, kitten. Never forget that."
