~Dick's POV~

"Harvey's down and so is Dollmaker."

"I've got Pyg tied up in front of GCPD and they're handling Penguin." I said, parking my bike next to Artemis. "Babe, you there?"

"Mhm... Dent's got a few broken bones and I think a ruptured organ, but he's down and out. Call me when your side's done. I've got Reaper." Maeve sighed.

"Be safe, please. I love you."

"I... I love you too, Nightwing."

"I saw Catwoman and Harley taking down Freeze together." Artemis shrugged and I nodded. "What's wrong, Wonder Boy?"

"We got in a fight and she's going feral."

"Her little bird's in trouble, Nightwing. She'd do the same for any of us."

"She said she wants to kill him. I don't think I can let her do that. I can't let her turn into him, Artemis."

"Look, staying here and talking about it will get us nowhere and it's certainly won't help us find Robin. Let's just-" Artemis was cut off by a scream coming from Crime Alley followed by laughter.

"NIGHTWING!" Maeve screamed and I immediately drove to Crime Alley with Artemis trailing behind.

"Please fight back, please fight back." I whispered, arriving at Crime Alley and was immediately covered in smoke. "DOMINO!"

"Nightwing, duck!" Artemis called out and I lowered my head when she launched an arrow that sucked up all the smoke.

It's empty... I'm too late.

The only thing that was hers was the belt on the floor and her static gun, as well as a note on the wall in spray paint.

She was never yours.

"Dammit!" I yelled, punching the dumpster next to me. "She was so fucking close!"

"Nightwing..."

"Fucking Joker and his fucking-"

"DICK!" Artemis yelled and I turned to her.

"What!?"

"The sun's coming up... we need to tell the Team."

"You will, I'm gonna find them and bring them home." I said, picking up Mae's belt and got on my bike. "Don't wait up and tell Batman to get the League involved if he has to."

"Do you even know where?"

"She couldn't have gotten far."

~Jason's POV~

"Domino?"

24 hours.

I think.

24 hours I've been locked God knows where with nothing but a moldy mattress and a chair.

I must be in Arkham by the sounds of people screaming, but I'm not really sure.

I don't even know how this happened. One minute, Maeve and I were taking down Clayface, and the next I was being taken in Crime Alley.

I tried to fight back, but it's hard when you were choked half to death and beaten with a crowbar before you had the chance to properly defend yourself.

But she'll find me...

She always does.

I just hope my call was enough to trace.

"Get in there and shut up." I heard someone say before a door was open and a body was thrown inside.

White hair, white suit.

"Domino!" I exclaimed, crawling towards her as she stirred awake. "Oh, thank God you're not dead."

"Robin?" She whispered and I nodded frantically.

"I'm here, Mom. I'm here." I cried and helped her sit. "How'd you-"

"I don't know... I was searching for you with Nightwing and Artemis and then, all of a sudden, I was in Crime Alley. I don't even know how I got there since I was in North Gotham."

"Is he-"

"I don't know... everything's a blur, little bird." She sighed, clutching her head and I tensed when the door opened again and a very familiar laugh was heard.

"I told you that your life belongs to me and that he wasn't yours, Ace."

~Dick's POV~

"Morning, sleepyhead."

"What happened?"

"You and Batman wiped the entire city clean in less than 48 hours. GCPD cells are at capacity and everyone's being transferred to Belle Reve." Artemis crossed her arms as I sat on my bed with a groan. "Wall and I found you passed out by the pier next to the burnt down warehouse. Bruce gave you a sedative to rest and you've been out for 12 hours."

"I couldn't find her." I grumbled, glancing at the pictures on my nightstand of me and Maeve. "I should've listened three years ago when Jason came home."

"Dick, none of us could've anticipated this." Wally frowned. "We just have work and try and find them. Zee's working on the locator spell again."

"I'll go out again in twenty minutes to search."

"Dick, you've been passed out for 12 hours. You spent two days running and screaming trying to find them." Megan butted, trying to ease me back into bed but Bruce walked in looking worse for wear. "Any updates?"

"All of you should see this." Was all he said before leaving.

"Well... you heard him!"

"As you can see, Batsy, I have kidnapped my two children..."

"Where is this?" I asked, twirling a Batarang around.

"I've been trying to decode for the past 24 hours and I keep getting nothing. Every time, I get a different location, from Star City to Bosnia." Bruce grumbled, leaning back against his chair watching as they hooked Maeve and Jason's arms to some chains and their feet dangling off the floor. "He's been planning this for a while."

"Try this. It helped back in Santa Prisca." Wally called out and threw us a hard drive. "If it doesn't decode with that, then it's impossible."

"Zatanna, can you try the locator spell again?" Kaldur asked and she immediately nodded.

"Aww, come on, Acey... who do you hate?" Joker asked, holding a knife dangerously close to her face.

"Lots of people, actually... you're number one." She grinned, before swinging off the hook and tied the chains around his neck. "Robin, go!"

Jason jumped off the hook and tried to escape, but one of Joker's goons knocked him down and banged his head against a table before pointing a gun at his temple.

"You or him, Ace... your choice." Joker choked out and Maeve slowly released him from the chains and held up her hands. "Smart girl."

Maeve let out a small nod and Jason immediately ducked, kicking the goon on the side of his knees and grabbed the gun, throwing it to her.

Maeve let out a small breath before shooting the goon on his collarbone and grabbed Jason's hand, both of them kicking down the door and ran away.

"Gotta run, Batsy! Our kids are slippery ones." Joker smiled and the video ended.

"Did she-"

"No... he was still breathing when they left." I interrupted Connor who let out a sigh of relief. "Anything, Bruce?"

"No... the video has a virus that'll corrupt our entire system if I keep trying." He sighed. "I'm afraid we're going in blind."

"Something's blocking my spell... I can't locate them." Zatanna held her head as Roy helped her sit and turned to me. "I'm so sorry, Dick... I tried."

"Finding them will be the Team's top priority. All covert missions are postponed until they are found." Kaldur decided and we all nodded. "Dick is in charge of the operation."

"Well, boss... what's our first move?" Roy asked as everyone turned to me.

"We meet up at the Cave. I'll give further instructions there."

~Maeve's POV~

"I know these halls like the back of my hand... hard left, now!"

My worst nightmare came true.

The inmates are running the asylum... and Joker's the leader.

"Robin, duck!" I yelled, pushing Jason aside and shot an inmate on the center of his forehead without hesitation.

"You.. you-"

"No time to think, just move!" I spat, dragging Jason further down the hall, keeping the gun close to me. "There's supposed to be a door here somewhere that connects to the basement... We can crawl out and enter the sewers."

"Ace!" Joker yelled just as Jason tripped with a medical cart and made both of us fall. "I found you..."

"Shit, I'm sorry, Domino." Jason hissed as we both tried to stand but Joker caught up to us, hitting both of us across the face with a crowbar.

Before Joker could land another hit, I stood in front of Jason and spat the blood out.

"That's enough." I spat and he started laughing.

"Oh, Acey... I'm just getting started."
