Chapter 6
Thomas Marsin
I heard Alice had a headache so the best way to make my move was to lay her head on my shoulder. Of course she refused so I kind of ended up forcing her... Oops. Was that wrong. She seemed to relax more though. Samantha in the seat next to us though was glaring at me. I wonder what Alice is thinking right now?
"So what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?" She re-adjusted so she could pick her head up. Wow she is so cute.
"Have you heard of a terrorist group led by a women named Cia?" Why would she ask me about that? Does she know about it? Is she apart of it? I decided to ignore that question., so I started talking to the guys. Since she was sitting in the window seat I didn't have to lean over her. She looked so beautiful though. Her hair was in a perfect braid as well. Upon closer inspection of her face she was wearing some make up as well, but it wasn't to cover up any pimples or anything like that. She had small scars they were kind of cute. We are about halfway up the mountain before I answer.
"Yes." Then the bus flips down the mountain. Everyone screams except Alice... She's completely calm. She's holding me tightly. Then she says,
"Don't let go."
"I won't." Then everything went dark. Am I dead. No I would see God if I was. What's going on. When I wake up Alice is there with Christopher and Emma. They are both knocked out, but breathing. She is bandaging them. She is hurt badly. Then I notice I am bandaged up. Alice is still calm. Did she know this would happen? I sit up more then she hears me. She finishes tending to Christopher and comes over to me.
"Don't try to get up... you'll make it worse." I try to speak but nothing comes out. I finally regain my voice once Alice starts cleaning Emma's wounds.
"Did you know this would happen." My voice is raspy and doesn't sound normal. I feel like snickering at it, but then Alice stops what she is doing . I can't explain how much sorrow I felt for her, because she obviously saw something she shouldn't have. She was holding back any tears she had once she processed what I said. She stopped after a while and her answer shocked me...
"Yes. I didn't know exactly this is how it would happen, but I knew something like this would happen. Don't ask how yet... I just knew it would happen, but not how, when, or where." When she says this I'm crying.
"Where are the others?" It's hard for her to say it, but she spits it out.
"D-Dead." She turned her back to me to make sure I didn't see her cry, but she wasn't crying, she looked like she was hurting. I start to get up, and then I get a very painful migraine. She looks over her shoulder, and walks over to me and helps me sit back down. I want to see what the crash sight looks like, but I know I shouldn't.
"How do you know they are all dead?"
"I don't know exactly, but from the looks of it," she took a deep breath in to calm herself down, "I was going to go check to make sure after I finished tending to their wounds, but I don't know if I can." She sounded very calm when she said this. I couldn't say anything after this, because I passed out from the pain.

When I woke up again Alice was walking back into the cave she brought the 3 of us in. She had someone slung over her shoulder. How did she get all the medical supplies? Samantha. Thats who was on her shoulder. She had a lot of really bad cuts all over. She set Samantha down on the ground slowly, and gently. Alice on the other hand, had giant and little cuts up and down all of the skin that wasn't covered, but she also had multiple scars from where the skin was showing. I was thinking when I first saw the scars that she had a small tumble as a kid, but now I'm thinking other things. Overall Alice looked really rough I could finally get up without getting a migraine so I got onto my knees and crawled over to Samantha. Alice was out of the cave when I did this. I looked at how stiff she was. Her makeup was smeared, and she didn't look like herself she was still breathing though.
"You really shouldn't be moving around you know. You got hurt pretty badly." That voice wasn't Alice's... Emma. I turned around. She came over to me and helped me stand up. She looked fine rather than a few cuts and scrapes. "Alice's not going to be happy about you standing up, but you need to get some stretching in." Christopher wasn't in here anymore.
"Where are Christopher and Alice."
"They are checking everyone, and making sure that there weren't any other survivors."
"Where are the ambulance and paramedics?"
"They haven't arrived yet. It's only 7:30 A.M. so the crash didn't happen long ago." Just then Christopher walked in with Alice behind him. Alice looked worse than the time she cut her knee open.
"Any other survivors?" Emma had a glimpse of hope in her eyes. They just hung their heads. Alice had that same uncomfortable look she had when she had her headache. She walked over to the wall, sat down, and buried her head in her hands. She didn't look sad or in shock. She looked like she was in pain. I walked over to her and sat next to her.
"Hey are you doing okay or do you still have that headache?" She gave me a slight smile. Then she looked up like she heard something.
"The paramedics are here."
" I don't hear anything." She got Samantha and carried her back out. A minute later Alice came back in without Samantha, and I finally heard the sirens.
"Why don't we go out there to the paramedics." Christopher looked frazzled and hopeful we would make it back to our families.
"It's not safe to go with the government. We have to go back later. Cia will be after us. SHE is the one who cause the crash." Alice said frustrated.
"Cia the leader of the terrorist group. Yea right." Emma was very doubting for the first time
"We will not be safe until we get to Thomas' parents. They will explain everything. You all have to trust me okay?" I did trust Alice, but why would my parents help. "Please trust me. You guys are the only ones I can trust." She had a glint of sadness and mixed emotion in her eyes.
"I trust you. Besides this could be an adventure. Lets think bright." Emma hugged Alice.
"I'm in if she's in. I trust you Alice." Christopher hugged Alice as well.
"I'm in. I trust all of you." I'm scared to do this, but I know that Alice will keep us all safe. Then for the first time, I finally saw Alice smile a real smile that was true, genuine, and trustworthy. Alice broke her smile though, and got back to being serious, and packing up all the medical supplies.
"Wait!" I couldn't let Alice walk down the canyon bleeding out. "You need to bandage yourself up."
"Oh hah I guess that I forgot I've been so busy with well you know." Her face saddened, and was really gloomy. How can she be alright looking through all of this. She looks tired. Did she even get knocked out in the crash. Ugh I can't think straight. Maybe I should lie down. So I sat down and watched as Alice got food out of her bag for us and Emma and Christopher talked. Nothing exciting was happening so I decided to take a short nap. While I took nap I had this really odd dream. We were tumbling down the canyon again, but I thought I saw someone at the top of the road watching us plummet to our deaths. After that my sleep was as boring as our Science class.
