Chapter 17
Thomas Marsin
I'm so happy that Alice was able to recover quickly, but I'm even more happy that my house is 10 minutes away. It gives me time to talk to the gloomy looking Alice.
"Hey what's with the sad look? We all made it. I just wish Clay didn't disappear like that." I tried to make her laugh. I got a little chuckle out of her, but then she went back to being sad.
"I wanted to wait to tell you, and everyone else tomorrow." I just wish she would be more willing to talk to me. After a couple minutes of silence it started to pour rain. Alice didn't seem bothered, but she looked a little cold, so I took off my jacket and gave it to her.
"Thanks." She said as we came upon my house. "Thomas?"
"Yea?"
"I just wanted to say..." Yes she's going to probably tell me what's going on. When I thought she was going to say something, she then pulled me close, and kissed me. WOAH!
"I love you Thomas Marsin."
"I love you too Alice Lumiathin." We both smiled at each other then walked up and rang my doorbell. My parents came out happy.
"I knew you guys would do it. Well done to both of you." My dad said.
"Oh I'm just so glad you all are safe. When the guards said someone showed up at the gates, I just knew it was you." My mom stood up on her tip toes to kiss me on my forehead, which of course made me blush.
"Well I should probably go. 10 tomorrow Thomas... Okay?"
"Okay. See you then." She gave me my jacket back, and was off. She is so beautiful in the rain. Her long brown braided hair. Her emerald green eyes sparkling, and her well pajamas that I had not realized we had all still been wearing. Oops. I was then pulled inside out of the rain by my parents while I watched Alice Lumiathin, the girl of my dreams disappear out of my sight.
