    One minute we are running along very peacefully the next thing you know the one person you are trying to kill is standing right in-front us.
    "Alice darling!  What a pleasant surprise!  Oh look how big you've grown!"  Cia had a elegant way of saying I'm going to kill you.  When I looked over at Alice, she already had her handgun and knife out.
    "Cia!  You know we are going to kill you, so why don't you just give up?"  Alice sounded very confident.
    "Because darling, if I gave up now I wouldn't have the fun of torturing you."  After she said that she ran over to Christopher and cut his arm and threw him against a tree knocking him unconscious.
    "CHRISTOPHER!"  Emma screamed.  I held Emma before she turned her back on Cia.
    "LET ME GO!"  Emma screamed.  Alice and Cia though had already began fighting .  I turned Emma to face me.
    "Emma listen to me.  Christopher is fine, but we need to help Alice.  Okay?"  Emma looked at me with her pouty eyes, and nodded.
    "Good now let's go help Alice."
    "I don't think so!" Cia yelled as she rammed into Emma.  Emma hit her head hard on the ground and was also knocked out.  Great just me, Alice, and Cia.  Well maybe if I do long range it will help.  So I shot at Cia.  I hit her twice before she fired at me.  She hit me in the side.  I stumbled trying to stay alive, and awake.  With my last strength I rammed Cia into rocks.  It helped until she pushed me over.  Then I was out like a light.  Everything around me was spinning.  I couldn't focus.  I couldn't open my eyes, so I just accepted the fact that I might die.  I opened my eyes finally to see Alice.  Her perfect braided hair.  Her glowing skin.  Her sparkling emerald eyes.  With that image... I was gone.

The brightness of the moon was shining through the window.  What happened?  Where are we?  We are moving I can tell.  I open my eyes fully to see we are in a truck.  I am in the front passenger side.  I try to prop myself a little. 
    "Oh I'm so glad you are awake."  This is not Alice, Emma, or Christopher talking to me.  Clay.
    "Where are the others?"  I ask.  I really hope that everyone is okay.
    "In the back.  You guys got pretty banged up.  If it wasn't for you firing at Cia I would have never known you were in trouble."  I really don't want to be too pushy, but I have to be.  I was pretty much dead.
    "So what exactly happened?"
    "I really don't know.  If you want to know you have to wait 'till your girlfriend's awake.  Before you ask where we are going I will tell you.  We are going to the colony.  We're almost there.  'Bout 1 more hour and we'll be there."  I am really wondering what happened, and how bad Alice was beaten, so I turn around to see the other 3.  Emma was laying next to Christopher.  She had a cut on her head.  Not fatal, but still bleeding.  Christopher's arm was still cut, and bleeding.  He also had burns up and down his neck and back.  Alice was in the back of the truck.  She was laying on the ground.
    "Hey Clay. Can I go back to Alice?"
    "Yea I'll stop on the side so you can."    Clay pulled off on the side of the road, so I could climb into the back, and be next to Alice.  I went through the back of the truck van thing, and sat next to Alice.  She had multiple cuts, and a giant cut running up her back.  Why didn't he patch her up?  Oh well I'll patch her up myself.  As soon as I can find my bag...Ah here it is.  I grabbed my bag, opened it up,and pulled out my medical kit.  I followed Alice's advice for when she had me help her with the bullet in her arm.  I cleaned the wound with water.  Then I stitched it up. I rolled up her sleeves, and saw that the other arm was bandaged up.  I unraveled the bandage, and saw a new word had been added. "Useless".  How can she say that about herself. I heard stirring in the seat in front of me, so I quickly wrapped Alice's arm up and pulled her sleeves down. Emma had woken up.
    "Hey." She whispered as she crawled in the back with me.
    "Hey how are you feeling?"  Her head is still bleeding I should probably help her.
    "Okay I guess.  Christopher is still out."  I can see why though.
    "Here let me fix up your head."  I did the same thing that I did for Alice's cuts.
    "How's Alice doing?  I figured she would be the one to be awake through all of this."
    "She has been through a lot. She just needs rest I think."  Maybe I should tell Emma about her adopted parents.
    "So what did you guys find in Alice's house?"  Man I might start crying.
    "Alice's parents are dead.  We both saw them.  I feel so bad.  She shouldn't have to deal with all of this."
    "Yea well we have time to chill, so you want to play a card game?  I kind of took them from your house."  Emma took something.  Wow.  I can't believe Emma did that.  I just burst out laughing being conscious not to wake Christopher or Alice up.
    "Sure... let's play 1 for 1 black."  So we played card games for a while until I heard some stirring from Alice.  She finally had woken up.
