Decisions

The next morning, you awake with a jolt from the ship. You shiver slightly, feeling the frigid floor underneath you and the side of your face all... wet. As you sit up, you realize you drooled in your sleep.

"Running from the law, caught in a strange ship by strange space-travelers... and I still drool while I sleep," you mutter as you wipe your face on your sleeve. You take a moment to stretch and rub your eyes before you begin to examine your prison. It's unlike any holding cell you've seen before, with seemingly no doors or cameras to monitor you.
"Are they truly that idiotic as to leave me unsupervised?" You ask yourself with a slight shake of your head and a growing smirk. "I may be out before dinner."

While you pace around your prison, Donnie watches you from the cleverly hidden, mini cameras; made by yours truly.

"What's she up to, Don?" Raphael asks as he looks over his brother's shoulder.

"She just woke up, wiped off the drool on her face... now she's looking around," Donnie replies while typing on the keyboard. "Galactic facial-recognition has no matches for her, yet... It still has 24 hours to finish."

"Yeesh..." Raph sighs and lean on the wall. "So we have absolutely nothing on her?" He looks to the Fugitoid at the ship's controls.

"I am afraid so, Raphael. She supposedly does not exist." The Professor sighs as he taps several buttons. "She must've hired one of the five greatest geniuses in the galaxy to wipe away her records!" He says with skepticism.

Donnie spins around in his chair with a look of wonder and excitement.
"Five greatest geniuses in the galaxy?" He repeats.

"You can look into that later, Don. Focus on the task at hand," Leo speaks firmly, looking out at the vastness of space.

Donnie nods reluctantly and turns back to his work, then spins back around to the Professor slowly.
"Professor, if it's so impossible to erase all information about someone, could it be possible she didn't have any records in the first place?" He inquires with a small shrug.

"No, no, I don't believe so... Lumina Stellar has a very tedious, precise system. Immediately after a child is born their fingerprints are taken and placed in The House of Generations, pictures are taken, a large ceremony is thrown by the King and Queen themselves for the new family... wait a moment!" The Professor's eye-screens appear alarmed as he types furiously. A picture of the King and Queen appears where Leonardo was once stargazing, and everyone gasps in shock. Not only do you share many of your facial features with these two striking individuals, but they themselves are a breathtaking sight; moonlight pale skin, silky, silver hair, bright, soul-piercing eyes and smiles that seem to tell a story all by themselves. The group seems hypnotized until the Professor speaks again.
"I knew she looked familiar, she looks just like her mother!" The Fugitoid exclaims with a pleased tone. "Our prisoner is none other than the princess of Lumina Stellar!"

All eyes go wide as they realize who they are staring at, and how this new information changes quite a few things.

"What??" The turtles and April exclaim all at once.

"Cool!" Casey grins as he looks up at the picture of your mother and father.

"Wait..." Mikey speaks up with an amazed look in his eyes. "She's a princess... we're in space... WHAT IF SHE'S PRINCESS LEIA!?" He squeals and slaps his hands on his cheeks, his eyes impossibly wide.

Donnie gapes at Mikey for a few moments before shaking his head.
"That is very improbable, since she was only being chased by her home planet's army force, not a galaxy wide law force. And even if your theory were correct, who would be Luke? Or Han? Where's C3P0 and R2D2?" He probes Mikey with his arms crossed and his brow raised.

Michelangelo stutters out a few weak answers before pouting, having no solid answers to his questions.
"Gee, thanks for destroying my dream of playing a part in the Rebellion.." he mumbles like a small child and sits down, defeated by Donnie's logic.

"Enough!" Leo shakes his head at the two. "So, she's the princess. That changes some things.." he sighs, tapping his chin. "If she's the princess, why is she being hunted by her own planet?"

"And what is she doing so far from Lumina Stellar?" The Professor adds to Leo's questions as his eye-screens show a frown. "Her birthday passed several days ago and there has been no world wide celebration, which is extremely odd. Furthermore, all other celebrations on Lumina Stellar have been cancelled in the past month... something isn't right."

Raphael looks at the picture.
"This seems pretty serious. Maybe we should go back down and ask her some more questions," he suggests while taking a glimpse at everyone.

Donnie agrees with a bob of his head and turns back to the cameras watching you, expecting to see you lounging about or still searching your cell. Suddenly, a high-pitched, appalled shriek escapes his mouth as he turns back to the startled group.
"She's gone!" He shouts, clearly panicked.

Everyone swarms around the monitor, and sure enough; you are nowhere to be seen.
