Dead-Zone 5

About a week after you confessed your true identity and mission, the Hamato clan came to the decision to help you to the best of their abilities. As of this moment, they're flying to Dead-Zone 5. According to you, several of your parent's allies have been banished there for minor acts of aggression.

"So, exactly what kind of 'acts of aggression' did these guys commit?" Raphael asks with a raised brow, suspicion seeping into his voice.

"Simple drunken foolery," you reply, pulling on the silver gloves that match the space suit Professor Honeycutt created for you. "Dead-Zone 5 isn't as harsh as the title sounds. You'll see." You glance at him and reveal a half smile, strapping on your boots before striding out to the Control Room.

As hard as Raph tries to fight it, he can't help staring. The suit perfectly hugs your figure, and he has a great view of your butt as you walk away. His cheeks begin to crimson as his eyes scan over your body in a slightly perverted manner, and he quickly tears his eyes away, shaking his head.
"C'mon, Raph, head in the game. You're never gonna see her again after all this, so don't get to friendly..." He orders himself, walking to the Control Room after you. When he enters, he's greeted with a jaw-dropping sight: Dead-Zone 5.

"Magnificent, isn't it?" You smile as the room falls silent with awe. "My mother used to tell me a story about this Dead-Zone... It is rumored that long ago, in the younger years of time, there was a great battle here. Blood spilled on both sides, bodies left to float in space," you step closer to the screen, staring out at the Dead-Zone with the others. "The bodies became stars... space ships abandoned by their crew became the traveling planets... orbiting nothing, or on rare occasions, each other. A thousand stories revolve around each planet, each star claimed by this Dead-Zone. At first it was a prison for the worst of the worst, but then it grew; it blossomed into a sanctuary. A retreat for those in need of peace." You sigh with awe. "The population number grows with each cycle. Last planetary orbit, it was 4,000, now it is 10,000."

Donatello stares at Dead-Zone 5 with an amazed smile.
"It's beautiful.." he mutters.

"If it's a sanctuary, why are your friends here?" Raph asks you, crossing his arms.

"They had the choice of alcoholic detention, or community service here. This is what they chose," you explain.

"Ah, Dead-Zone 5 is one of the most stunning Dead-Zones in the galaxy," The Professor remarks, directing the ship to land on the nearest planet. "Here we are, the 54th planet in Dead-Zone 5: Lune-Mond!" He announces, strolling to the cargo bay. "No need for your helmets, the air is breathable!" He says.
The others nod and follow behind him in no particular order, studying their surroundings.

The landscape is mostly jungle-like, with tall, twisting trees, thick vines wrapped around trunks and latched around branches, rays of light from the many stars and moons in the sky above shining through the canopy of leaves. The chattering of wildlife is all the group can hear besides their own breathing. Everything is serene and peaceful, until...

"OH MY GOD WHAT THE SHELL IS THAT!?!" Raph screeches when a giant beetle walks by.

"A Jaba-jab," you reply calmly, watching it waddle into the bushes. "A prenatal one at that." You add, glancing over your shoulder at the mostly horrified faces. Donatello and the Fugitoid are the only ones struck with wonder at the titan of an insect.

"What does prenatal mean...?" Mikey inquires hesitantly, staring at the bushes where the 'Jaba-jab' waddled out of sight.

"Pregnant," Donnie answers, scanning a tree with his staff. "Incredible.." he mutters, in total awe of this new and amazing planet.

"Come along, we have quite a distance to travel, Hamatos," The Professor reminds them, following you through the trees. While still a tad shocked at the large bugs crawling in this alien jungle, they swiftly follow you and The Professor through the jungle. After a while of hiking, you abruptly take out a small, silver stick from your belt that hangs loosely around your hips. As a bright, white light sprouts up from the end, Mikey gasps.

"LIGHT SABER!!" He squeals, clapping his hands.

"Pardon?" Both you and The Professor ask simultaneously.

"This is a simply laser blade, to cut the vines," you illustrate, doing just so.

"No, that's a light saber!" Donnie insists, grinning. "It even makes the 'voom! Vwfoom' sound!"

Raphael rolls his eyes at his brothers. Even Leo and Casey are grinning like dorks.
"Nerds," he mutters, watching you slice away the vines, then return your laser blade to your belt.

"Everyone ready?" You ask, taking hold of a strong, thick vine as you observe the others.

"Ready? Ready for what?" Leonardo queries, his eyes widening when you run through the shrub, revealing the cliff ahead. The others rush to the edge of the overhang and watch as you Tarzan-swing to the other side.

"Nu-uh! Nope! No, nada, no way in he—" Raph starts, walking away. Donnie grabs him by the belt and pulls him back.

"Why, you scared?" He smirks, challenging his hotheaded brother.

With a competitive growl, Raphael marches forward and grabs a vine. He stares at the drop off and gulps softly.
'That's very deep...' he thinks, daring a glance down and deeply regretting it. This was nowhere near the rooftops of New York. With a heavy sigh, he takes a step back, runs and jumps off the cliff. He holds back a terrified scream as he swings over the gorge, curled up into a frightened ball. When he sees you standing on the other side, watching, he takes a large breath and lets go, jumping down and rolling forward in the grass with an "oof".

You chuckle softly.
"Rough, sloppy, but amusing," you remark with a slight smirk.

"Oh, shut up," he huffs, rolling his eyes as he stands and dusts himself off.

The others swing over with shouts and shrieks of enjoyment and excitement. Mikey lands with a mid-air flip and a laugh, smiling widely.
"That was awesome!" He cheers, jumping around happily.

Leo laughs as he lands in the long, soft, mellow green grass with Donnie.
"I agree! I would totally do that again!" He grins.

You smile at the merry group before you, when a small nudge at your leg prompts you to look down. You raise an eyebrow at the small, grey, lizard-like creature cuddling your ankle, and cautiously scoop it up. It immediately snuggles into your chest and chirps adorably.

Michelangelo gasps and rushes over to you, frightening the creature and causing it's spiked tail to coil around your forearm.
"Is that a baby dragon??" He squeals softly, peering at it with wide, astonished eyes.

"This is a Vee-chee," you answer, stroking its head and watching its spikes smooth back as it chirps again. "Very rare to find it out alone in the jungle, especially this deep," you mumble. The Vee-chee's small, gray wings flutter as it squeaks and chirps up at you, its chest glowing and pulsing like a live ember.

"It's so cute!" Mikey grins, copying the way you pet it.

Everyone jumps into high alert when a large being crashes through the bushes. The Vee-chee shrieks and hides his snout in your armpit, shaking with fear. You all watch with keenness as the shrubbery shakes and branches snap, leaping back when a purple skinned alien tumbles through the jungle into the clearing. Donnie takes a hesitant step forward as he observes the being; face down in the grass and shoulders shaking. Suddenly, a booming, jolly laugh arises from his throat as he rolls over to his back.

"Farję!" You exclaim, running to his side with a wide grin.

"Princess!" A gaily grin plays at his plump lips, his electric blue eyes alight with surprise and joy. He sits up, brushing off dirt and leaves off his jacket, then leaps to his feet and holds your shoulders as he scans over you. "My my, how you have grown!" He plants a swift kiss to your lips and hugs you. "Do'chehan verchel'ka!"

You laugh softly and return the hug, glancing at the others with their wildly confused faces.
"This is Farję, an old friend of my family," you explain, smiling.

Farję struts toward Donatello and raises his brow as he stares with an amused grin.
"A kindred soul! You wear the light of my people!" He exclaims before wrapping the tallest ninja turtle in a tight hug.

"H-hello," Donnie squeaks, tensing up.

Mikey snickers.
"Boy, he really likes you," he remarks.

Donnie stumbles a bit when Farję abruptly releases him, and clears his throat.
"Erm, h-hello, I'm Donatello," he says, fixing his mask from its crooked state.

"Donatello, such a unique name!" Farję smiles warmly. "You've made so many new friends, little Y/n! Your parents must be pleased!"

The once cheerful air surrounding you diminishes as your eyes turn down to the ground.
"How I wish it was so.." you mutter sorrowfully. "Diana has risen and taken the kingdom.. I have traveled here to ask of you and Sewcen's assistance."

Solemnity does not bear well on Farję's face. Everyone unexpectedly feels extremely uncomfortable, the whole mood shifts drastically.

"Come, my princess. Let us discuss this in a more private area," he speaks at last, taking your gloved hand in both of his large purple ones. You nod gravely, holding the Vee-chee close to your chest as your strange group follows him into the jungle.
