Caught

Two large, sapphire blue eyes gaze at you with surprise, and then slam the cabinet door in your face, leaving you stunned in the dark. You listen closely as a conversation arises.

"There's a girl in there!" Leo hisses, clearly shocked at this new development.

Raph walks closer and peeks in. You blink as startling green eyes gawk at you, then darkness floods your eyesight once more.

"That's that girl from the port! The one those soldiers were asking about!" Raph reveals, his eyes also expanding in alarm.

"How'd she get in here??" Mikey queries, appearing confused.

"I dunno.. She must've slipped in at some point before we left.." Raph shrugs.

Leo knits his brow in thought, glancing at the cabinet door.
"Ok, here's what we'll do: Mikey, go get Donnie, and tell him to bring something to knock her out. Once he's here, Raph, you grab her and we'll put her.. Somewhere." Leo orders, observing Mikey nod and run out, leaving the two brothers to wait for him to return with Donnie.

In the meantime, you crawl as deep as possible into the cabinet, overhearing their plans and determined to stop them. If they succeed and return you to your home world, everyone and everything would surely be doomed. In your mission, failure is not an option.
Shaking your head to clear your mind of these terrifying thoughts, you feel the soft towels and blankets beneath you, and cautiously feel for the back wall. Sooner than you expected, the door opens and light rushes into your cramped hiding place. You turn and observe the electric green eyes from before, along with a strange looking chest plate and emerald green legs. Your heart begins racing as an emerald green hand reaches in for you. At first instinct, you kick it, and it retracts as you catch a sudden gasp, followed by an aggravated growl. The hand returns, taking grasp of your ankle and dragging you out. Despite your fervent kicking and clinging to the door, he takes a hold of your other ankle and another pair of arms seize your arms. You squirm and shout and flail your arms to no avail, and following sharp pain to your neck, you pass out.

You jolt awake in what seems like mere moments later, lying on a table within a holding cell. Standing on the other side of a transparent wall are four mutant terrapins, two humans and the android you snuck past at the Mos Eisley-esque spaceport. Gradually, you stand and grip the table for support, feeling wobbly as what you assume are drugs wear off.

"Scan complete," the robot pronounces, holding a small tablet in his hand. You glare at the ridiculous looking group, watching one mutant step forward, donned in a cobalt mask.

"What's your name, miss?" He asks somberly, eyeing you carefully and cautiously.

"Not of importance," you reply guardedly, crossing your arms once you're confident you won't fall over.

He grimaces as he observes you closely. Guarded stature, cold tone, averting eyes; you were hiding something more than your identity.
"Miss, we won't hurt you. We simply want to know who you are, and why you're on our ship," he speaks with a kind and warm tone, hoping to provide you with a sense of comfort and entice you to answer.

You reply with silence. You're no fool. If you comply, they will return you to Lumina Stellar, to the now corrupt army pursuing you, and you will perish in your own prison cells with your mother and father. You cannot let that happen, you will not.

With a heavy exhale, your interrogator turns to the android.
"What did you find, Professor?" He inquires.

"Well, even without the scans it is clear she is a genuine Star-Dweller. Silver hair, pale complexion, bright eyes, strong build, etc. etc..." the Professor trails off as his eye-screens shape a frown. "However, she seems to not exist in the slightest, which is impossible." He speaks with skepticism.

"Perhaps she had a associate," the mutant clad in purple speaks up, shrugging his shoulders.

You snort softly.
"I work alone," you declare arrogantly.

The mutant in orange glances at the male human with a tickled expression, and the human returns a knowing grin.

The others ignore the two as they study you.

"Why'd you sneak onto our ship?" The mutant in red, Raph, queries.

"I deemed it the best to stowaway in," you scowl at him. "It looks as if I was incorrect."

"Ya think?" He jeers. "You're pretty new at this fugitive stuff, huh?"

You drop your gaze downward, increasing your grip on your forearm.
"I did not choose to be wanted by the law.." you mutter woefully.

They all seem puzzled at this, staying silent. After several moments, the so-called Professor speaks up.

"Well, it is growing rather late.. Young adolescences like yourselves should attain 8-12 hours of sleep, yes?" He notes with his hands clasped together.

The one in blue, Leo, you believe, nods.
"You're right Professor. Let's get some rest, guys," he agrees, glancing at his companions. One by one, they shuffle towards the exit, with 'Raph' being the last to remain. He examines you with narrowed eyes, studying you closely, scrutinizing every detail of your appearance, stature, stare, then releases a sharp breath of defeat and strides out.

You sit in the center of your cell and heave a deep sigh.

Things are not going according to plan.
