I finally got Sophia to finish her broth, and I was sitting behind her massaging her belly when Hobi hyung burst into the room. He closed the door and locked it, turning to us looking panicked. Sophia sat forward with a groan, and I pulled her back. "Relax Love... Hyung? What's the matter?"

"Uh... No easy way to tell you this... Lee Ha-eun is here. She wants Sophia..."

I feel her jerk up and cry out from the pain it brought her. I sat forward holding her trembling frame and looked at Hyung who was clearly panicking.

"Hyung... She can't have her. I will go and get rid of her... Stay with Sophia."

I got up, but a steel grip held my arm before I could move away. I looked at her wide eyes that were full of fear. I put a knee on the bed to lower my face to get into eye contact with her. "Love... Breathe... Hobi hyung will stay with you. I will handle Ha-eun. Please. Trust me..."

She let go but kept her hand outstretched like she wanted me to come back. I've never asked her for details, but I know enough of what they've done to her to never allow them near her again. I pull out my phone and as I walk towards the entrance, I call my father. I pause listening to Ha-eun threatening Jimin with the police repeatedly, while I wait for my Dad to answer.

I hung up with him and walked to the group in front of my door.

"Excuse me. This is my home, and I do not recall inviting you in. You need to leave, right now."

Ha-eun looked at me with some confusion, but stood her ground. I can see she has the guardianship papers with her, but I pay no mind.

"I'm sorry to disturb your home sir, but I'm here for my daughter, Kim Sophia. Could you bring her to me?"

I chuckled and raised my eyebrow at her...

"I'm also sorry Madam... Your 'daughter' has no interest in accompanying you at this time. As she is a guest here, I have to abide by her wishes. Please leave. You can try again tomorrow after she's had some rest."

Her mask crumbled... "Who the hell are you to keep her away from me?"

"How rude of me... I'm Jeon Jungkook. Sophia is to be my wife soon, and is carrying the heir to Jeon Corp. Now, I'll ask you again, nicely, to leave. She's not feeling well and needs rest. Please leave."

Ha-eun turned a brilliant shade of red and started screaming at me.

"BRING HER TO ME! SHE WILL NOT MARRY YOU, OR ANYONE ELSE, WITHOUT MY SAY SO! THAT BASTARD SHE'S CARRYING COULD BE ANYONES! EVEN MR. PARK COULD BE THE FATHER! GET HER OUT HERE, RIGHT NOW!!"

I see flashing lights in my driveway, meaning the police are here. I still take predatory steps towards this bitch. I'm held back by Taehyung and Yoongi before I could choke the life from her. Before I know it, the police are in my home and Ha-eun is handing them the guardianship papers.

"Mr. Jeon. Is Kim Sophia here on the premises?"

"No... She's not." I feel Yoongi hyung squeezing my arm, but I glare at the police officer and Ha-eun.

"He's lying officer. He confirmed just a few minutes ago that she's here. I demand you search for her!"

"Mr. Jeon... Do not make this more difficult by lying to us. If she's here, I need you to bring her down. This woman has the right paperwork, and you need to allow her to take Miss Kim home."

"NOOOOO!!! SHE'S A MONSTER!! Fucking drugging and beating her own child... She'll hurt her... I WON'T LET YOU TAKE HER!!"

"Jungkook, enough... Officer... My name is Kim Taehyung. I am an attorney for Jeon Corp and Jeon Jungkook. If you will allow me, I will ride with Kim Sophia along with her nurse. She's not feeling well, and the health of Baby and Mother, need to be monitored."

"No way! I will take care of my own daughter." Ha-eun spit her words out, but the police officer was feeling that there was truth in mine and Taehyung's words.

"Are you a Dr or nurse ma'am? If not, then I will allow this lawyer, and Miss Kim's nurse to ride with her. If you don't have room, then I can transport them in my car."

Ha-eun was not pleased, but could not argue without looking like the crazy person she really is. I'll have 3 hours to get her back... Hopefully my Father has been able to think of something.

"Officer... Is there nothing more we can do? Kim Sophia does not want to go with this woman." I asked while fighting back tears.

"I'm sorry Mr. Jeon. She's legally in the custody of Lee Ha-eun and Lee Ju-won. She'll have to go. But her nurse, and your attorney, can accompany her as far as the Lee household."

I knew this officer. He was a childhood friend, and I can see he wants to do more, but his hands are tied. He's already overstepping by allowing Taehyung hyung and Hobi hyung to ride with her. I hang my head and turn to walk and get my love.

When I open the door to the room, Sophia looks at me with hope, but seeing my slumped shoulders, she knows I was too weak. Again, I've failed her. No wonder she keeps running away from me...

"Hobi hyung... Can I have a few minutes with Sophia?" My voice is small and shaky. Hobi hyung gets up and giving me an encouraging smile and pat on the back, leaves us alone. I can't meet her eyes because I know they hold fear that I can't do anything about.

"I'm sorry Sophia... I..." I burst into tears and ran to her hugging her tightly. I felt so useless. How could I fix this? She was shaking in my arms...

"Jungkook... I know you tried. I understand. When do I have to leave?"

"Noooo... I can't let you go... I don't care. I'll go out there and kill that bitch right now. I won't let her hurt you anymore. I promised..."

"Stop that... Don't say that Jungkook. I will just run away again at the first chance I get..."

"Please Love... Don't give up on me... I WILL find a way. I told my father and he has his lawyers working on it... He's going to reach out to try to make an arrangement for us. I wanted to propose when you were ready, but if this is the only way..."

"I don't need an arrangement to marry you Jeon Jungkook. I believe in you. I will wait for as long as it takes... I'll fight against them to protect aegi. I won't let them hurt our baby."

I hugged her as tightly as I could. I let her know that Taehyung and Hobi would be riding with her to Seoul. And I'm going to follow in my car to be in the same city. She seemed blank and sadly resigned for now.

"Let's get this over with then. Help me get up Jungkook."

I brought her to standing and locked our lips in a desperate kiss. I didn't want it to end. It's only been 3 fucking days... It's not enough. I ran to my room and came back with my favorite hoodie to put on her small frame. I wanted her to have me with her in any way possible. She smiled lifting it to inhale the scent it held. I had just worn it the other day, so it had my cologne and body scents on it which she says calms her. She handed me the keys to her apartment room to clear it out and not cost the owner money not being able to rent it out.

We kissed again and clutched onto each other. I rubbed her belly and bent to kiss it. A knock on the door made her tremble, and both of our tears flow. Namjoon hyung poked his head in and smiled sadly at us.

"I'm sorry... We have to bring her down Jungkook. If we don't, the officer will arrest you, and Tae and Hobi won't be allowed to accompany her." I nodded, but hugged her to me. She patted my back and kissed my neck.

"Come on Jungkook... We have to go. I don't want you in jail. You can't help me from there... I believe in you Jungkook. I believe in us... I love you."

"I love you so much Kim Sophia! I will bring you home soon. Please be safe..."

She took my hand in hers and we followed Namjoon hyung downstairs to meet her worst nightmare. She's was lost in her own mind, when she came before Ha-eun. I watched that woman who is her mother, look at my love like she was a piece of trash. Sophia bowed to Ha-eun, and I pulled her up. I whispered to her for one last time.

"don't forget that i love you and aegi. no matter what happens, i will love you, and only you... forever..."

She smiled at me and letting Taehyung take her hand, she walked out of my house...

I couldn't handle it... I almost collapsed, but Jimin grabbed me. He told me we're going to figure it out. I pray he's right. I am planning murder in my head right now.

"Come on Kook... Let's get to the car and follow. I'll call my Dad, and you call yours. We've got a little less than 3 hours... We need to go."

The other guys are all getting ready to follow also, so we take off. I call my secretary and cancel any meetings for the rest of the week in Busan. Trying to focus on driving, I get on the road and hope she's alright.

Hoseok

As soon as Jungkook left us to go and try to deal with Ha-eun, Sophia completely broke down. I did my best to comfort her, but she is clearly terrified. I kept an eye on her vitals and told her how much she means to Jungkook. After a few minutes when he didn't return her demeanor changed drastically.

"Hobi... Promise me something?"

"Anything..."

"Promise me that you'll keep Jungkook safe. If something happens to me, he'll have to get the baby from them. He's the father, so they can't keep him away."

Looking at her blank, resigned face, my heart broke. She knows that Ha-eun is going to succeed in taking her. She's thinking only of Jungkook and her baby, with no hope left for herself.

"I promise I'll do everything in my power to help Jungkook. I will fight with him to get you back."

"Don't worry about me... The only things I want protected are Jungkook and our baby. If he pushes the Lee's too hard, they'll take it out on me and, the baby... So he really needs to be calm and think things through... You know he's not the best at that... I love him so much Hobi. I can get through anything if he is alright, and can be a good father for aegi..."

I agree to her conditions, but don't plan to let her suffer either. My friends are the children of some of the most powerful people in South Korea. I don't see how the Lee's can hold up against them if they work together. I don't tell Sophia this, but just continue to reassure her that somehow it will be alright. Even if not today... eventually.

Jungkook comes back and we know immediately that he couldn't stop Ha-eun. He asks for a few minutes so I leave them alone. I run to the front to see my friends looking murderous. They're smart people though, so they're silent while each of them plans ways to get our newest friend free from her hell. Yoongi approaches me and facing away from Ha-eun speaks quietly.

"you and tae are going to ride with sophia to seoul. we'll all be right behind. i've got my dad ready to do whatever he can. i think jungkook contacted his father also. jimin's dad loves sophia, so he'll be working too. you and tae need to keep sophia calm."

I nod at him and get ready to do anything I can. My parents aren't powerful like these friends, but they're not weak either. I'm sure they'd stand up if it's needed. It's just so hard to understand how life has been so unfair to this one girl. We have to find a way to help her...

I see Sophia and Jungkook coming and I can tell he's about to break. She looks stoic, but pale like before. I move to stand by Taehyung and he shares a look of frustration with me. I see Sophia bow to Ha-eun, and Jungkook pull her back up. The way her 'mother' looks at her gives me chills. Does this woman care at all for a child she gave birth to?

Taehyung takes Sophia's hand and leads her out of the house. We get in the car, with me and Tae on either side of her. She leans her head towards Taehyung and he pulls her head to rest on his shoulder.

"Already replacing that Jeon guy with the next warm male body... Tch..." My eyes must be saucers, and I have to clamp my mouth shut. How dare she?

"Ma'am... She's not feeling well. I'm just offering a place to rest her head for the long ride. And... That "Jeon guy" is not only like a brother to me, but the father of her baby. I'll do whatever I can to keep her comfortable. Is there an issue you have?"

"Since you asked Mr. Kim... I have many issues with the behavior of my wayward daughter. None of which are your business. When we get to Seoul I'll happily see you off, and hope to never set eyes on you again."

I placed my hand on Sophia's wrist to find her pulse racing. I can feel her panic and I can't help but speak up.

"Excuse me? Mrs Lee? Could we stop at a rest area for Sophia to get a bathroom break. I'd like to find her something warm to drink as well." I smile as earnestly as I can hoping for a positive outcome.

"You work in my hospital, right?"

"Yes ma'am. I'm a maternity surgical nurse. Sophia has been suffering some dehydration issues, so a stop would be helpful."

"What's your name?"

"Jung Hoseok ma'am."

"Alright Mr. Jung... We'll stop. But no funny business if you value your job."

I just nod and squeeze Sophia's wrist. I need her to remain as calm as possible if we're going to milk the time at the stop. I want to make some calls to find out what's happening, and maybe give her some hope.

Sophia

I'm glad that I had 3 days to love Jungkook again. My heart feels full because I know he loves me, and will care for our child. I don't think I'll make it out of this, and I'm sad to not be around to love Jungkook and aegi. I am sitting with my head on Tae's shoulder, praying to my Dad for strength. I know he's disappointed and angry at the woman he once loved. The woman who gave him a child and he loved with every fiber of his being.

I feel blessed every day when I think of my childhood. My mother may have changed and become an unrecognizable demon, but the love my father and grandparents gave me was enough for me to recognize goodness in people. I know that Jungkook will be the best Dad. He'll make sure our baby is safe and loved... Aegi will never want for anything with Jungkook around.

When Hobi shakes my shoulder, I panic thinking we're already in Seoul. He calms me quickly though and tells me we're at a rest area, where we're going to take some time... He emphasizes taking time, so I know he needs me to play up my being sick... It won't be hard though. I'm feeling really crummy.

We enter the rest area, but Taehyung stays by the car making calls. Ha-eun seems to trust Hobi with me. It makes me question a little if he's on her side... Why would she trust him? Then I think of how he is with me, and I stop my thoughts. I'm beyond paranoid at this point.

I see Ha-eun is looking at me all smug and it scares me. I've tried not to care that she hates me... but to see her looking at my belly with disgust makes me scared. I will fight her though... I've always been weak in protecting myself, but I'll kill her before she can harm my baby.

When Hobi and I enter the family bathroom, he pulls me into a hug and I sob... I feel my breathing is labored, and I'm panicking. How do I do this? I've forgotten how this feels to be scared of everything.

"Shhhh... Sophia-ah... You're strong. You're going to be alright. I want you to calm down and take your time in the bathroom. I'm going to make a few calls to find out what is going on. Ok? Relax and take long."

I enter the single stall and sit down. I close my eyes and take deep breaths to not let my anxiety rule me. I feel nauseous, but I refuse to throw up. It hurts my baby and deprives me of strength I'm going to need.

I hear Hobi's quiet voice talking on the phone and I feel a little better. He's asking what the plan is, and that gives me a glimmer of hope that they're going to get me out of this. After a while, I come out and wash my face. Hobi hugs me and reassures me that all the guys have ideas on what to do. I'm a little nervous, because ideas aren't solutions...

"Ok.. 'So'... I need you to look as pathetic as possible. You need to look miserable and like you're weak. I don't want to hear bullshit about how your are those things either... We just need about 30 more minutes here so the guys can get ahead of us. Ok?"

I try not to giggle at his pep-talk, and nod. I love how he's given me a little nickname too. 'So' is something my grandad used to call me. When he says it, I feel my grandad's presence, and it reassures me that they're still with me.

We leave the bathroom, and I see Ha-eun watching. Hobi puts his arm around my waist to support me, and walk me to the food court. I sit at a table, and he walks to buy me a cup of soup and some hot tea. Ha-eun sits down with me while I'm alone, and I try not to shake.

"I hope you had fun on your little vacation. If you think you're ever going to see your baby daddy again, you're mistaken. If that bastard even survives, I'm giving it away to an orphanage and you'll be married off to the first person who will accept you... In the meantime... get ready, because you've forgotten who is in charge, and I'm going to enjoy reminding you..."

I see Hobi coming and Ha-eun puts on a friendly face and let's him sit to give me the food and tea he brought. I can't even look at him because I'm sure I'll break down. I'm convinced her plan is to kill my baby and I hope that I'll be strong enough to stop her.

"Hey... So?? Are you alright? What did she say to you?" All I can do is shake my head and look down. I think about what Ha-eun said, and mentally prepare to be abused. Any hope I had that someone might be able to stop what's about to happen is gone. Ha-eun will do everything in her power to remind me I'm worthless... Even if it means killing my baby...

I'm trembling and a few tears escape my eyes. I wipe them away and continue to try and eat the soup Hobi brought to me. Before long I end up rushing back to the bathroom to throw it up as my panic takes over my mind. Jungkook please help me!

I left the bathroom and walked outside to get some fresh air. I looked around and realized I was on the other side of the building from where we entered. I see a family leaving and the thought hits me to ask them for help. I walk towards them, looking all around in paranoia. Not knowing what I can even ask them, I paused. I open my mouth to speak and a van comes to a screeching halt in front of me, cutting me off from the life line I was about to grab.

The door slides open and a man who looks vaguely familiar grabs me. I squeal as he pulls me into the van. I try to push him away, but he's strong. The van door slides shut and takes off causing me to fall onto the floor of the speeding vehicle. I try to get up, but the man holds me down. He's coming at me with a syringe in his hand, and before I know what's happening I feel a sting in my neck. "Good night sweetheart" was the last thing I heard before darkness took me.

Taehyung

I've been on the phone with Jungkook, and then his father. Jungkook sounds scared, and I wish I knew what to do to fix this. His father has already spoken to Lee Ju-won. They've agreed to meet first thing tomorrow to discuss an arrangement for their children. Ju-won may be married to an absolute psycho, but he has always been focused on the money. If he can get the right price, he'll give Sophia up.

Jimin and his father have been speaking to the American court who gave the guardianship to the Lee's. They are trying to get it transferred to Jungkook, or at least Jeon Jung-hoon. They may be having some luck there as well. The judge they've been speaking to is sympathetic to the couple who are expecting their first child. If we can get a sworn statement from Sophia about the abuse, the guardianship should be turned over. Getting Sophia alone with someone who can take such a statement is the problem...

I am standing by the car waiting for everyone, when a van drives by at an unsafe speed, almost hitting a father and son as they try to get to their car. What the fuck is wrong with some people? I ask the Father if they are okay, and he nods, bowing to me for my concern. I watch him pick up his young son to have him in his arms. This makes me think of Jungkook, and I can't help but smile.

Lee Ha-eun approaches with her driver, and they're looking around everywhere. I look past her trying to see Hobi hyung and Sophia, but they're nowhere. Is Sophia sick again? I don't like this at all...

"Where is she? Kim Taehyung if you have had something to do with this, I will make sure you can't represent a flea!" I hear Ha-eun's words, but still don't understand what is happening.

"Madam... What are you talking about? I've been here by the car the whole time. Where is Hoseok hyung and Sophia?"

"Your hyung is with the police inside. He's trying to explain how he lost a 6 months pregnant girl... Some bullshit about being hit on the head..."

"WHAT?!? Is he alright? Where is Sophia? Why aren't YOU speaking to the police madam? We have to find her!"

I get a sick feeling in my gut at her calm demeanor. She just shrugs her shoulder at me like she could care less...

"I already gave my statement. My people have been notified, and they will be searching for her. She won't get away for long. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be leaving. You and Mr. Jung will have to find your own way from here as my daughter is no longer with us to require your presence."

I watch her get in the car like she doesn't have a care in the world. I run into the building to find Hyung talking to some police officers and rubbing the back of his head. I sprinted to them concerned...

"Hyung... What happened? Are you alright?"

Hobi hyung turns to me and I see his teary eyes, which is never good.

"Taehyung! Someone hit me over the head and dragged me away from where I was watching for Sophia to come out of the bathroom... I don't know where she is! We have to find her Tae!!! She's in a dangerous condition!!"

I put my arm around my crying hyung, and asked the officers if they needed any more from us. They said we were free to go. As I started to walk away, I remembered the van...

"Officers! I was outside when this happened. There was a van!!! It was driving really fast and almost hit a family before my eyes. Can you check the CCTV for the parking lots?"

They shared a look I didn't understand, but agreed to do it. Nothing about this situation feels right! I follow them to the security office and they try to block me. I tell the security guard who I am, and who my boss is. That gains me access. Noone would dare screw with Jeon Corp if they can help it.

The security footage shows Sophia walking out of the building. She had definitely been crying, and looked weak. It seemed she was going to talk to a family, when that van pulled in front of her and someone grabbed her, pulling her inside. No wonder it sped through the parking lot like that!

"I'm going to need a copy of this. My boss will want his investigators working on it."

The police men tried to object and say it's their matter, but the security guard is intimidated by the thought of Jeon Jungkook not getting his way. I take the copy and with Hobi hyung we head outside.

"Something is off about this whole thing Hyung... Ha-eun seemed almost calm. She didn't freak out, or accuse us... Do you think she is behind this?"

Hobi hyung's eyes go wide at the thought.

"Tae... That woman is evil... If she did this... We HAVE to find her!!"

I take out my phone and call Yoongi hyung. He's got the best team of investigators, so he needs to be on this right away. He's turning around to come and pick us up with Namjoon hyung. Noone wants to call Jungkook... But I guess I have to...

Jungkook... She's gone. Someone bashed Hobi hyung over the head and then a van grabbed her up.

I hung up even though he was still screaming about murdering Ha-eun. I can't hear it in case he actually does it...

I'm so thirsty... I try to move, but I can't. I feel like I'm paralyzed... I hear voices getting closer, but my eyes won't open. What is happening to me? Is my baby okay?

"Ma'am... She has been given the injection you requested. She won't be able to move."

"She'll feel everything though, right?"

"Yes ma'am... What are we going to do with her? She's pregnant..."

"You think I'm stupid and don't see that? Now, hook up the IV. I want her kept like this."

"Yes ma'am... May I know for how long?"

"Until I am satisfied she's learned her lesson. Now, No more questions!!"

Ha-eun... She's going to kill my baby. I can't even fight her like this...
