"Are we nearly there yet?" Jimin whines as you all trudge along the forest path, melted crunching under your feet as you step close and closer to the opening only the lake.

"Nearly!" Jade shouts back as she tries to pull up be back pack again struggling to walk with all the weight of it.

You just walk behind with Hoseok carrying a blanket with him carrying a chair.

You begin to wonder and your mind drifts off to why Yoongi is avoiding you...it hurt what he said before and you just can't settle with it.

"Hoseok..." you ask your eyes glued onto Yoongi who walks a little ahead of you.

"Yes?" He happily grins answering you.

"Do you know why Yoongi is avoiding me?" You ask, feeling a little guilting knowing that both of them have confessed to you however what confuses you more is why one of them has given up harshly and suddenly.

Hoseok was silent, he didn't even notice Yoongi avoiding you until you mentioned it, it hurt him a little. He knew Yoongi gave up. But why? Yoongi was a better choice! At least that's what Hoseok told himself.

"I can talk to him if you want me too?" He ask's adjusting the handle of the chair bag on his shoulder.

"No...it's okay.." you sigh looking down to the ground again your eyes wandering the pathway.

You hear a sigh to the side of you then suddenly a familiar warm hand grip tightly onto yours.

"It's going to be alright, he probably hasn't got enough sleep," a small chuckle is let out from beside you and you just nod and look forward, holding tightly onto the warm familiar hand that kept you sane.

"WERE HERE!" A shout comes from the front of the line, as you watch Jimin and Jungkook dash off towards the lake stopping at the waters edge smiling brightly.

You couldn't help but smile also as the sun beams down on the waters and the lime green grass, laughing at how Taehyung teases Jimin by slightly pushing him near the water.

You help jin organise the picnic, feeling a little bad at how literally everyone dashed off to the lake and the littler rope swing ditching Jin to set up everything himself.

"Oh y/n, can you pass me the sandwiches?"

"Y/n...?"

You feel a tap on your shoulder alerting you again wide eyed you stare at jin, he only giggles. Before asking for the sandwiches again.

You pass them too him feeling a little embarrassed about not hearing him from being lost in your world.

"Something on your mind y/n?" Jin ask's and he organises the food and drinks.

"No.." you lie.

"Don't lie to me, what's going on?" He ask's finally drawing his full attention to you.

You sigh, "...it's about Hoseok and yoongi..." you begin hesitating to tell him about the problem you face.

"They like you don't they?" Jin blurts in catching off guard as you just stare at his smile.

"H-how did you? What?" You stutter.

"It's really obvious, but I never really guessed Yoongi would grow so soft...Hoseok fell in love from the very beginning I believe." Jin smiles as he holds his knees to his chest looking out onto the boys and jade messing around in the lakes reflecting water.

You just sit there.

Pondering on jins words, Hoseok loved you from the very beginning? But when did he even recognise his feelings?

"But jin...when did Hoseok even recognise his feelings for me?..." You question your mind going berserk with questions and memories of your time spent with Hoseok.

"He told me that it was when he felt his heart shatter..that's why he realised." Jin spoke softly not to frighten or hurt you, he shuffled closer to you and cuddled you.

"I promise you, that everything will figure itself out." Jin smiles as he pulls away from your small cuddle of reassurance.

"Now. Are you hungry?" He grins before grabbing a plate for you and filling it up with delicious snacks.

You nod and take the plate off him beginning to munch on the lush carrot sticks and gaze out onto the shimmering waters of the lake.

Soon jin bellows out calling others to join your both on the picnic blanket and chairs.

You say there quietly contemplating Jin's words to you.

He told me that it was when he felt his heart shatter....that was when he realised..

His heart shatter?
When did you ever break his heart? You gulp completely stopping yourself from eating. your eyes training on the floor as your brows knit together by the pure concentration you had on your thoughts. 

Hoseok.

Was hurt?

Memories flickered through your thoughts, every memory you shared with him, you couldn't find one where he didn't smile at you.

"Are you okay y/n?" A deep voice calls out from infront of you but you take no notice.

You gulp trying to force the tears back into your eyes, soon standing up abruptly and training your eyes on anything else but the loving family around you.

"I'm going for a walk." You state before twirling on your head and darting of towards the Forrest.

Completely oblivious to the man who trailed behind you, keeping an eye on you.

— hoseoks pov —

It was weird.

Why was she so fascinated with the ground? I mean yes the blankets nice but it can't be that nice to stop eating.

I soon then gathered my thoughts mb worry kicking in, why isn't she eating? Did I say something wrong? Is she alright?

Soon her body jumps up as she lets out a quick mumble her feet taking her towards the Forrest.

I couldn't help myself.

I had to follow her to make sure she was okay, I don't want anything bad to happen to her, ever.

She deserves all the safety and kindness in the world and I'd do anything to give it to her.

Slowly trailing behind her frail unsteady body I begin to hear her light sniffles and mumbles.

"Why was he hurt?" She spoke to herself.

My brows knitted together, who was she talking about? Who made her upset? Was it Yoongi?

Her body kept walking, it didn't stop her feet moved with no energy. No direction.

"I'm sorry..." she mumbles while lightly kicking a twig along the stoney pathway.

"What are you sorry for?" I burst out frustrated with what's making her upset my own worry kicking in.

Her eyes fart over to me, I only smile and jog up to her, "why are you saying sorry sweetheart?" I grin her soft eyes reflecting only sadness and doubt in them.

My heart ached.

"Hoseok...I um...nothing I'm not sorry about anything you heard me wrong..I er...I was trying to um...remember.." she stutters our excuses after excuse.

"Why are you hiding things from me? I'm your friend." I smile brightly, "you can tell me anything I'm happy to listen to your thoughts and words." I cheerfully mumble out looking lovingly back into her eyes.

Her eyes flashed a loving tone back again.

I grinned.

Patiently waiting for her to answer her feet shuffling infront of me and her eyes glued to the ground.

"Hoseok....when did you feel your heart shatter?" She slips out.

And that caught me off guard.

So, I'm going to try and finish this book ASAP, so I will be trying to write a chapter a day again! And then soon moving onto my joint books. Then my new new one which I love.

So with out further a-due.
