Winter P.O.V

When Jayden pulled back, I was breathless. Shocked. I looked up at him, my eyes widened slightly. "Wh-Why'd you do th-" Jayden cut me off by kissing me softly again then whispering, "Winter... Will you go on a date with me...?" My breath caught and I looked him in the eyes and smiled a real smile. Nodding, I said, "Y-Yes... I will..."

He smiled at me and laughed softly, "I don't know why it took me so long to ask you..." I blushed slightly and hugged him, "It... Hurt to see you with Brit... I didn't know why but now I do..." He gripped around my waist tightly. "I-I've liked you since I saw you, Winter... I tried to not since you were going through so much but I... I couldn't ignore it..." My face flared with a blush and I looked back up at him. He cares about me... I don't feel.. Empty anymore..

"I think I'm in love with you, Snowy..." My breath caught and I my arms tightened around him slightly, pressing the side of my face to his chest. I whispered, "Call me that again..." He said it quietly in my ear and a tear slipped down my cheek, "My-my dad used to call me that all the time... No ones been able to since... I.. I want you to though..."

I felt his eyes on me and I looked up at him, tears still in my eyes, he wiped the tear that was on my cheek away and whispered four words that changed me, "I'd be honored to..."

I smiled a little and buried my face in the crook of his neck, and in a few minutes we were on my bed just talking, me snuggled up to his side with his arm around me. "I think I should tell you what happened after my parents died.." He listened carefully as I told about all the horrible people that had been in my foster family, that I'd been bullied my whole life, how I had just gotten people who care about me to foster me 3 years ago. Through it all he did something no one else did...

He listened...

He cared...

He comforted me...

I think I feel something for this boy and I'm not willing to let him go when he has to go home...
