Winter P.O.V

I woke up and the scent that was Jayden flooded my sense of smell and I was snuggled to his chest. His arms tightly wrapped around me, he was breathing softly and his breath blew on my hair and I smiled a little. He didn't let me go... I sighed lightly and felt his grip tighten around me slightly, "Morning..." His voice was deep and a bit raspy but it sounded so, so, hot...

Crap, no, Winter. Don't think like that..! This is probably just some kind of phase for him... I blushed looking up at him, a small smile on my face, "Good morning, Jayden.." He smiled a little and looked at me, a slight blush on his cheeks. "Did you sleep alright?" I nodded and smiled a bit more at his question. I wanted to say: 'I slept amazing cause you smell nice and you're hot as all get-out.' Instead I said, "I-I slept fine... I'm sorry if I inconvenienced you in any way..." He shook his head and chuckled lightly, "No, no.. You didn't, it was the best I've slept in a while."

I blushed a little more, was he flirting with me..? I did a happy dance on the inside and finally noticed I was still being held tightly to his well toned chest. I uncurled one of my hands and flattened it against the middle of his chest, his breath caught and I kept looking at my flattened hand and his chest. I could feel his heart thumping..

My own heart started to speed up as I looked up at him.

His eyes showed an emotion I hadn't seen toward me before. Want. Then it was gone as he covered it up and pulled away... Crap.. The warmth on my side left as he got up, muttering, "We...we should get ready... I can drop you off at your place to get clothes if you like.." I nodded and hurt flashed in my mind but I tried to push it to the furthest corner of my mind.. I don't know why I ket him get to me like this...

When we got to my house I got out if his truck, "You can come in if you'd like. Can I have a ride to school, too?" He nodded a little, looking a bit deep in thought. Then he got out and walked in with me. It was an interesting sight, Josh and Brody making out on the couch; I covered my eyes and yelled, "Hey, hey, hey! Keep it PG till I leave for school, man!" Josh jumped up and blushed, his hair a mess, "You, hush your face! Go get ready for school!" There was a small smile on his face and I chuckled lightly running upstairs to get ready.

I came back down a few minutes later in another of my hoodies, my favorite PATD tee under it, the hoodie also being a band hoodie, some black ripped skinny jeans and my music note converse high tops. My hair was down, as usual, and my bangs settled over my right eye. I walked back up to Jayden to see him... Checking me out? Nah, probably just my imagination.

He smiled a little, "You ready?" I nodded and blushed a little bit, "Bye Josh, bye Brody. I'll see you guys later." I walked out with Jayden and hopped into his truck and he started driving. I was actually in a partial good mood today, that was all ruined at lunch when I saw some cheerleader attached to Jayden's face. I knew it... My heart sunk and I was reluctant to go over there, but I did anyways. Jayden saw me and pulled away, "Hi Winter." I nodded a little, "This is my new girlfriend, Brit." I ground my teeth together hard, Brit had been the bane of my existence since 8th grade.

I forced a small smile and nodded again, "W-We've met... I-I'm gonna go so you can hang out with your girlfriend..." I turned away and started walking, I heard him get up and try to follow me but Brit sat him back down and as soon as I was out of the cafeteria I ran to the bathroom. I shut and locked the stall door and I couldn't stop the tears that ran down my cheeks as I leaned against the door. Why..? Why did the one good thing in my life have to be with Brit, of all people...

I couldn't stop him.. Whatever, I'll try to get over it... I'll be fine... Yeah right, you've been saying that for the past 10 years Winter and are you? I heard the annoying voice in my head and the tears flowed more...
