Sonic's POV 

One week and five days later...

We started hiking to Eggman Base. 

"First things first. We need to hike to Eggman Base. Be careful, because we don't want to be seen."

I whacked away the bugs.

"Next, Tails will send his drone into the vent and find a way to the computer room without being seen." 

Tails sent his drone into the vent and found a way in.

"Once we find the computer room, we'll sneak through the vents and Tails will go in through a vent to go into the computer room." 

Tails went into the computer room.

"Amanda and Keanna, you guys are with me. Using the earpieces me and Tails have, Tails will communicate with me and tell me the room that Kianna's in. We'll look for that room and when we find it, we'll get Kianna. Then we'll escape the way we came."

Tails gave me the room number and me and the girls soon found the room. The rooms are all concrete with steel doors. I picked the lock and opened the door. There was something small that had itself wrapped in a small ball in the corner of the room. The thing was shaking and you could hear it's dry, heavy breathing. 

"Tails?" I asked into my earpiece. "Are you SURE that this is the right room?"

"Positive." Tails replied.

"K-Kianna..?" I asked. Keanna went to say something but Amanda stopped her. The thing let out a little, soft whimper. I walked towards the thing. It was wearing a red bikini. I sat down next to the thing to see that it had it's eyes closed. "K-Kianna..? Is that you..?" I whispered gently. The thing opened its eyes to reveal melted dark chocolate puddle eyes. 'It's her…' My heart stopped as I looked her over. She let out another little whimper as I reached my hand for her hair. She pulled back a bit, but when I started smoothing down her hair she stopped pulling away and she seemed to enjoy it. 

"...W-W-Werehog..?" She asked weakly, her voice raspy and dry. I started crying.

"It's me, Kianna. It's me. I came back for you, just like I promised." I told her excitedly. She licked my hand with her dry tongue. I let out a little chuckle and kept smoothing down her hair. 

"Sorry to ruin this touching moment, but we really gotta go…" Amanda interrupted. I nodded and picked up Kianna. She squirmed a bit in my arms, before getting cozy and cuddling into my chest. I shivered at how cold she was. I felt something wet touch me, but I ignored it. We stepped out of the room, and into the light. Kianna covered her eyes and Amanda gasped. Keanna was staring.

"What..?" I asked. 

"Look at her legs…" Amanda told me. I hesitantly looked at her legs and what I saw made me really angry, upset, and full of other emotions.
