"I just don't know." Her claws were digging into the earth.

"His therapy went well! Stop worrying. Though, I suppose you have a lot to worry about, don't you?" Swiftear said, his voice was boiling with resentment.

"Swiftear?" Aquiver questioned.

"Well, they're not your Clanmates, are they? You've only been here for three moons, you didn't grow up with them! I'm scared, Aquiver, scared! Who will be next? Me? Lynxheart? His kits? My family are at stake!" He hissed, his eyes flared with anger.

Aquiver was burning. Alight, and fueled. She was veiled in light, encased in ultraviolet violence.

"You don't know what I've seen, Swiftear! You don't know the terrible things I've witnessed. I've seen cannibalism between two loved ones, I've seen a forest with eyes hanging from strings from branches. I've seen sickness take a beautiful place and call it home. I've seen water so vast it could destroy me, and Aurora, it came so close. Salty tongues lapped at me, and the voices pulled me under as they lulled me to sleep. I've awoken with a body that was so battered, I still bare the scars. I awoke with sickly blood melting the sand where I lay, the blood of my very best friend. She achieved what we wanted, but I had too continue playing the game."

Swiftear was in shock, his colours swirling at their paws.

"I've seen laughter, I've tasted freedom. I've touched perfection, I've heard divinity. And it was those which destroyed me the most. So do your worst, Swiftear. I will let the bears shake me to the ground, and I will walk out alive. Because I am indestructible, I am a god. So touch me. And maybe you can feel it too."
