11 ~ We're going on an adventure!
A/N: TWO updates!!! :D I hope this makes up for the not posting in a while. Merry Christmas everybody!!! Well... Boxing Day... but still. :) Hope you all had a wonderful time with your famiy. :)
I gasp as the world swirls around, faster than fast, colliding with me at full speed. In a second, I'm torn away from the beach and apperaing somewhere else. On the side of a hill?
I stumble downwards, almost falling. "Don't worry. I've got you." Peter Pan says. He pulls me back up to him.
"I don't remember you from our old life, but I hope we had a good relationship." I say with a small laugh, enjoying his comfort and wrapping my arms around him.
"Uh..." He stutters uncomfortably. Sensing his tension, I let go and look around. Something about this place seems familiar. A hill with daisies comes into view - a tree, too.
"What is this place?" I ask, stumbling rather than walking down the hill, still intruiged. "It seems familiar somehow."
"A dream you had." Peter Pan says behind me.
"It must have been a good one if you were in it." I turn around and wrap my arms around him, snuggling into his shoulder.
"Would you stop it?" He pats me on the back like a little kid. "You're not being... you."
"What would the old me have done?" I ask, slightly annoyed."
"You're being such a girl." He says. "I liked the old you a lot better. The old you was more... controlled. At least if you were gushing over me you weren't showing it."
"I'm not gushing." I say, a little annoyed.
"That's better." He smirks.
I study him for a moment, noticing his green eyes. "Hey. We have the same eyes. And yours are pretty. I bet you get that a lot. What's next? Can you take me flying?" I beg. "Plleeaase?!"
"Oh ugh." He groans. "I don't know why I bother. Fine."
"Ready?" He throws something that looks like dust over me. We start to rise in the air.
"Ooohh." I grab onto his hand and pull him closer until our shoulders are touching, Leaning my head over, I smile at him happily.
"Oh my gosh... I swear, if you don't snap out of it... I'll..." He rants.
"Come on, let's have some fun." I crawl closer, trying to get him to recipricate. Leaning over, laughing a little, I blow on his hair, trying to get him to look at me with those gorgeous green eyes of his.
"Oh right. That's it." He snaps his fingers and we appear back in the forest. I can hear distant voices that sound like they're arguing.
"Oh, come on, that was fun." I object, shoving him to the side. He ignores me and drags me along. Well he has to drag me, because I'm still holding him tightly.
"GOLD!" He says, not overly loud but loud enough to make my spine tingle.
The people I saw a mere few hours ago spin around. The guy they call Hook has a rather obnoxious smile on his face. "Got yourself a shadow, Pan."
"Shut up." He says crossly, unclasping my hands and pushing them back to me. "Stop... hugging me, will you?"
"What happened?" The chick with the long blond hair is struggling not to laugh.
"Change her back!" Pan says desperately. "She's a clingy little shadow. She's all gushy and awful. I can't stand it."
"Well that's your problem, dearie, not ours." Gold shrugs. "You made her like this when you forgot the tiny detail about adding something about her parents. Without knowing she truly belongs to someone, she thinks she belongs to you."
"Oh the pipes." Pan smacks his forehead. "Idiot. How can I fix it?" He eyes me, giving him puppy dog eyes. I raise my hand but he sidesteps quickly. "Don't touch me."
"I thought you knew everything." Gold says with a smirk.
"I don't... OK? There. I said it. If you can get her back to normal you can all leave the island as soon as you like... with Henry as well."
"Well... there may be a way to fix it, but it would involve some very powerful magic. The question is, how far are you willing to go? And, do you have enough power?"
"I'll try anything." He says desperately.
"You're going to have to acess a memory of them, through her mind. I trust you can feel a connection with her?"
Pan wrinkles his nose and sighs. "Unfortunately."
"The memory might not be very easily acessible. She may not even have one. Pray that she does. When you have that memory, you're going to have to go there - visit it. You'll go back in time, as such. Then, she'll remember. It's not easy..."
"I'll do it." Pan says eagerly.
"Are we going on a trip?" I smile, excited that it's just going to be us. Sneakily, I snake my hand over his shoulders, leaning sideways.
He sighs and rolls his eyes, growling at the blond haired girl as she openly smirks at him.
"Don't say I didn't warn you of the consequences." Gold says carefully. "There's a possibility you could both die... or that you could get trapped back in time. But I'll help you all I can, if you promise that we can leave this island."
"It's a deal." Pan says quickly. "You all know - I may not be the most behaved boy in the island... but I always keep my promises."
"Indeed you do." Gold smiles. "That's what I'm counting on."
