I take my vortex manipulator and go to the library. I race to the centre and see her lying there. It had only just happened. I unhook River, take her out of the chair and lay her on the ground. I sonic her and plug my self into the chair. She wakes up.
"Who are you? Why did you take my place?" She asks, trying to get to me. I put a sonic field up. I couldn't be saved.
"Goodnight mum," I say and plug the wires together
