Flying with Blue was amazing, it was so fun to see him soar through the air laughing, his laughing was contagious. I flew up next to him, he smiled to me and said
"I never thought flying would be so exhilarating, soaring among the birds, the wind blasting your face, catching currents with your wings."
He tilted his wings and bumped my side, he laughed and said again
"Have flying to you always been this fun? Do you wish to fly around all day"
"Probably not as much as you like it, it is as you described simply exhilarating"
I said, flashing him a grin. He grinned back. We flew around the beach for a few more minutes. Blue occasionally dipping into the deep ocean. Startling turtles all around him. His elation filled me with joy knowing even at dark times such as these, he could still be happy.
I glided over to him and said
"Hey, it's getting dark, lets go back"
His smile diminished a little but he said cheerfully
"Yeah we should go back, plus my wings are starting to ache"
We flew back to the cave and walked inside. There we saw a snoring Swordtail, probably exhausted from his long flight home. We rested there for a while snacking on berries and relaxing. Ok, tomorrow we move out to... do something, find the LeagWings? Look for Luna? Head back inland and wait? We'll think of something. Talons were placed on my shoulder, I jumped five feet in the air. I looked over and saw Blue, his talons on my shoulder

"Three Moons! Don't scare me like that! Offer a little warning will ya? I thought you were a HiveWing official!"

He smiled, since when had he grown so confident, and that smile been so amazing?

"Sorry, not sorry. I wanted to know if you wanted to look at the stars and constellations."

I grinned back at him, happy that he recognized my love for astronomy

"Sure lets go! But what about Swordtail?"

"Pssh, he'll be fine"

We walked out towards the beach, a consortium of crabs scuttled past. We sat next to each other, the water skimming out talons. I looked up and to my astonish, it was a clear night where you could see all the stars. He started to point out groups of stars, and I joined with him. The entire weight of the day, came upon me making me extremely tired. Without thinking I laid my head on Blue's chest, to my relief he did not mind. I awoke the next morning in the cave, memories of last night filtering through my head. I fully opened my eyes to see a glaring Swordtail. He yelled at me.

"What have you done with Blue!"
