Final meeting
Here it is! I'm sorry it took so long! I hope you guys enjoy!
I opened the door to the meeting room. The only ones not there yet were England and Romano. I walked across the room, taking the seat beside Italy and Canada. Italy gave me a warm smile, but it was obvious he was scared. The look in his eyes and the slight shake in his hands gave him away. I wanted to tell him that everything was going to be okay. I wanted to tell him that he didn't have anything to worry about, but, I couldn't lie to him. Instead, I just gave him a quick smile then looked away towards the door.
A minute later England walked in, taking one of the two only seats beside France. I watched as France smiled almost lustfully at England. England pushed his chair as far away from France as he could, but of course, France just followed him with his chair. I shook my head.
I turned my gaze back to the door. Through the window, I could see Romano walking towards the meeting room. He had a grim expression on his face. He caught my gaze, staring back with eyes like embers. We kept each others gaze as he walked in. Closing the door behind him, he gave me a quick evil smile, then swept his eyes across the room. He stood at the end of the table ready to speak.
"Good evening everyone." Romano started, getting everyone's attention. Voices stopped, and the room fell silent. "This meeting will be our last before the war, or, if you're not so lucky, your last meeting ever." Romano's gaze fell on Italy as he spoke. Italy didn't return the gaze. Instead, he looked down, staring at his hands. Seeming pleased, Romano continued."In just three days, alarms will go off everywhere, signalling the beginning of the war. As I said before ,the war duration time will be six months. Who every you kill, you conquer. Everything that was once theirs will become yours. Alliances are allowed, but be careful who you form them with. You wouldn't want to get stabbed in the back." He shot a smile across the room. "Any questions?" Russia raised his hand. Romano pointed at him. "yes?"
"Vwhat if someone kills everybody else before the three months is up?" Russia asked. The room seemed to become even more silent than before. All eyes were fixed on Russia. "What? It could happen." Russia said, shrugging. The room stayed quiet for a few more moments, then Romano cleared his throat.
"Well, that is very unlikely, but I suppose if it did happen, then the one lone survivor would be the ultimate winner. They would own the whole world." As Romano explained, Russia listened intently, his eyes full of joy and a smile on his face. "Anymore questions?" No one moved or spoke. "In that case, we will wrap this up. Train hard. Fight hard. Try not to die." Romano gave us all one more dark smile to end the meeting.
Everyone started conversations amongst each other. Italy got up. I got up with him. We started to make our way out of the meeting room. Right before the door, Romano grabbed Italy's arm and yanked him aside. "I'm coming for you two first." Romano whispered in Italy's ear. I heard him, and I almost went after him, but then I remembered the last time that happened, and how Italy begged me to stop. I decided it would be best if I just waited for the war to take care of him.
I shoved Romano off of Italy, then motioned with my head for Italy to go. He didn't argue. I shot Romano one last look before I followed Italy out.
we were walking down the hall when a voice from behind said "Excuse me." Me and Italy stopped and turned around. Standing in front of us was Canada. "Hi. I'm Canada. I was hoping we could maybe be allies? I would be a great help. Most countries don't even know I exist, so there is no price on my head. I've got weapons and a good army." Canada gave us a warm smile. Me and Italy shared a look, and without any words spoken,we knew that this would benefit all three of us.
I looked back at Canada and nodded. "Sure."
That's it. Hoped you liked it. Please let me know what you think!
