A sigh escaped me as I finished hammering down the last of the building. Bringing my forearm to my forehead I wiped some sweat from my face. Then, I looked over at the home I had just finished helping build. A proud smile formed on my face.

"Who knew I could actually build things?" I grinned.

Sai looked at me, but made no comment as he took the hammer from my hand. This brought my attention to him as he started putting up all the building supplies. "Ne, Sai." I said, walking back over to him to help out. "When are you going to give me those art lessons I asked about?"

He didn't pause to even think over what he was going to say. "It's pointless."

I, however, did pause to blink at him. "What does that mean?"

This time, Sai looked up at me. "I've seen what you drawings look like now. It would be a waste of time for me to even try to teach you. After all, your drawing are worse than a two year old."

My mouth dropped as he went back to work. "H-Hey! Sai, you can't just say things like that!"

"I read in a book that it's always best to be honest." He resorted.

My eye twitched as I, purposely, dropped a hammer on Sai's foot. His eyes widened in pain as he looked at me. "Oops." I glared before turning away to begin walking away.

"You're mad..." He muttered, "Was it because I said I wouldn't teach you how to draw? Or because I said you have no artistic talent?"

I paused to look back at him, "Sai. Just some advice, it's great being honest, but there are some things that can be said nicer."

He rested a hand on his chin as he thought it over. "I see..."

I sighed again, however was cut off by a person lifting me in the air. A surprised squeal escaped me as my body was lifted up then smashed against someone. Blinking, I looked up to see the famous Uzumaki grin. Beside him, Sakura smiled looking at the both of us.

Naruto laughed, "I don't think I've actually hear you make that sound before!"

My face burned as I looked off to the side. "Shut up..."

This only caused him to laugh then coo as he hugged me tighter and rubbed his cheek against mine. My face only reddened at his actions. "N-Naruto-kun!" I protested, taking notice of his laughter.

"Oh! Yuki, let's go out on a date!" He turned me around to look at him. A bright smile light up his face as he looked at me.

"O-Okay..." I answered, still a bit flustered.

"Great!" Naruto'ssmile grew more.

"What time then?" I asked, making the blonde pause as if thinking it over.

"U-Uh..." Naruto muttered.

Sakura slapped her face with the palm of her hand. "Idiot." She muttered, "Naruto, you didn't even think over the whole date thing, did you?"

Hearing Sakura, Naruto's face turned red from embarrassment. "Well... I was  just really excited to ask Yuki out and all..."

This caused me to smile, "Naruto-kun, we're already going out."

"Well yeah, but this would make it all official." He declaired, a new look of determination on his face.

Behind him, I could hear Sakura give a small squeal at the both of us. Then, I was grabbed out of Naruto's arms by the pink haired kunoichi, who held onto one of my arms. "Naruto, you will pick up Yuki at her house at seven o'clock! And, by then you will have all the details of the date planed out! Come on, Yuki."

I blinked as Sakura started to drag me off away from Naruto and Sai. "Sakura, why are you butting in on our date?"

"Because," She answered as if it was obvious. "Naruto's an idiot, and you're still clueless. I bet you don't know anything about a date, I'll have the boys go talk with Naruto. He'll need the help just as much as you."

A sweatdrop formed on my face as I let Sakura lead me towards who know where. "I see..." I sighed, "Where are we going then?"

"To get the girls together. I know you will try to fight me, so I'm just getting back up." My eyes widened at Sakura's statement. "We'll get Ino first."

"You act like we're going to war or something." I said. Sakura didn't answer me, as she dragged me off towards Ino's home.

Ino, Sakura, Zero, and Tenten talked loudly as they argued over what I should wear. Hinata, sat beside me quietly. I sighed, resting my head in my hands as I glanced over from the four girls to Hinata.

Her eyes rested on the floor as she seemed to look awkward sitting beside me. It was then that I remembered what I had been told. Hinata had liked Naruto, and before she could ever even confess I started dating him.

While most people would probably consider Hinata a 'love rival', I couldn't. She was probably just the sweetest person I had ever met, and that alone just made it impossible for me to dislike her in any way. So, instead, I figured I would try to make friends with her.

"I think this is all stupid, huh Hinata?" I commented, seeming to make Hinata jump from beside me.

Her lavender eyes looked up at me, her face reddening as her shyness kicked in. "U-Um... I-I guess so..."

I smiled friendly, "What do you think?"

Now, she started to poke her pointer fingers together. "W-Well, I guess it is i-important."

"You think so?" I muttered, leaning back on my sofa.

"This one will look better!" Ino shouted. "It compliments her eyes!"

"But that's too dressy!" Tenten disagreed.

"Do any of you even have any idea what Naruto has in plan?" Zero asked, looking through my clothes.

Sakura gave a dry laugh. "He'll probably bring Yuki to the ramen shop!"

I closed my eyes as the girls snickered, with the exception of Hinata and I. However, Hinata looked back at me, a small smile on her face. "Y-Yuki, I just wanted to say that if anyone was going to date Naruto, I-I'm glad it's you."

I blinked at Hinata, and it seemed the longer I was silent, the more she seemed to turn more red. Finally, I smiled, "Thank you, Hinata."

"Hinata, which do you think would look best for Yuki?!" Sakura and Ino shouted, making the poor Hyuga jump and turn red from the attention.

"U-Umm...." She mumbled, poking her fingers together. "Well... I think there was g-going to be a festival tonight... So, it's likely that N-Naruto-kun will take Yuki-san there."

"So the Kimono!" Ino shouted.

Sharply, Hinata nodded. As soon as the two returned to the other two girls, Hinata seemed to let out a sigh in relief. "I know their overbearing sometimes." I sighed.

Hinata didn't say anything, probably too shy to admit anything. "But, it's also refreshing." I grinned, noticing a faint smile on her face.

"Oi! It's decided, Yuki!" Zero shouted, dragging me to my feet. "You're wearing this." I blinked when a soft pinkish-white kimono with a soft floral pattern was stuffed into my arms.

"This isn't even mine..." I muttered, "I don't think I even own a kimono anymore, not since I outgrew my fighting one..."

"Don't bother wondering how we got it." Zero muttered, avoiding my gaze. "Just put the thing on, now." Sighing I nodded, and walked over to my bathroom.

I rolled the long sleeves up a little more once again as Sakura tied a red stash around my waist. "Where am I supposed to hide my kunai's?" I asked, gasping as Sakura tightened the stash a bit too tight at the sound of what I had just said.

"What?" Ino blinked.

"Well, I'm not going to just leave without any kind of weapon." I answered, looking at the sleeves, debating on maybe hiding one in there.

"Idiot!" Sakura hit me on my head, I winced while rubbing the now throbbing spot. "You can't bring a weapon on a date."

"Why not? I'm a ninja, and Naruto's still in danger. If anything does happen, I at least need something to help defend myself." I defended.

"Have you ever been on a date before?" Zero asked, rolling her eyes.

"No." I said. "I haven't."

Zero, Sakura, Tenten, and Ino froze to stare at me. "What?" Ino blinked, "Then what did you do the two and a half years you were gone?"

"I trained with Naruto-kun.... and Jiraiya sensei. Then I trained with my wolfs." I answered.

"And no boy ever asked you out?" Sakura asked.

I tilted my head, trying to remember. "I don't know... There were a couple of comments from boys, but they were always chased away by Naruto-kun."

Zero blinked, "Wow, you two really..."

Ino smirked, "I know."

"Well, either way." Sakura sighed. "You can't bring a weapon to a date, it's just in the code."

"There's a code?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

Sakura nodded, "Yes, and you can't bring a weapon. It's one of the rules."

"Guidelines." I interrupted. "They are guidelines, therefore they can be broken, and I am going to break them. I don't care what you all say, I'm bringing a weapon."

Sakura seemed annoyed at me not, but decided to let it go. "Fine, but we are doing your hair!"

"But my hair looks fine." I protested, placing my hands on my hair.

"For a mission, not for a date." Ino shook her head.

I looked back at Hinata, "Help me here."

Her eyes widened as she looked at me, then to the four girls with their arms crossed. "U-Umm, w-well it wouldn't hurt..." Now, she was poking her pointer fingers together. Remembering she was shy, I felt a small pinch of guilt as I realized I made her feel uncomfortable.

I sighed, "Fine, you guys win. However, over do it, and I'll break your hands."

They grinned, "Don't worry!"

"Naruto's coming!" Sakura grinned,  pushing me to stand by the door.

I looked back at the girls, "I don't think I trust you all enough to be left alone in my house, except you, Hinata."

Zero rolled her eyes, "Don't worry, it's not like we're going to burn down the house."

A firm knock sounded on the door, making my heart flutter in my chest. I went back to play with my hair, but remembered that the girls had pinned it up in a neat bun. Opening the door, I was greeted by Naruto, who seemed red in the face.

"Hey, Naruto-kun..." I smiled.

He gave a grin, his nerves obviously vanished. "Yuki-chan!"

It had appeared that the girls were right about the date, as Naruto was wearing a yukata. However, I was surprised to see no orange on his outfit. Instead it contained a navy blue with a black stash around his waist.  He held out his hand to me, "Come on!"

A soft push on my back made my feet move, I glanced behind me. Hinata gave a shy smile at me before Zero slammed shut the door, the girls squeals were still heard. I slipped my hand into Naruto's.

 He grinned, making my face burn as he pulled me towards the destination that he chose. "You look really pretty." His voice sounded more quiet than before.

I chewed the inside of my cheek as I smiled at him, my cheeks burning more. "T-Thanks, Naruto-kun."

He laughed, "I hope you're hungry! We're getting food first."

I nodded, "Starved, the girls refused to let me eat anything."

After a wonderful dinner, containing sushi, Naruto lead me to the festival that Konoha was having. The villagers smiled at us, but for the most part, left us alone today.  After dinner, my nerves completely disappeared, making me wonder why I even had them in the first place.  Now I stood beside Naruto, enjoying the laughter of people around us and the beautiful lights that were strung up.

We had already played a few of the games, but Naruto had spend most of his money on dinner, and since he refused to let me pay for anything we had no more money.  However, when I had thought that was going to be the end, Naruto started to drag me to another destination.

 I giggled, "Okay, where are we off to now?"

Naruto looked back at me, smiling. "You'll see! I want this to be the perfect date."

I smiled, letting him pull me along. 'He is just so sweet...' I thought.

It wasn't long before the lights and chatter from the festival disappeared. Soon we were surrounded by the natural light of the moon and the sounds of our feet walking on the ground. I wondered where he was leading me, as there was soon nothing around us.

Once he had finally stopped I realized where he had taken me. He had lead me to the Hokage mountain, overlooking the entire village and the bright festival. I took in a breath as I looked over everything, no matter how many times I look at everything, it never gets old.

"I thought this place would be the best to end our first date." Naruto smiled, having me sit down beside him.

I nodded, "It is." I leaned my head against his shoulder, releasing a blisful sigh. "I can't believe how nervous I was."

Naruto laughed, "You were nervous?" I nodded, "Well, if it makes you feel any better, I was extremely nervous."

"Really?" I blinked, looking up at him, he nodded. "That's stupid, isn't it?" I asked, once again relaxing on his shoulder. "Here, we've been best friends forever, and yet a date seemed to make us nervous."

"But," Naruto said, "I'm sure we both realized something."

I raised an eyebrow, still looking over the village, "What's that?"

"Even though we're dating, it won't change how we act around each other. While we are now boyfriend and girlfriend, we're also still best friends." He said.

I smiled, "Yeah, you're right." Sitting up, I met his blue eyes. He smiled at me once he saw my smile. Then, unable to contain myself, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed out lips together. I made myself forget about the upcoming war, about the plans of trying to keep Naruto safe, about everything. Instead, I let myself enjoy this rare moment with Naruto, as I didn't know how many more moments like this were to come.

End of Chapter 75! A long wait, and I probably just gave you guys the worst chapter ever, I'm so so sorry! However, I had a really hard time writing this chapter for some reason, probably because I, myself, have never been on a date... But I hope it wasn't a complete waste. However, there is one more chapter to this then I'm going to start the next story. It will continue right where this one is going to leave off. And the main reason I'm writing the war in another story is because it itself will probably have about 40-50 chapters, since I'm adding my own little twist on it :)

Anyway, I hope this chapter was at least bearable for all of you guys! I promise the next chapter will be much better! ^-^ And I will try to update it sometime this week or next week! Oh, and I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!

I'll be posting a picture of what Yuki looked like shortly.
