3RD Person

Heavy snoring came from one of the three rooms in the house, light had just started to fill the rooms, waking a white-haired female. She glanced over towards the room with heavy snoring, a soft smile formed on her lips as she immediately knew who it was.

Urgent knocking on the door drew her to stand up, rubbing her eyes sleepily she walked towards the door, where she sensed two people. Sighing softly she unlocked the door and opened it, making the person who was knocking stumble slightly.

Annoyance filled her as she realized it was the blonde whiskered boy and the forehead pink-haired female who had come this early. "What?" She demanded.

The blonde boy and pink haired female ignored her rudeness, "Is Yuki-chan awake? It' important." The blonde demanded, it was then that Zero finally realized the two weren't in their normal ninja attire.

"No, Yuki isn't awake, can't you guys just come back later? It's too early to deal with both of you." Zero muttered.

"Please, Zero, it's important. Yuki would want to be there for this." The pink haired girl added, Zero sighed after realizing she still didn't know their names before nodding annoyed.

"Is I get hit, it's on you two." Zero muttered before walking over to the other silent room, where a sleeping blonde was found.

Her lips were slightly parted as she breathed easily, walking over to her Zero grabbed the sheets from under Yuki and pulled, knocking the sleeping blonde onto the floor. With a shriek the blonde woke up, looking up she glared at Zero, who seemed to come up with a habit of waking her up this way.

"The blonde guy you hang out with and the pink haired forehead are at the door, they said it's important." Zero muttered.

Her glare vanished as she quickly stood up and ran over to the door, Zero following after her, wincing slightly when her left half made contact with the wall.

Yuki ran over to the door, ignoring the fact she was in a over size shirt and shorts. Naruto and Sakura looked at her, red covered Naruto but it vanished when he realized what he was there for.

"What's wrong?" Yuki asked, her voice still scratchy from being half awake.

"Lady Tsunade called us, she said it was about Sasuke." Sakura informed, making Yuki's eyes widen before she nodded.

"Let me just get dressed and I'll be right there." Zero looked confused as Yuki went rushing back into her room.

"I've never seen shortie wake up that fast." She laughed, but she laughter was met with silence as the two at the door were in deep thought.

Another door opened to reveal a blue eyed boy with black hair, he yawned loudly before looking at Zero. "What's with all the noise?"

Zero shrugged but before she could say anything, Yuki's door was pulled open. Zero blinked at how fast it took Yuki to pull her long hair into a ponytail and change into her citizen clothes, which consisted of a black shirt with her clan's symbol on it and a pink and red skirt. Walking past Ichiru without saying anything made the boy frown as she slipped on her shoes and walked over to the door.

"Zero, Ichiru, I have to go. Don't do anything stupid while I'm out." She muttered, and before Zero could make a smart remark Yuki shut the door and ran off with the other two.

Ichiru frowned more, "She didn't even say good morning to me."

"Yeah, I think it had to do something with this guy they were talking about." Zero muttered.

Yuki's POV

I slammed open the door to Tsunade's office. Making notice of Jiraiya I sent a small smile to him before looking at Tsunade. "Granny Tsunade! What's this about Sasuke?"

Tsunade looked up at us, "Oh, you actually got up for once, Yuki. I got news about Sasuke and Orochimaru. It seems that Orochimaru is dead, Sasuke killed him."

I looked as shocked as did Naruto and Sakura, but a small smile of hope formed. "So, he's coming back to the village?"

Tsunade frowned, "No, he's not coming back."

That sent Naruto into a rage. "What's the meaning of this? Why isn't he returning to the village now that Orochimaru's dead?"

Jiraiya looked at Naruto and I. "Sasuke has been obsessed with revenge. In order to kill Itachi Uchiha, he must get closer to the Akatsuki."

I looked down, clenching my fist. "Teme!" Naruto growled, "Still? Damn it!"

I looked up, "Then,we have to get going as well! We're still hunting down the Akatsuki as well, right?"

Tsunade nodded, "Yeah."

"So, our chances of meeting Sasuke are much higher if we look for that member of the Akatsuki." Naruto growled, his face filled with determination and anger. "In other words, our aim is Itachi Uchiha."

"Going after the Akatsuki member who's likely to run into Sasuke it makes sense, but... What to do with Itachi Uchiha then?" Tsunade muttered.

"If we were able to capture even one member of the Akatsuki, I think we could have Ibiki get intel on Itachi from them." Sakura said.

"It's true that there's already an order out fro capturing member of the Akatsuki, when and if possible at all..." Tsunade agreed.

"But, that'll prove difficult, right?" We turned to see Kakashi leaning on the door behind us.

"Kakashi sensei." I muttered, nodding my head a greeting.

"Getting information out of them won't be as simple as that." Kakashi muttered, "Even the ones we've seen already are far too dangerous. We didn't even have a chance to consider capturing them."

"So what do we do?!" Naruto shouted.

"Until we happen to find Itachi, all we can do it remain calm and search." Kakashi answered calmly.

"Find Sasuke by going after Itachi?" Jiraiya muttered, "So then, we find Itachi, and then what?"

"About that," Kakashi said, "I have an idea. Could you give me sometime?"

I walked back to my house, my hand resting on my stomach, barely able to make out the lightning scar on it. 'There's no way I'm letting Sasuke get away again.' My thought's were interrupted by a shout.

"Yuki-chan!" Turning slightly I was met by Naruto and Jiraiya.

Jiraiya smiled at me, "Hey, Yuki! I was thinking, how about you, Naruto, and I go get something to eat?"

I raised my eyebrow, "Is it your treat?"

He sweatdropped, "Just what Naruto asked... Yeah, it's my treat."

Naruto and I sat on either side of Jiraiya, a hot bowel of ramen in front of us. "Geez, what's going on with Kakashi sensei?" Naruto complained. "And here we are, all ready to leave now."

"It can't be helped." Jiraiya answered, both him and Naruto talking with their mouths full. "There are many things you have to prepare for."

I nodded, "It makes sense, we are about to go against another Akatsuki member, and for all we know, Sasuke may try to fight back."

Jiraiya nodded, "And this can't be done with just one squad."

Naruto paused his eating to look at Jiraiya, "What do you mean?"

"Pay attention." Jiraiya smiled, pointing his chop sticks at Naruto. "If Itachi is defeated, Sasuke will have no reason to come here. In other words, the only option we have is to capture Itachi, and that requires a plan, and more ninja. Right now, Kakashi's getting this all organized."

Naruto smiled, "So that's it."

"Still, we're dealing with Itachi now, so ordinary strategies won't work." Jiraiya slurped.

"That's true, but with Kakashi sensei's and my Sharingan's, it will help a little bit." I answered. "Plus, we can't just leave him."

Jiraiya smiled, "Just to get Sasuke back, huh? I'm sure you two get it already, but Sasuke's become even more powerful than Orochimaru."

"Yeah, we know." Naruto answered, "But, a while back, I made a promise to Sakura. That I would definitely bring Sasuke back. And I can't fail to fulfill my promise." Jiraiya smiled at Naruto.

"Yuki-chan!" I groaned as a pair of arms wrapped around me, making Naruto growl and Jiraiya blink at the black haired boy.

"Ichiru, I'm trying to have lunch with my sensei and Naruto-kun, what is it?" I asked.

Ichiru looked at Jiraiya, his blue eyes widening. "Y-You're one of the legendary Sanin! Yuki-chan! You're being trained by the legendary Sanin?!"

I nodded, "Yeah, along with Naruto-kun."

Ichiru glanced at Naruto blankly, "I wouldn't believe that..."

That caused Naruto's eye to twitch, but before he could yell at Ichiro I said. "Why did you come looking for me?"

Blinking, Ichiro looked back at me with a childish pout. "Yuki-chan, you were so mean this morning, you didn't even say good morning to me."

"Is that all?" I asked.

"No! I can't find Zero-chan!" He cried.

"Yuki, who is this?"Jiraiya asked, narrowing his eyes at Ichiru.

"Oh! Pervy Sage, this is Ichiru, my long lost cousin's friend, and my cousin is Zero, she's not here though." I answered.

"Oh,another survivor from the Okami clan?" Jiraiya smiled.

I shook my head, "No, a cousin from my mom's side."

Jiraiya's eyes widened in shock as he heard that. A perverted grin formed on his face when he saw Ichiru snuggling into me. He nudged Naruto, "Hey, Naruto..." I didn't catch what he whispered to Naruto.

"Ichiru, please let go. I'm sure Zero is just wondering around the village. I have important things to do today, so I can't help you find her." I said.

"But Yuki-chan!-" Ichiro was pushed back by Naruto, who suddenly glared at him.

Jiraiya grinned beside me. Ichiru looked at Naruto confused before smiling. "What is it, Naruto?"

Naruto pointed a finger at Ichiru, "I demand a rematch!"

Ichiru's childish grin vanished, and was replaced my a one of annoyance. "Why? So I can beat you in front of Yuki?"

I sighed and turned back to eat some ramen while the two boys bickered. Jiraiya smiled down at me. "You know who those two remind me of?"

I looked up at him, "Who?"

"Teno and Arashi. Those two always fought for Mai, now it's almost like that but instead it's Naruto, and Ichiru, and I bet if Naruto met Hikaru from the Kessho village, it would be just the same thing." He chuckled.

I tilted my head, "I don't get it."

That only made him ruffle my hair, still laughing, "I knew you wouldn't."

It had just started to rain as Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Shino, Kiba, Akamaru, Hinata, Sai, and Yamato stood by the gates. Each of us had on a cloak to shield us from the rain as Tsunade, Jiraiya, Zero and Ichiru went to see us off.

I stood next to Naruto, already knowing I was going to stick to him is we are going to split up. Zero and Ichiru seemed upset that they weren't allowed to go, but since they were still under suspicion they weren't allowed to leave the village for at least another month or two.

Naruto looked at Kakashi, "Hey, shouldn't we have more people than this?"

"It' not a matter of man power. In this situation, we shouldn't have more than one team of two platoons. While assuming our target is a squad of two people, having more than three squads would make us easily detectable,  making giving orders hard, and lower our mobility." Kakashi explained.

"These are techniques designed for capturing, rather than killing. As for coordinating the squads, it's smarter to pick members who are used to working together. " Jiraiya added with a smile.

"Well, for now, this is the best we have." Tsunade looked at us with confidence.

"Though, I'd like better weather than this, now that we're moving out." Kakashi muttered, looking towards the forest.

"Yosh! Let's get going!" Naruto shouted.

"The rain is perfect for cooling down the ones who are getting fired up." Kiba smirked.

Tsunade raised her arm, "Then, I hereby assign you the mission of locating and capturing Itachi Uchiha! Be careful and watch each other's back's out there!"

"Yes ma'am!" We all shouted before taking off running.

I glanced back to see Zero looking at me worried as well as Ichiro, giving a grin to them as well as Jiraiya I took off at my full speed, making the others try to speed up to keep close to me.

End of Chapter 49! Tell me what you guys think :) Sorry it's not too long, but I've been going through somethings at home and as well as going though these things, school is keeping me busy :/ but I will try to at least update every week, as I have been doing.

I also just wanted to say how much  you guys really mean to me, when I started this story I didn't think anything of it, and just did it for the fun of writing. Seeing all of you guys support me has really inspired me as well as shock me. I really don't say this too often, but I am REALLY  thankful for all of you guys! If it wasn't for all of you I probably wouldn't think anything of my stories and I most likely would have given up by now, so thank you guys!

The picture on the side is Jiraiya, Naruto, and Yuki as kids, and the litte symbol on Yuki's shoulder is her clan's symbol. I just reciently realized I haven't given her clan a symbol, but now she has one :)

Now, the next chapters might get emotional, as we're getting closer to Jiraiya's death, but I wanted to ask, do you want me to do one more mission with Yuki and Jiraiya before he dies, or just go straight to his death?
