I do not own Naruto

I smiled walking to Sakura. She looked at me for a moment before a small smile appeared. "We're going to look at everyone practicing, want to join us?"

After nodding I looked back at Naruto, who was staring at me. Tilting my head, I asking, "You want to come too, Naruto-kun?"

He blinked shaking his head, as if clearing his head before grinning, "Yeah! Sounds great!"

My mouth formed into a big smile as I looked at the large amount of monks training in unison. Looking closer I made out Sora training among the other monks.

Naruto made an upset face, "Freaking Sora."

"Take your stances. Begin." One of the monks said as everyone paired up and began fighting each other.

Naruto put his hands on his hips, frowning. Sakura raised an eyebrow at him, "What?"

Looking from Naruto to the direction he was looking in I saw Sora. My eyes found themselves looking at his bandaged arm.

"Weird." Naruto mumbled.

"What is it?" Sakura pressed.

Naruto then did, what looked like, a weird dance, jumping from foot to foot. "He's pissing me off! Dattebayo!" He growled, glaring at Sora. Then he ran down to Sora, where they were just finishing their training.

I watched as Sora turned to glare at Naruto, who then started dancing again. When he stopped dancing he stared at Sora, speaking.

"Naruto! You moron!" Sakura growled.

When Sora went to punch Naruto, I found myself taking a step forward. Although I paused when Naruto blocked the punch, though my legs stayed tense as I readied myself to run after them. They continued to fight, Naruto blocking every hit.

"So you're finally serious?" Naruto shouted, a small smile forming. "That's more like the strength you showed me earlier."

Sora charged again at Naruto, sending multiple punches at him. Naruto blocked each one, when Sora kicked at him he jumped in the air to avoid it.

While he was still in the air, Sora sent more punches at him. My eyes looked over to the side, where all the other monks were giving Sora hateful looks.

Sora ran for Naruto, his rage egging him on. "Stop, Sora!" Chiriku shouted, Sora's eyes widened as he stopped.

Naruto was already kicking, there was no way fro him to stop. Without thinking I ran for them, my body found itself only in time to take the kick.

My head tilted to the side as his foot made contact with my cheek.  Blood splattered to the floor. Naruto's eyes widened when he saw me standing there.

"Yuki-chan." He whispered.

I wiped the blood off my mouth. "I guess I couldn't think of a kaimyou." Sora murmured as he turned to leave.

Naruto looked at me, "Why?"

I looked up at him, my head tilted, "Why what?"

"Why did you take the hit?" He demanded.

"Oh, that. Well, I didn't have enough time to block it. Also, I knew you couldn't stop it in time," I paused looking at the monks.

Naruto looked closer, "What else?"

"Nothing." I gave him a closed eye smile. "Were you fighting him because he said he would give you a kaimyou?"

He shook his head, "No, but what is a kamiyou?"

I paused, "Um, never mind."

My head rested against a tree, my eyes closed. I looked up when someone sat next to me, Naruto smiled at me. His cheek a little red. I blinked again when Sai sat next to us.

My eyes slowly shut again as I rested against the tree. I jumped when Naruto shouted, "W-What are you doing?! Dattebayo!"

Sai looked confused, "I was going to wipe your sweat off."

Naruto swiped the handkerchief from Sai. "Don't! It's just... wrong."

I looked at him, "Oh, I guess I shouldn't have done that before then... Hey, you okay Naruto-kun?"

He turned red, "N-No, it would be-" He paused. "Never mind, yeah I'm fine, Yuki-chan." He fell silent before speaking again. "Hey, Sai?"

"Hmm?" Sai murmured, looking at Naruto.

"What's a Kaimyou?" He asked, my eyes widened as I looked at Sai.

"I supposed it's like a nickname, perhaps? But they're only for dead people-"

"Oh, like how you always try to think of nicknames? So it's a sigh of friendship." My mouth fell open as Naruto stood up.

"Um, Naruto-kun? I don't think-" I trailed off when he ran off.

Sai looked at me, "Yuki, would you mind if I asked a question?"

My eyes looked away from Naruto to Sai. "Yeah, what is it?" I smiled.

"Why did you take that kick from Naruto? From what I've seen you don't really like Sora." He asked, as he tried not to sound rude.

I looked back at Naruto, who was almost out of sight. "Sora may not be my most favourite person, but there's something that makes me want to protect him. Those monks, they were giving him looks as if they hated him, something Naruto used to get. I'm sure Gaara got the same looks too, I guess it kinda makes me protective of him. Also, I knew Naruto didn't want to kick him, he could't stop himself in time."

He nodded slowly, "I see, so that's what they mean."

My ears perked, "What?"

He gave me a smile, "Oh, nothing Yuki. Just know that this team, along with others, seem to really care about you."

He stood up and turned to leave. "Hey, Sai!" I called, making him pause to look at me. A smile formed onto my face, "I guess I'm starting to accept you as a team mate." I paused, "And thanks, I guess I needed to hear that."

He stared at me for a moment before giving a smile, although it was fake, it had more feeling than it used to. "Also, Sai? You're human, so don't worry, you'll be able to feel emotions again. I'm sure Naruto will help too, even if he dosen't know." I spoke up.

Sai stared at me, a small emotion of shock on his face. He smiled again, "Thank you, Yuki. Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think you're made to be an ANBU."

I paused brushing the dirt off me, looking at him. "What?"

"ANBU's aren't supposed to have emotion, and from what I've read and seen. You're what they call a person with a 'big heart'. You don't lack in the skills, but you have to big a heart to be an ANBU..." He trailed off, looking down at the ground unsure how to continue.

My angry look vanished, a smile replaced it. "Oh, well I guess thanks." I paused, looking back at him. "Well, I better go catch up with Naruto. I have a feeling he's going to give a 'nickname' to Sora, and not really know what it means." With a wave I ran off.

Not paying attention I didn't hear Sai murmur, "You have helped a lot too, Yuki."

End of Chapter 23!  As promised I uploaded today since I got more than 4 comments from more than 4 different people! It was going to be longer, but my first chapter got deleted, so I had to go with this one. Anyway, since summer is just three days away I'll be able to upload sooner. So Just like last chapter I'll be asking for a certain amount of comments or even votes, and if I get them then I will make it a double upload. Although it dosen't quite go for this chapter, since this is my double upload, but that dosen't mean you shouldn't comment or vote :) I liked this chapter personally, since Sai finally got to have a talk with Yuki, that didn't consist of her threatening to 'cut off his balls' as she had said so from earlier chapters. I do hope I was able to keep Sai in character though, so I'm sorry if he wasn't quite in character.
