I watched as Sai's drawn mice came running back to the scroll. My arms were crossed and a small pout was present on my face. 'I could have checked the area, but no.'

As the last one returned Sai rolled up the scroll. "There's no one in the area, surrounding the bridge."

Yamato nodded, "That rules out the Akatsuki ambush then. Okay, we continue as planned."

I smirked and began pulling out some kunais. Placing some seals on them as I found I only had a few left with some seals on. "Naruto, can you turn the picture towards me?" I looked up as Yamato looked at a picture of Sasori.

"Wood element transformation." Wood formed around Yamato. I leaned in interested as a poof of smoke and dust formed. I nodded impressed at how good his transformation was.

"Well? Did it turn out all right?" Yamato asked.

"Yes! You look just like Sasori's puppet, Hiruko." Sakura nodded.

"Now I need to match my voice to his, so say stop when I've got it." Yamato then began to made different sounds, some higher, and some lower pitched.

My mouth twitched as he did this, shaking my head I turned back to my kunai's. Pulling out two crystal kunais I smiled as I placed a seal on both.

"There! That's it!" Sakura said.

"Good. Okay everyone, time to put out plan into action." The much deeper and rasper voice of Yamato said.

"You're being too polite. You need to sound tougher? Meaner?" Sakura put a hand to her chin.

"Ah, that's right." Yamato nodded.

"They also seemed a lot into art..." I mumbled.

They ignored me. "He's a short-tempered man who hates waiting and making people wait." Yamato paused. "We start the plan now, got it?!"

Naruto smiled. "There you go! That's perfect!"

"Out enemy will also be on his guard. We'll be acting separately, but teamwork is the key. And Naruto, don't act before I give the signal." Yamato ordered.

I grinned patting his back." He'll be fine. Oh, Sakura-san, here." I handed her a crystal kunai, she looked at it.

"I placed a seal on it, Naruto-kun and Pervy Sage have one too." I smiled.

Her mouth formed a smile as she looked at me, "Thanks Yuki-san!"

I walked back over to Naruto, my hand skimming over Yamato's back as I did. "Let's go!" He ordered, we nodded and jumped into the trees.

Naruto, Sakura, Sai and I made our way to the spot. We crouched behind some bushes, Naruto and Sakura on either side of me. Luckily due to the wind being strong, we were able to get a little closer.

I swallowed as I was still sitting in a crouched position. My legs stiff from sitting for so long, although I did take advantage of my stillness. Absorbing natural energy I felt my physical features change. My, now wolf like, eyes widened as I recognized the chakra of the cloaked figure. 'Kabuto's the spy? Wait- i-is that Orochimaru's chakra?'

My body tenced as I wasn't sure if I should speak and say who I thought was here. 'I don't want to talk, it could blow our cover.'

Chimes of bells were heard as Yamato made his way to the bridge. The others gasped when they say Kabuto pull down his hood. 'Could this be a trap set my Orochimaru? Did he know we were coming?'

"Him again?" Naruto whispered.

"I never thought that Kabuto would be the spy." Sakura whispered back.

Taking this as a chance for me to talk I whispered, "Guys, I-I think I sense Orochimaru's chakra. I think this is a trap."

They turned to me, Naruto adn Sakura's eyes wide when they also noticed me in sage mode.

"Maybe it's a mistake?" Sakura whispered hopeful.

I looked grin, "Maybe."

We looked up just to see Orochimaru approaching. "I guess you were right, damn it." She whispered.

I clenched my teeth, 'My sage mode won't last for longer, after this I'll be back to regular strength. Yamato you better give the signal soon.'

Yamato pulled a kunai as Orochimaru appeared next to Kabuto. Quickly the medic ninja jumped over the snake and next to Yamato. "What do we do now?" Naruto demanded.

"We wait for the signal, Naruto-kun." I answered, my sage mode running down.

I cursed when Kabuto attacked Yamato. "I thought so." My sharp teeth bit my lip, sweeping my tongue over my lip I wiped off the blood. Orochimaru threw some snakes at Yamato, my muscles tense as I prepared to fight.

Luckily the snakes only got a substitution. I saw the signal first, releasing the seal I flipped over Yamato and stood in front of him. Naruto appeared next to me, his eyes blood red.

"You again?" Kabuto smirked.

"A face I've seen many times, and Yuki-chan is here too. We'll play around in a little bit, nine-tails brat, then we'll see who's stronger, you or Sasuke-kun." Orochimaru smirked.

Being next to Naruto came to my advantage. Quickly I wrapped an arm around him in a sideways hug. His eyes returned to normal as he shot me a grateful look.

Orochimaru licked his lips with his long tongue, then shot it out. His target was Naruto, acting quickly I pushed the blonde out of the way. I winced as I found myself in a choke hold, my feet dangling off the ground. I clawed at the slimy tongue as I was carried next to the snake man himself. My extra strength gone now that my sage mode had gone out.

"Yuki!" My team shouted, but stayed in their spots.

"Interesting, your teeth and eyes seemed different and that power, don't tell me you mastered sage mode!" Orochimaru grinned, I glared.

"That's none of your concern." I performed a set of hand signs. "Crystal sword!" Raising my arms I sliced at his tongue, he grinned but threw me back to Kabuto, who was able to grab both my hands.

Orochimaru's tounge retreated back into his mouth, a smirk on his face. "Kabuto, we don't want Yuki-chan doing any more jutsu's, now do we?"

Kabuto smirked. "Of course not, Lord Orochimaru." I felt pressure on my hands increase until a sickening crack was heard, followed by my screams.

"Yuki-chan! You bastards!" Naruto went to go after me, but stopped when I gave him a hard look.

Once I was sure he was going to stay I said. "So what? You can break my hands, and stop me from doing jutsu's, but I don't need hand signs for this."

I turned on the Sharingan, looking at Kabuto I set black flames. He tossed me away from him as he dodged. I stumbled before falling off the bridge. My eyes widened as I looked up to see Naruto losing control, the red cloak of chakra forming on him.

"Yuki!" I heard faintly as my head hit a rock. My vision blurred as the last thing I saw was Naruto charging for Orochimaru, and a tounge grabbing me.

I opened my eyes to see a dark room, with no windows. Looking down I saw that my feet were tighed, and my hands were tied behind my back still broken. My head throbbed, as it too, went unhealed.

'Okay, my hands are useless, so no jutsu's. Maybe I can concentrate my chakra to my hands and heal them." I closed my eyes, sweat dripping down my face as my attempts failed.

'Damn it! What ever is tieing my hands and feet together is absorbing any chakra I try to use. I can't use chakra to get out for this, and I can't heal myself.' My teeth clenched as I looked at the ground. 'All that training, and I'm still taken down so easily!'

With a sight I went into an awkward position, my kunai falling out. A small smirk appeared on my face as I saw this, 'so they must have thought I would be out for a lot longer, or they forgot to take my weapons.' Sliding my legs around the blade I tried to cut the rope. I kept doing this until I heard the snip and my legs fall apart.

Jumping up I ran to the door, my hands still bound behind me. Looking at the door I forced my legs to run over to it. Although I flew back when someone slammed it open. My eyes widened as I sw who it was.

Kabuto smirked when he saw me up. "Oh, it seems you already cut the ropes that were on your feet. Not too bad for someone without being able to use any jutsu's. But Lord Orochimaru dosen't want you escaping just yet, not when he hasen't even taken those eyes of yours. So it looks like I'm just going to have to get some better ties."

I backed up, my feet spreading as I got ready to dodge him. He saw this and lundged quickly, the chains ratteling as he tried to get me. I jumped over him, using his back I kicked him down as I got over him.

With a smirk I took off down the dimly lit halls. I panted as my feet clattered against the ground, more clatters were heard as Kabuto started running after me.

"Shit." I cursed as I took random directions as I tried to lose him. With my arms tied behind me made my balance uneven.

"Oh Yuki-chan!" Kabuto taunted as I lost him in the halls.

'I can't take on Kabuto without being able to do any jutsus, plus I'm still bleeding!' I thought as I continued to run. 'Wait- Sasuke must be here! I bet he would help if I found him!'

I squeaked when I ran into someone. Looking up I almost stopped breathing, the hope almost disappeared in me as I saw his cold eyes. "S-Sasuke." His name barely left my lips before he slammed me against the wall, a katana was placed at my neck.

"Yuki, what are you-" He stopped when he saw Kabuto, who was panting.

The silver haired jackass smirked when he saw that I was stopped. "Thank you, Sasuke. Lord Orochimaru wouldn't be happy if she got away so early. I'll take her from you now."

I looked at my team mate, my eyes almost begging for help. 'I know that you're not all bad, not yet. not enough to give me-'

My thoughts stopped when Sasuke pushed me to Kabuto. "You better keep a better eye on her." Was his reply before he walked away.

"Thank you, Sasuke. Now Yuki, I guess you're injuries weren't enough to stop you, hmm?" I gasped as Kabuto plunged a kunai in my stomach.

"There, now let's get you back to your room." I fell to the floor as a pressure point was hit, knocking me out again.

'That can't be Sasuke, no matter what he did, he couldn't be this heartless.' Was my last thought before darkness surrounded me.

 "Sasuke! Yuki-chan!" My eyes snapped open as I heard my name, along with doors slamming open. Just like the last time when I woke up I looked to the floor, my feet were chained to the floor as my arms were still tied behind me.

'I'm useless like this! I'm too weak to even walk, and my stomach wound is still unhealed! When I get out of here, I'm going to train much more.' I cursed myself just as the door slammed open.

My eyed widened as I saw two figured. Only did I relax when I saw who it was, Naruto and Sai. I managed a pained smile as I looked at Naruto, "Hey Naruto-kun." My voice hourse and barely a whisper.

"Yuki-chan!" I gasped from surprise and pain as he grabbed me in a hug.

"Um Naruto? I think you may be hurting her.." Sai mumbled.

Naruto's eyes narrowed as he looked back at Sai, still holding on to me tightly. "Yeah right!" He shouted before looking at me. "I'm not hurting you, right Yuki-chan?" He asked, but after seeing my pained face he let go.

His blue eyes widened when he finally looked at my stomach, and my hands. "H-Hey, what happened?"

I kept the forced smile on my face, as I didn't want him to see me so hurt. "It's fine, just a little stab wound, a knock in the head, and two broken hands. By the way, could you untie me?"

He nodded as me fumbled with the chains, I sighed. Finally he got too frustrated, making a hand sign. "Shadow clone jutsu!" My eyes widened as I saw what jutsu he was going to use.

"Rasengan!" I bit my lip as the chins broke off. Unable to hold myself up I fell, Naruto was quick to catch me before I fell.

He looked at me worried. "You okay?"

I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. "Just tired, I've lost a lot a bit of blood, and I'm low on chakra." Before I could try to get out of his arms and stand up, Naruto stood up, me in his arms tightly.

He grinned at me. "I got you, Yuki-chan! We'll find Sasuke, then get Sakura-chan to heal you!"

My eyes wondered over to Sai. For some odd reason, he seemed a little different from before, not as cold. I don't know how long it has been, maybe hours, or even days but for some odd reason I had a strang feeling in the pit of my stomach that he was changing, for the better.

I gave him a small smile. "Thanks Sai, for helping the team and me. I'm also sorry that I've got in the way."

Before he could say anything a explosion was heard. We shared a glance before taking off. Naruto carried me, since he refused to let me walk let alone run, towards the explosion. Sai, having being faster, disappeared.

As we neared I could see Sakura, and Sai already there. Sakura was staring upward, shocked. Naruto saw this and paused, then started running again. Although due to his own shock, he tripped losing his grip on me. I went flying out of his arms. I grunted and winced when I landed on my stomach on the floor.

"Sorry Yuki-chan." He mumbled as he pushed himself up to his feet. I used the wall to stand up, my broken hands throbbing under the pressure.

I refused Naruto's instance that he carried me. "I'm fine, really. Go!" He sighed but nodded and took off, I forced myself to follow him quickly.

I panted heavily as I stood next to Naruto, the glare of the sun blinding me. Following the blonde's gaze I saw a figure, one I recognised as Sasuke.

"Sasuke." Naruto whispered.

"Naruto, so you're here too?" Sasuke asked. "I assume Kakashi's with you, as well."

Yamato walked beside me. "Sorry, I'm not Kakashi-san. I'm here in his place, and the new team Kakashi is taking you back to Konoha."

"Team Kakashi?" Sasuke whispered.

Glancing over I saw Sai hold up his katana. Sakura turned to see this. "Sai! I knew it, you're-!"

Both Naruto and Yamato crouched as they looked at Sai, I looked at them confused. 'What did I miss?'

"So he's my replacement? Another loser joins the ranks. He said something about wanting to protect my bond with Naruto and Yuki." Sasuke said. My eyes found themselves to Sai's figure, shocked.

Sakura looked at him confused. "Sai, wasen't your mission to-"

"Yes, my secrete mission was to assassinate Sasuke." I glared at Sai. "But I don't care about my orders anymore. I want to act on my own free will. And I think Naruto, maybe even Yuki, can help me remember. What it was like to feel." My glare dropped as I looked at him, my gaze softening.

"I think it was something important. I don't know much about you, but there must be a reason why Naruto, Sakura, and Yuki came all this way for you. Even getting into fights to protect you, even though you weren't there. They're going all out to keep their bonds with you from being severed. I still don't understand it myself, but Sasuke you should." Sai demanded.

"Oh, I do. That's why I severed them." Sasuke replied in a board tone.

I looked up at him, slowly shaking my head. "I have a different bond. A bond of hatred with my brother. Other bonds merely confuse you, and distract you from your greatest desires and the emotions that matter."

Naruto looked down. "Then why? Why didn't you..? Why didn't you kill me, and-and Yuki?!" He shouted pointing to himself, then me. "Is this your idea of cutting off bonds, Sasuke?!"

Sakura looked at Naruto.

"The reason is simple. It's not that I couldn't cut off my bonds with you. The idea of doing what he said in order to become more powerful made me sick. As for you, Yuki." His dark eyes looked at me. "I didn't care if you died or not."

My jaw clenched. "What're you talking about?" Naruto shouted.

"I don't owe you any explanation's." Sasuke said. "And I'll say about back then, that day, I let you live on a whim."

Barely I saw Sasuke appear beside Naruto, swigging his arm around his shoulder. My breathing hitched from the surprise, 'When did he get so fast?!'

"Come to think of it, wasn't your dream to become Hokage?" Sasuke asked.

"You should've spent your time training instead of wasting it running and chasing me. Right, Naruto? And this time, I'm going to kill you on a whim." Sasuke drew him katana.

My legs tensed. "Someone who can't save even one friend isn't fit to become Hokage. Right, Sasuke?" Naruto asked as he stared ahead.

Glancing at Naruto, Sasuke lunged his katana. Before anyone reacted I used what little energy I had and appeared behind Naruto, my hand blocking the blade. Blood splattered to the floor as the blade went through my palm, but stopped.

I held my head down casting a shadow over my eyes. "Don't say we're wasting our time, Sasuke. Friend's don't abandon each other, and you're a friend to us- a brother. Sorry to disappoint, but we won't be giving up."

"Still protecting Naruto, huh Yuki? That wasn't the correct way to block my attack." He murmered.

Naruto fliped over Sasuke's arm, holding on to it. My cripled hands held onto his other arm. Yamato nodded, wood charged at Sasuke. His dark eyes turned bloody red.

"Chidori Nagashi!" I flew back as electricity flew through my body. My body landed on the floor as I panted. Black dots swam across my vision.

'Shit! I've lost too much blood! And that Chidori did me in.' I thought. 'I'm sorry Naruto, I can't protect you, like I promised.'

"Crying won't bring Sasuke back." I heard Sakura say as I faded back in. "I'm here too, so is Yuki. We'll get strong together."

'So, we failed again.' I tilted my head to the side, all my energy drained. 'I don't know how I even woke up again. With my injuries I'm sure I'll be dead soon, my chakra's too low and I'm still losing blood.' I looked up to see Naruto, who was hunched over, quivering as he fought tears.

"We have about six months left, right?" Sai asked, nobody seemed to notice I had woken up again. "And a team of four is better then three. Besides, I'm pretty strong myself."

I quivered as I stretched my hand out, softly placing it on Naruto's back. He jumped up to look at me, I forced a smile.

"D-Don't worry Na-Naruto-kun. We'll get S-Sasuke back." I whispered, 'I only got in the way this time, I need more training.'

"Yuki!" He grabbed me making me wince. Sakura turned to look at me, before running towards me.

Her hands glowed green as she healed me. Her eyes widened as she noticed how injured I was. "Y-Yuki! Your chakra- it's not-" She stopped seeing me. Tears filled her eyes as she tried to heal me, but something was wrong. My vision blurred as pain swelled in my chest. Her eyes widened larger in fright as she kept healing me.

A coughing fit broke through, blood splatering ou tof my mouth as the pain increased. Naruto's eyes started to widen as he saw this.

"What's w-wrong with-" He stopped seeing Sakura, who had tears in her eyes.

"Lady T-Tsunade said, she said t-that Yuki's i-illness could come back." She barely whispered as my coughing continued.

"S-Sakura," I whispered in between breaths, "My lungs."

She nodded drying her tears as she tried healing my lungs, soon the coughing stopped and the pain dulled.

Although I could tell she was low on her chakra. Yamato appeared above me, his eyes confused as he looked at me.

"Yuki-chan!" Naruto said as he picked me up. "Don't worry, I won't let you die!"

I panted as I looked up at him. 'I'm supposed to be the one to protect him, not the other way around.'

"Captain Yamato?" Sakura demanded as we ran though the trees. "Can we make it to Konoha in a day?"

He looked confused and grew consurned. "I don't know, why?"

"Yuki is in very serious condition. Her hands are broken, a stab wound in her stomach, her head is injured, and she's also lost a lot of blood along with her chakra being very low. Plus, if you didn't know, Lady Tsunade performed a surgery three years ago on Yuki. It might have to be re-done, or she could die." Sakura explained.

Yamato nodded. "I don't know, but we will have to try. Just in case I'll sent a message and have them send a medic squad on their way."

I looked back at Naruto, my eyes softening. "Don't w-worry Naruto-kun. My i-illness will be the last thing to kill me, I-I haven't seen you become H-Hokage yet." I gave a closed eye smile.

I opened my eyes when I felt water drop on my cheek as Naruto held me tighter. "You promise Yuki-chan? Promise me you won't leave me? Not even after I become Hokage, and you as my right-hand ANBU?"

He looked down at me with a sad expression, yet some hope in his eyes. I nodded, "I promise, Naruto-kun." My eyes drooped as I started to go limb as darkness surrounded me yet again.

There you go, Chapter 13! I feel like this was a very long chapter... I did want to have Yuki learn a cool jutsu, but I couldn't find any one :/ So I had this happen instead. I also figured this was a good place to stop for this chapter ^_^ Thank you all for commenting on my last chapter and voting, it really does make me happy when I see what people think about my story.  I will try to update this weekend, so you won't be left on a cliff hanger for too long, well the more comments and votes I get the faster I'll try to update. Also like last chapter, if you have any ideas you have for the story tell me and I'll see if I can add it in.
