"I told you two already, I'm in charge of the Chunin exams." Shikamaru said. "I mean, yeah, we have a long history together, so I want to lend you a hand. But I'm not in a position to do what ever I want. The fifth appointed me, so she would kill me if I rejected the offer. I get scrolled enough from my mother."

Naruto and I sighed. "We needed a smart person too." I mumbled.

"And here I was thinking, I can count on Shikamaru, but you go on talking like it's so annoying and all.." Naruto went on while we both made puppy eyes.

"Even if you look at me with those puppy eyes, what's imposable is imposable." Shikamaru sighed.

"Then I will lend a hand!" We all turned to see Choji, who handed Shikamaru some food.

"Choji!" Naruto and I shouted, grinning.

I ran up to Choji and hugged him, not noticing the small ting on pink that spread on his face.

"I knew you would come through Choji!" I cooed rubbing my cheek against his.

I stopped hearing Shikamaru's dull voice, "You sure you're free to say that Choji? Didn't you, Asuma sensei, and Ino just get a mission?"

My smile dropped slightly, I turned back to Choji, still hugging him. "I can't just abandon Naruto and Yuki after hearing that. I'll talk to Asuma sensei about it."

My smile formed again. "See! I knew I liked you much, much more than Shikamaru!" I grinned as I looked back at Shikamaru and poked my tongue at him in a childish manner.

"Yeah! Thank you Choji!" Naruto gave a thumbs up.

"It's not going to work out even if you talk to Asuma! Remember Tsunade's the one pulling all the strings here!" Shikamaru sighed again causing me to pout.

That was when I sensed another chakra presence. I quickly let go of Choji looking around for the source.

"Here's your lunch," I faintly heard Choji say.

"Thank you." Naruto replied, only for Shikamaru to reply annoyed, "That's my lunch, not yours."

I stopped paying attention as the boys talked, I haven't sensed this person in this village before, but for some reason I felt threatened.

My eyes widened as a drawing lion charged at us. I pushed the boys out of the way, a Rasengan forming in my hand.

As soon as I attacked it, it turned into ink, leaving me surprised. Another lion charged behind Naruto and Shikamaru.

Naruto noticed, "Shikamaru! Behind you!" He shouted, only for Choji to grab it, his hand inlarging then crush it. I looked for the person attacking, I saw a person sitting on a roof top.

"I've never seen him before, but that's definitely a leaf symbol on his forehead protector!" Naruto said.

"Well, I already don't like him, attacking up like that." I mumbled as I took out a kunai charging.

"Hey! Yuki-chan! Wait up!" Naruto shouted going after me.

I noticed him making a hand sign. Just as lions formed out of a scroll I threw the marked kunai. It got past the lions as I released the seal, catching the kunai I stood ready to fight the pale ninja.

 I ran at the ninja, kunai in hand. A clash was heard as he blocked my kunai with a katana. "Who the hell are you!" Naruto shouted as he landed behind me.

I pushed him back then jumped backwards towards Naruto. I clenched my teeth as Naruto charged, only to be in the same position I was in.

The pale boy offered a fake closed eye smile as he blocked the kunai.

"You're kind of a pussy, aren't you?" He inquired. "Do you even have any balls?" My eye twitched as he insulted Naruto.

Naruto growled, "I said, who the hell are you!" He pushed him away. I saw Shikamaru's shadow crawl towards the pale ninja. He saw it and avoided it.

"It seems that she has more balls than you." He smiled a hallow smile again at Naruto. Both Naruto and I turned pink, both from anger.

"We will meet again, Naruto-kun, Yuki-chan." He formed a hand sign before poofing away.

"Damn it." I whispered. "Wait- how the hell did he know our names?"

"Hi Naruto, Yuki! Long time no see!" I turned to see Ino.

I waved back then nudged Naruto. "Just wave, I know Ino and us never really got along, but be nice." He looked at me, then chuckled and waved back.

"Hey Sakura-san!" I shouted as Naruto and I waved at her."This id where we're supposed to me up, right?" Naruto asked looking around.

"Yup." Sakura smiled.

"But no one's here yet." Naruto complained.

"Great, another Kakashi." I mumbled.

"Jeeze. Did Granny really get new members for our team?" Naruto went on.

"It'll be okay." Sakura assured.

"If we get lucky it will be a female." I leaned into Sakura whispering. "Or maybe a hot guy." I laughed as Sakura giggled and looked dreamy.

That was when the pale guy from earlier steped ou tof the building. "Hello." He fake smiled.

"You!" Naruto and I shouted pointing at the boy.

"You're the boy from the roof earlier!" I accused.

I didn't notice the second male come out of the building. "I'll be acting as Kakashi-san's replacement for this team..."

He trailed off due to the murderous looks Naruto and I were giving to the pale boy.

Sakura turned to us, "You two know him?"

"Yeah," Naruto growled. "He attacked Yuki-chan and I when we were with Shikamaru's team a while ago."

Sakura's look changed as she looked back at the pale ninja. Naruto pulled a kunai, the other ninja placed a hand on his katana. I stepped in between the two, a glare fixed on the other ninja. "Let's not fight. If we are going to be able to work together we need to call a truce."

"Exacily Yuki. Knock it off Naruto." From the corner of my eye I saw another man step forward.

"Hey, come to think of it, who are you." Naruto asked.

"I am acting as the team's captain while Kakashi-san is in the hospital. Call me Yamato." He offered a smile.

"Captin Yamato?" Sakura asked, he nodded.

Yamato turned to the two boys, "Yuki's right. Since you guys are on the same team, it'ss cause a lot of problems if you don't get along."

Naruto and Sakura looked shocked, "Same team as him!?"

"Did you two really not put that together? We knew we were meeting them, just not who they were." I mumbled as I kicked up dust, my muscles tense ready to stop, or to fight.

"I'm sorry about before. I wanted to knwo how strong you two were, since we're on the same team." He still had that fake smile.

As the kunai went back in Naruto's sleeve He said, "You didn't have to go that far..."

"Thanks to our little encounter, I learned that you're a useless, ball-less pantywaist. Yuki has more balls then you. She may be of more use." He smiled.

"What was that! You asshole!" Naruto shouted as Sakura held him back. My fist clenched hard enough to draw blood.

"He's out team mate Naruto! Don't go starting fights, see Yuki's doing fine. And you, you're really being a jerk." Sakura mumbled.

'This guy says one more bad thing about Naruto, Sakura, or me. I will lose it.' I thought as I tried to calm myself.

He fake laughed, "Oh really?"

"If you keep acting like that, everyone will hate you." Sakura continued.

"Oh? But I really like ugly bitches like you."

Yamato held Sakura back then. I turned to look at our pale team mate fully, his eyes were closed as he offered another fake smile.

Walking towards him, without anyone stopping me I kneed him in the crotch. As he knelt down to grab it in pain I knelt down to him.

"Don't ever! Talk bad about Naruto-kun, Sakura-chan, or anyone on team seven again! Or I will make sure your balls get worse, maybe make you unable to reproduce." With that I got up and walked away.

"Before you leave, please introduse yourself." Yamato looked at me.

I made a face. "Yuki Okami."

"Naruto Uzumaki."

"Sakura Haruno."

"My name is Sai."

"Okay, I guess that;s enough-" I didn't let Yamato finish as I turned to walk away.

"Hey! Yukki-san, where are you going?" Sakura yelled.

"Away from Sai! I'm sure if you need me you or Naruto can find me." I replied with a wave as I walked away

"But we're going to explain the mission!" Sakura protested.

"Tell me later! You'll know where to find me." I shouted back as I took off running.

I ran for my appartment first. Entering I grabbed everything I would need and shoved it in a backpack.

"Stupid team mate." I mumbled as I shoved things into the backpack. "Who does he think he is? Calling us that?!" I shoved some weapons into another space. "If I have to deal with that, he will not be able to reproduce at the end of this mission." I threw on the backpack.

A knock was heard at my door, I walked- more like stomped towards it. I opened it to see Sakura, she looked as ticked off as I was.

"Hey Yuki." She mumbled.

"Hello Sakura." I stepped outside with my backpack and locked the door.

"You packed up?" I asked as I slid the key in my bad, she nodded and walked beside me.

"Wanna go eat before we leave for the mission? Naruto was gonna meet us for ramen." She offered with a smile.

I smiled back softly. "I would, but I have to stop by the K.I.A stone. So I'll meet you at the gates in a hour. See you Sakura-san!" I waved as I ran off.

"Okay, byt Yuki-san!"She replied.

I almost made it to the K.I.A stone, but I stopped. Looking over I saw four boys with headbands picking on a academy student.

One grabbed her strange cat ears, pulling her up. "I heard you were picking on my little brother." One sneered as he leaned in.

One of her eyes were closed as she fought back tears, she was covered in scratches and bruises.

"He started it!" She replied only for one to punch her in the stomach, she gagged.

"Who's gonna help you? You're mommy and Daddy? Oh yeah! Their not here!" Another boy sneered.

"Just watch! I'll become a ninja in a week!" She shouted as she struggled against their hold on her ears.

"Like they would let a outsider like you become a ninja." One of the boys said.

I jumped down from the tree I was in, I pushed one of the boys away from the girl.  "What's wrong with you boys! Leave her alone!" I shouted as I grabbed her from the one that had been holding her cat ears.

"That's none of your business girlie!" One shouted.

"I'm making it my business, you are supposed to be a ninja who protect, not harm students! People like you are just scum!" I spat at their feet.

"Oh yeah!" One pulled a kunai.

As he charged I formed hand signs, "Jade crystal blade". As I blocked it with my crystal I realized how weak he was.

"Wait! That's crystal chakra! Guys she's not a Genin, that's Yuki Okami, she's a chunin!" With that they all ran like cockroaches.

I stuck my tounge out at them before turning to the girl. I gave a small smile to her, she had cat-like pink eyes, and black cat ears. Slowly I knelt down to her.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah! That was nothing!" She winces as she stood up.

"Here." My hands glowed green as I healed what cuts and bruised she had.

"So why were they doing that?" I asked.

"Because on of the boys little brother has been picking on me since I got here about my ears, so I beat him up. He was to wimpy to settle it like a man and sent his older brother to fight!." I smiled at her, she was a strong girl.

"How does he tease you?" I asked again as I finished healing her.

"Well, he says that I'm weird because I have cat ears- he calls me a demon!  I used to like them because they were from my clan, but maybe it is a bad thing. Also he picks on me because my parents are gone- my whole village is!" She looked down.

"Hey cheer up! I think you're cat-like pink eyes are ears are beautiful and cute. As for the parents, don't feel bad. I knwo it hurts, hey do you know a boy named Naruto Uzumaki?" I looked at her.

She nodded pouting.

"He didn't have any parents, people are always mean to him. But you know what? He trained and earned everyone's respect, just like I'm sure you will. Don't change because of those stupid people, you're cat ears and eyes are from your clan, take pride in that. It means that you're different and it sets you away from people, in a good way." I smiled as I stood up.

"H-Hey!" I looked back at her.

"Yeah?"

"What's your name?" She asked.

"Yuki, yours?" I smiled causing her to do the same.

"Akami from the Dobutso village!" She shouted.

"Well, I have a mission to go to, see you around." I waved as I walked away.

"Just watch Yuki! When you get back I'll have a headband!" She shouted at me.

I chuckled, "Okay, I'm counting on it!"

End of Chapter 10! Pic on the side is what Akami bacicaly looks like. Only she looks a little younger, and her eyes are more pink. I'm going to try to upload another chapter today, no promises though.
