Backstory: When she was 13 her family was living in the slums. They had been her whole life. Just before her 14th birthday her mother was murdered by her father, trying to prove himself to his leader. She ran away that night, after she discovered her mom lying in a pool of blood, a bullet through her head.  She  grew up on the streets until she was 16, when she was taken in by a boxing instructor, who became her family, and she taught her how to defend herself, how to fight, and Mercedes  picked it up right away. She still lives with her to this day, yet she doesnt know what shes been doing at night.

How are they achieving their goal: She's delivering Karma to those who've wronged this city.
