The Rapture -- Jimmy Escapes
~*****~
I give a soft groan when I feel Dean brushing his fingers over my face. "Good morning, beautiful," Dean hums softly as I curl into his arms. "It's a great morning and wait till you hear why."
"Would you hurry up?" I hear Sam snap.
Dean just laughs and kisses me softly. "What happened?" I murmur sleepily.
"Jimmy gave Sam the slip," Dean chuckles.
I snort and begin to laugh. "Sorry-- uh, this is funny to you?" Sam snaps as we get up slowly.
"Mr. Big Bad Prison Guard, and Jimmy McMook gives you the slip? Yeah, it's pretty funny." Dean giggles. "Lottie was just gonna ask him to stay for a day or so."
"What the hell were you up to, anyway?" I ask as I tug on a pair of jeans.
"I was getting a coke." Sam states.
I snort and let my gaze slide over to him. Something about him is giving off the aura of being dirty. "Was it a refreshing coke?" I ask haughtily.
Sam sighs through his nose. "Can we just go, please?"
Dean and I snort before heading our different directions. "Sure thing," I murmur under my breath.

I sigh softly as I lean against the window in the back seat, my legs angled upwards as if it would relax me more. "Hey, guys--" I give an ungodly shout and end up kicking Sam in the back of the head as the Impala swerves. "Smooth." Anna huffs as she rights herself from my shove.
"God, all you friggin' angels need a damn bell!" I snap at her. "Jesus, I think my heart stopped."
Anna just smiles. "I like the element of surprise."
Dean sighs loudly. "What the hell are you doing here, anyway?" Dean asked.
"You guys let Jimmy get away," She simply says.
I scoff. "Oh, no, talk to Ginormo here," I mention as I pat at Sam's shoulder.
Sam scrunches up his shoulders in embarrassment. "Sam. You seem... different." Anna comments.
"Me?" Sam asks. "I don't know. Haircut?" Sam chuckles.
"That's not what I'm talking about," Anna hums. She glances at me and I avoid her gaze. "So, what'd Jimmy tell you? He remember anything?"
"Why? What's going on?" Dean asks.
"It's Cass. He got sent back home." Anna explains. "Well, more like dragged back."
"To Heaven?" I ask. "That's not a good thing?"
"No, that's a very bad thing." Anna retorts. "Painfully, awfully bad. He must have seriously pissed someone off."
"Castiel said he had something to tell me-- something important." I mentioned.
"What?" Anna asks.
"I don't know." I sigh.
"Does Jimmy know?"
"I don't think so." Dean sighs.
"You don't think so?" Anna asks quickly. "Whatever it is, it's huge. You got to find out for sure."
"That's why we're going after Jimmy," Sam states.
"That's why you shouldn't have left him go in the first place," Anna snaps back. "He's... probably dead already."

When we arrive at Jimmy's, it's apparent that something is going down. There's the stench of sulfur sticking to the air. We burst into the house, and Dean goes for the man holding Jimmy's daughter. "Get them out of here-- now!" I shout back as I urge the girl towards her mother.
"Go, go!" Dean shouts.
Sam desperately tries to kill the demon that held Jimmy down, but nothing happens, and the demon just smirks. "Aw, can't get it up, can you, Sam?"
"No, but I can--" Dean snaps as he surges forward to kill her, but the bitch expels from the body.
"Move-- get out of here, now--" I snap at them. We hurry out of the house. "Where's your wife!?"
"Right here," She gasps softly while running back towards us.
"Get in the car, let's go, let's go--" Dean urges.
We stop just outside of town, Jimmy's wife and daughter are fast asleep in the Impala when Jimmy decides to speak with us. "You were right," Jimmy sighs.
"I'm sorry that we were," I shrug.
"But I'm telling you-- I don't know anything." Jimmy says.
I smile softly. "Yes, well, they're not inclined to believe you. And even if they did, you're the vessel of an angel. They're still gonna want to know what makes you tick."
"Which means, vivisection... if they're feeling generous." Dean comments.
"I'm gonna tell you once again--" Sam states. "You're putting your family in danger. You have to come with us."
Jimmy glances back at his family, the sorrow rolling off of him. "How long?" He asks after a moment of watching them. "And don't give me that Cross that Bridge when we get to it, crap."
"Don't you get it?" Sam snapped. "Forever. The demons will never stop. You can never be with your family. So, you either get as far away from them as possible, or you put a bullet in your head, and that's how you keep your family safe, but there's no getting out and there's no going home."
I scratched at my head irritably. "You gonna take him out to dinner if you're gonna ride him that hard?" I ask angrily.
"I'm just telling him the truth, Lottie." Sam snapped. "Someone has to."
Sam storms off and Jimmy goes to speak with his wife. I turn to Dean and sigh. "He's getting worse, Dean," I comment softly. "I think he's completely out."
"I noticed that," Dean nodded. "C'mon. Let's go get car for them."
I point out a small sedan. "That model is easy to break into. I can do it. Why don't you watch over them while I do that."
Dean beams and presses a soft kiss to my head before I trail off to the old sedan sitting at the edge of the parking garage.

"Okay, so, uh... here's your car." I hum softly as I successfully hotwire it. I offer the girl a smile and lean down to her. "Don't worry about your father too much, okay?" I mutter softly. "You'll reunite. Soon."
Claire smiles and nods. I slip into the Impala and gaze out as Jimmy says his final goodbyes to his family. As much as I wanted to let them stay together, Jimmy would only bring trouble until we could stop them from getting to him.
Jimmy slips into the seat beside me, heaves out a soft sigh, and turns his gaze onto his family as we pull away. When he finally dozes off, I set my gaze onto Sam. "You want to tell us what the hell happened back there?" I ask softly.
"What?" Sam asked.
"You practically fainted trying to gank a demon." Dean mentions.
Sam snorts. "Okay, I didn't faint. I got a little dizzy."
"Well, you can call it whatever you want. Point is, you used to be strong enough to kill Alastair. Now you can't even kill stunt demon number three?" Dean states.
"What do you want me to say about it, Dean?" Sam asks.
"For starters, what's going on with your mojo?" Dean snaps. "I mean, it's yo-yo'ing all over the place. Now, I'm not trying to pick a fight here, okay? I just-- y-you're scaring us, man."
"I'm scaring myself." Sam says softly. Dean glances back at me for a brief moment before Sam's cell begins to ring. "Hello?" He hums. He's silent for a moment. "Who is this?" Sam glances at the phone in confusion and turns around. "Hey," He nudges Jimmy. He holds the phone out. "It's your wife."
Jimmy shakes the grogginess out of his head that moment and sits up straight. He takes the cell from Sam. "Amelia?" Jimmy is silent, listening to his wife speak. He murmurs softly after a few moments, the color draining from his face. "Oh, my god."
