Heaven and Hell -- Grace

Dean rubbed at my back distractedly as I held an ice pack to my pounding head. "Don't be afraid. I'm not like the others." Anna answers.
"I don't find that very reassuring." Ruby retorts.
"Neither do I." Pamela adds.
"So... Castiel, Uriel-- they're the ones that came for me?" Anna asks.
"You know them?" Sam asks.
"We were kind of in the same foxhole." Anna answers.
"So, what, they're like, you're bosses, or something?" I ask.
"Try the other way around." Anna says.
I snort. "Well, look at you."
"But now, they want to kill you?" Pamela asks.
"Orders are orders." Anna shrugs. "I'm sure I have a death sentence on my head."
"Why?" Pamela asks.
"I disobeyed... Which, for us, is about the worst thing you can do." Anna retorts as she glances at me. "I fell."
"Meaning?" Dean asks.
"She fell to Earth, became human." I retort.
"Wait a minute, I don't understand." Sam says. "So, Angels can just become human?"
"It kind of hurts," Anna explains. "Try cutting your kidney out with a butter knife. That kind of hurt. I ripped out my grace."
"Come again?" Dean asked.
"Grace," I retorted. "It's energy." I snap my fingers, and a small spark explodes from the skin of my fingers. Dean shunts back a little. "Don't ask me how I know, I just do, okay?" I turned my gaze up to Anna. "Did you remove it? Or did someone else?"
Anna shrugged. "I hacked it out and fell. My mother, Amy, couldn't get pregnant. Always called me her little miracle. She had no idea how right she was."
"So, you just forgot that you were god's little power ranger?" Dean asks.
"The older I got, the longer I was human, yeah." Anna nods.
"I don't think you all appreciate how completely screwed we are." Ruby puts in.
"Ruby's right. Heaven wants me dead." Anna states.
"And Hell just wants her." Ruby adds. "A flesh-and-blood angel that you can question, torture, that bleeds. Sister, you're the Stanley Cup. And sooner or later, Heaven or Hell, they're gonna find you."
"I know." Anna hums. "And that's why I'm gonna get it back."
"What?" Sam asks.
"My grace." Anna retorts.
"You can do that?" Dean asks.
"If I can find it."
"So, what, you're just gonna take some divine bong hit, and shazam, you're Roma Downey?" Dean asks.
"Something like that." Anna shrugs.
"All right. I like this plan." Dean comments. "So, where's this grace of yours?"
"Lost track." Anna answers sheepishly. "I was falling about ten thousand miles per hour at the time."
"Wait, you mean falling, like, literally?" Sam asks.
"Yes." Anna nods.
"Like the way a human eye can see?" Sam continues. "Like a comet maybe or a meteor?"
"Why do you ask?" Anna asks.
"Just let the nerd do his research." I comment and flip the ice pack.

I sighed softly as I leaned against the tile of the shower. "You okay, baby?" I hear Dean question. I lift my head and peer at the curtain. I hum in response and gaze upwards as the curtain shifts and Dean's head pokes in. "Hello, gorgeous."
I roll my eyes at him and stand up straight. I tilt my head backwards and heave out another sigh. "You know, if there's one thing in this world that I could keep the same? It's the damn showers. We visit too many hotels where the hot water runs out after twenty minutes."
Dean chuckled and I feel his hands slide around my hips. "I don't know, that motel out in Reno really hit the spot."
I rest my head on his shoulder and scoff. "The hot tub had like, sixteen frogs inside of it. I swear you've got a wart on your butt."
Dean laughs and kisses my cheek. "It's just a scar!" He exclaims. "Damn, that is a good view." Dean comments after a moment of silence.
"I can tell." I retort playfully. "Has Sam found anything yet?"
Dean groans. "D'you gotta mention my brother while you're all naked like this?"
I raised my brow at him. "We have all the time in the world for dirty stuff, but right now, we kinda have some pressing needs."
"Oh, I got a pressing need." Dean comments before enveloping my mouth in a searing kiss. Deliberately, Dean presses his erection against my backside, undulating his hips as if to entice me into staying.
I pull away with a laugh and shut the shower off. "Dean, seriously. I promise, once this is all over, we can get back to whatever this was turning into."
Dean beams at me. "Freaky positions in the shower? That's kinda dangerous." I roll my eyes at him before tossing the extra towel at him. "Hey, what's bothering you?" Dean asks.
"Anna says I'm not one of God's Creations." I mention softly after a moment.
Dean raised a brow as he secured his towel around his waist. "All right... So, then what did she say?"
"Mom banged God." I retort bitterly. Dean's brows furrowed. I scratch at my head tiredly before waving my hand a little. "My biological father, apparently isn't Charles Adrian Bellway..."
A look of realization washes over Dean. "Oh... Oh! God got his second coming?"
"Stop!" I bark loudly before stomping out of the bathroom, embarrassment flooding my face as Dean cracks up at his own little joke.

"Union, Kentucky," Sam points out on the map when we finally regroup in the dining room. "Found some accounts of a local miracle." Dean hums in response. "Yeah, in '85, there was an empty field outside of town. Six months later, there was a full-grown oak. They say it looks a century old at least."
"Anna, what do you think?" I question.
Anna nods. "The grace. Where it hit, it could have done something like that, easy."
Dean's brow furrows. "So, grace ground zero-- it's not destruction. It's..."
"Pure creation." Anna nods again.
We all glance at one another. "We'd better hit the road then," I mention as I stand up straight.

It was uncomfortable to be sitting in the back, sandwiched between Anna and Ruby. I've never lost a coin flip for window seat. But I sure as hell did today. Dean chuckles in the front seat. "What?" Ruby questions.
"Nothing..." Dean snorts. "It's just... an angel, demon, and Jesus riding in the backseat. It's like the setup to a bad joke... Or a penthouse forum letter."
"Dude. Reality..." Sam states very clearly. "Porn."
Dean snorts again. "You call this reality?"
"He's got a point, Sam." I mention irritably. "Not sure I appreciate being apart of the bad joke though."
"Or Penthouse Forum Letter!" Dean reminds me. I roll my eyes and slump back in my seat.
It's daytime when we arrive in Union, Kentucky. "It's beautiful," I comment softly as we approach the large oak. There was a strange power ebbing in the area. I could feel it. Demonic energy usually felt so heavy, and oppressing, but this-- this was like walking into a cool store on a hot summer day.
"It's where the grace touched down." Anna hummed softly. "I can feel it."
"You ready to do this?" I question.
"Not really," Anna retorts softly. She approaches the tree, her gaze never leaving the beautiful tree, not even for a second.
"Anna, what are we even looking for?" Sam asks.
Anna places a palm on the tree for a moment before shaking her head. "It doesn't matter. It's not here. Not anymore. Someone took it."
We all share worried glances before heading back.

The others are inside arguing. I remain outside, my gaze locked onto the dark forest around us, listening to the angels chanting wildly in my head. And it wasn't good. Not by a long shot. I rub at my arms and heave out a sigh. "Lottie," I flinch and gaze over at Dean as he exits the shack. "You all right?"
I nod and rub my arms again. "Listening to the angels. It's causing one hell of a headache."
"About uh... returning Anna or... I get thrown back into damnation?" Dean questions in a joking tone. I smirk and turn back to the dark forest. "You... You told Uriel you killed one of the other angels, didn't you?"
I nod lightly. "When Sam and I were trapped with those other psychic people. He wanted me to dispose of them-- Sam included. When I'd told him no, we got into an argument, one thing led to another, and... I fried his insides. I... don't know if that means I killed him, though." I shrug again. "I'm... worried. Everyday my powers grow, and everyday, I hear more and more pleas for help, or angel radio. It's never silent anymore. Not entirely. It's like I've got a fly in my ear and it won't leave." Dean grasps at my arm softly, tugging me to his side and curling his arms around me. "Is it cliché to say when I'm near you, I don't hear anything?"
Dean chuckles. "Totally cliché, this isn't a chick flick." Dean comments impishly. "If I can silence that brain of yours, why don't I distract you-- just for a while. So you can rest."
I roll my eyes. "Whatever you're planning, it sure isn't rest, Dean Winchester."
Dean grins before dragging me to the Impala, and sprawls me out in the backseat. He's rough today-- every mind melting kiss is wilder than the last, leaving me breathless.
The heavy press of his cock sinking into my core makes me shudder. I give a sharp inhale at Dean's hips slamming into mine, coaxing out my orgasms quickly, and efficiently. I'm a trembling mess in no time.
"Too much," I murmur delicately, my nails ripping down his back as he angles his hips at that perfect spot, sending me hurdling towards another orgasm. "You're too much tonight, Dean," I whimper again as my legs refuse my pleas of release, and lock around his hips.
"Am I?" Dean chuckles lowly, his teeth tugging at my ear before he kisses me again. "Your body sure ain't listening to you, baby," Dean growls at my nails once again scraping down his back. "Just a little more, baby, okay?" Dean whispers. "That's it--" He grunts as my insides squeeze and flutter against him. "You're perfect-- that's right, baby--" Dean lets out a strangled grunt as he finally snaps his hips to mine before tugging out quickly. I feel a hot flush cover my skin as Dean empties himself over my belly and breasts, heaving softly as he cups at my face, gazing down at me as if I'm the most precious thing on the planet. "I love you." He says softly, his gaze sweeping down my body for a second, sending a delicious shudder through him. "I love you so much."
"I love you too," I murmur sleepily. I can't manage to keep my eyes open. It's silent for once, aside from Dean's breathing and his constant adoring words. I can sleep to that.
