Mars's POV

As I drove off I was furious, not only with Maria but with Shane I trusted him with my sister but he kept on beating the living daylight out of her. I learnt that he used to hit her through him and how he would brag about it but never did I think he would continue and she was being a weak bitch when she tried to kill her self.  It was dumb of her, it was just not right and down right selfish. We were much younger when I found out about him putting his hands on her but he swore that he would stop.

There were rumors that he would make her have sex with others but I never believed them, maybe Kylie wasn't even his. They were all my friends and would say that Shane would make her suck them off but I never asked, I could never believe that Maria would do such thing but now it's all sinking in. Maybe she did but was it because of Shane? Was he forcing her? He says he loves his daughter and also Maria but his actions says otherwise.

I was looking for Shane, he would always say where he was heading to when he left Maria at times. I knew where he was at all times when he would walk out on her, I knew where he was because usually I helped him. I know I'm suppose to be on her side but with the bounty he has over my head there isn't much I could do. I had to be on his side I had no choice, I decided to just go to the gym knowing it was locked I still went. Charles would have locked up by now but working there I had an advantage of having the keys I refused my father's offer to work with him for now. I pulled up to the parking lot and got out unlocked the gym I walked through the back to get some boxing gloves and decided to blow my steam off by punching it out, maybe I'll just wait for him to come find me .

After a couple of hours of boxing I decide to lock up, I went to clean my self up by the lockers after taking a bath before going home, I would see my family later today now being three in the morning. After refreshing myself I left the locker room going out ready to lock up to see Shane sitting on one of the exercising machines smirking up at me, he quickly jumped to his feet greeting me with one of our manly hugs I had to keep my calm any slip up and he would have me down.

" Look at you still working out, I thought you only trained others now. " He laughed heatedly while smacking me on the ass the way he looked at me I kind of felt guilty he was with my sister and I left my pregnant wife with a friend I should get back to them, Shane and I once had an intimate relationship when we were much younger and he always threatened me with that information. I decided that it would be best to ask him about the situation with him and Maria before leaving. 

" Why are you doing this to her? " I  watched him closely when his facial expression went blank and cold you could feel the tension in the air around us it was obvious.

" Why do you even care? " he asked

" She's my sister Shane " I replied back, I hated him for doing this.

" Tell me you care when I'm deep inside of you, tell me you care when I have you all hot and bothered, I have you wrapped around my finger Mars believe it or not and you don't even think about your pregnant wife when I'm inside of you." He said all in one breath sounding upset.

" I can't Shane, this is it I'm done, we're done. This should've ended years ago." I said while shaking my head I suddenly saw him pull out a hand gun and I backed up " You don't have to do this man "

" When I said I fucking loved you I meant it, leave me and I'll  blow your brains out and  I'll do the same to Cathy and your fucking unborn child." After his final words he walked out leaving me speechless.
