(Emma's pov)

I regretted my decision.

The shadowy figures come out of the shadows and introduce themselves. One had blonde hair and blue eyes, while the other one had brown hair and green eyes. They looked at each other then at me.

"Guess who's awake?" The blonde one said. The rhetorical question that any super-villain in comics say, being "detective obvious".

"Hello, sweetheart, my name is Victor and this is my partner, Lucan." Victor said pointing at his partner.

"Hi!" Lucan said smiling sweetly. Victor smacked his arm,"We are supposed to be evil"

Lucan said ''oh'' and changed his expression.

"What the hell do you want from me?!" I say getting straight to the point.

"Wow, a girl wanting to get straight to the point? Fine, I'll tell you, but first, are you Mia?" Victor says waiting for me to respond. I shake my head no. "Well, this is going to be hard to explain.... Mia has special parents,we don't know much about them,but all we know is that we need something from them the only way that we can get to them is through Mia. The plan was to capture her and lore her parents over here with the object that we need. We do not know what the boss wants with it, but he said he will give us half the price, and if it's money, it's going to be great."

I was super confused, but I didn't question them. While I was thinking, they went back into the shadows to call this "Boss". After a few minutes, they come back with a syringe with some blue liquid

And they come my way.
