Maddie walked into the kitchen in the Academy to see Five "What are you doing, Jumpy Guy?" she asked and he let out a smile.

"I'm making my favorite snacks" he replied "Can I get a bite?" she asked "No. This peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich is mine" he said "Come on, one bite" she said "No. If you're so hungry, made one for yourself" he said "Someone is grumpy today, is it your time of the month?" she asked and he rolled his eyes before he looked at her causing him to get lost in her eyes.

She hit me like a blinding light and I was born

"Is there anyone home?" Maddie asked as she waved her hand in front of Five's face and he blinked a few times with his eyes "Yeah, sorry, just thought about something" he said and she tilted her head while smiling at him.

"I forgot my mug in my room, I will be right back. Don't touch my food" Five said before he blinked away and she looked at the sandwich before smiling.

Five blinked back a minute later but only to find his plate empty and his sandwich gone "What the hell?" he asked before he turned his head to look at Maddie who swallowed the last bite of the sandwich.

"Did you eat it?" he asked "Maybe" she said "You ate my sandwich" he said "Do you have proof?" she asked "No" he said "Then it wasn't me" she said "I don't need proof when I know that I was only gone for a minute and you were the only one left in the kitchen when I was gone. So who else could it be?" he asked "It was a Klaus" she said "No it was not" he said "It was Diego or Ben" she said and Five raised an eyebrow.

"Okay. It wasn't them" she said "I know" he said "It was a raccoon" she said "A raccoon?" he asked and you nodded "Yeah, it just came in through the opened window and took your sandwich, I told it not to do it, but it just looked at me before running away with your sandwich. I tried to stop it but it was a tough raccoon" she said and Five gave her a look while he smiled.

"I know it was you Maddie and you're gonna pay" he said "Well, you just have to catch me" she said before she used her powers, holding Five still before she turned around and ran away.

When she was too far away, her powers on Five stopped and he was released "Okay, that's not fair. It's on now" he said before he started running after her.

Both of them was smiling as Five was chasing Maddie.

"You will never caught me" he said "Never say never, Love" Five said as the two kept running.

Five chased Maddie through the library where Vanya was playing on her violin and she smiled as she saw Five chasing Maddie with they were both smiling.

"Out of the way" Maddie said as she ran past Klaus, Freddy and Ben who stepped back so Maddie wouldn't hit them.

"Where is the fire? Cause I have not set one yet" Klaus said "Stole Five's snacks and now he is chasing me" Maddie said as she ran past them and not even two seconds later Five came running past Ben, Freddy and Klaus.

"You're so dead" he said causing Klaus, Freddy and Ben to let out a laugh "Those lovebirds, they are so adorable" Klaus said "They are" Ben said "Romeo and Juliet" Freddy said as the three brothers smiled.

"Okay you have had your fun" Five said before he blinked over to Maddie, wrapping his arms around her torso so she couldn't get away.

"Got you. Are you saying you're sorry" he said "Nope" she said "I won" he said "Nope you didn't and I will never yield" she said "Well, then it's time for another round" he said "No Five, not that" she said.

But Five just lifted her up before he blinked them to his room and he put both her on the bed before he started trickling her.

The two were both laying on Five's bed and Five's back was facing the wall as he had his right arm around Maddie, holding her down while he with his other hand was tickling her.

"Five, stop it" she said as she kept laughing "First when you tell me that you're sorry and that you yield " he said as he kept tickling her "Never" she laughed "Then I will never stop" he said as he kept tickling her making her to laugh even more causing tears to appear in her eyes.

Well, I've been holding back so much I'm in reverse
And buying her that drugstore diamond made it worse
Like the silver on her skin stood for something; a promise

Five then moved his hand to her arm pit "No, no. Five. Not there" she said but he just smiled before he started tickling her there, 'cause he knew that she hate being tickling there.

I don't wanna burn out quick if she's the one
Like the fire in between a bullet and the gun

"Okay, okay. I give up, you win" she laugh and Five stopped before they started panting.

Because she's brighter than Vegas, hotter than Hades
Cool enough to make you freeze
But there's just one thing that I haven't told her

Maddie then turned her head to look at him "I hate you so much" she said and he smiled "I hate you too" he said and she smiled as the two stared into each other's eyes.

"Promise me that you will never leave me" she said "I promise. I will never leave you alone, I promise" he said and she lifted her right hand and put it on his left cheek.

Five just stared into her beautiful eyes as she was staring into his.

Am I just a fool to believe this is it, this is it?

Right there Five knew that he was certain that he was in love with Maddie, of course he have like her a little more than a friend. But as the two got older, he started having a crush on her, just like she had a crush on him. Five thought it was just a childhood crush but as the two grow older, the more time they spend with each other, Five's feelings for her grew and he realized that he was in love with her, there was no doubt about it.

But he was too shy to tell her and he were also scared that she didn't felt the same way and she would reject him and it will break their friendship.

Even so they are both only 12, they have both realized and understand now what people can mean to each other and what people mean when they say love is the best feelings.

The two, just stared into each other's eyes "Promise me that you will never hate me" she said "I promise that I will never hate you and I will always like you, and no matter what happens, I will always find my way back to you" he said before he put his left hand on her right cheek "We will always find our way back to each other" she said and he nodded.

The two then started leaning closer to each other causing their nose to touch.

She hit me like a blinding light and I was born

But as their lips were inches from each other the door was opened and Klaus enter causing the two of you to pull away "Five, you..." but he stopped himself when he saw the position Maddie and Five were laying "Oh my God" Klaus said "It's not what you think Klaus" Maddie said "Oh my God" Klaus said with a big smile on his face "No. Klaus" Five said "Oh my God" Klaus said a little louder.

"Maddie and Five sitting in a tree" Klaus started singing "No, Klaus. It's not like that. We were just talking" Five said as both Maddie's and Five's face turned red in embarrassment.

"MADDIE AND FIVE SITTING IN A TREE" Klaus said in a singing voice before he turned around and ran out the door.

"MADDIE AND FIVE IS SITTING IN A TREE" he kept singing "KLAUS" Five shouted before he got up from the bed and ran after his brother to stop him before he could spread the rumor.

"Stop it Klaus" Five said as he grabbed his brother's shoulder before he turned him around.

"I'm sorry for ruin your little moment. But I saw you guys kissing" Klaus said "We didn't kiss, we were just playing" Five said "Come on, you guys are more obviously than Luther and Allison. But you guys are finally a couple, I'm so happy for you" Klaus said "We're not a couple" Maddie said as she walked out of the room.

"We're just friends" Five said and Maddie nodded "Maddie and Five are sitting in a tree" Klaus sang "Klaus stop it" Five said.

"What is going on here?" Pogo asked as he walked over to the three.

"Klaus is teasing us in that Maddie and I are a couple" Five said "I didn't knew you made it official" Pogo joked and Maddie and Five rolled their eyes "We're not a couple" Five said again out loud.

Pogo then looked at Klaus "Master Klaus, stop teasing Miss Maddie and Master Five" Pogo told him before he looked at Maddie and Five "And if you don't like each other like that, then don't made it so obviously. Stop denying it or hiding it" he said before he turned around walked away.

Maddie and Five looked at each other before looking back at Klaus "You two are soo...." Klaus said "Stop it" Five said "Next time, you should put a tie on the door cause then we know that you---" Klaus said but stopped himself when he saw Five's angry eyes on him as he clenched his fists "You're dead" he said "Oh shit" Klaus said before he turned around and ran away "Get back here" Five said before he ran after Klaus while Maddie just laughed.

She loved that Five was so caring, supporting and protective towards her.

Later that evening Reginald was in Five's room talking to him about Maddie.

"Remember Number Five, you can't get too close to Number Eight" Reginald said "Why not dad. I like her. Maddie is an amazing girl" Five said "She is dangerous and powerful and if she is not put on the right path, she can end up destroying everything if she let her emotions control her. You can't be near her anymore when I'm training with her cause you are making her weak just like she's making you weak" Reginald said before he turned around and left.

"Never going to happen. She is my center point" Five said.
