Maddie was sitting on the front seat next to Five who was driving down the road.

She looked down at her hands that was on her lap and opened her palm to see a tiny red glowing energy ball which 'cause her eyes to widen and she quickly closed her palm making the ball disappear.

She looked to right to see Five looking forward on the road which mean that he didn't see it.

"So what now?" she asked "I don't know" Five said "Well, before we figure it out, I have actually thought about something" she said "What?" he asked "I really want to change my last name" she said "Why?" he asked "'Cause I don't want to have anything to do with Reginald Hargreeves, so it makes sense to change the last name. Beside changing my last name is also the start of a new life, a new chapter, a new beginning" she said "Yeah, I like that. That sound like a good idea, changing your last name. I'm in" he said "You know you don't have to just because I want" she said "I know. But we are married now. You are my wife so it makes sense that I also have the same last name" he said and she smiled.

"So what kind of last name do you have in mind?" he asked "Delany. It's French" she said "That sound like a good new last name. What made you think about that?" he asked "It was my birth mother's last name" she replied "Well, then let's find a place where we can change our last name, so that's settle" he said "Then what?" she asked "I don't know. First we need some money and a place to live and then when we have enough, we can travel around the world together" he said "But how do we find a place to live and earn some money cause we still look like teenagers" she said "We will figure it out. It's not going to be easy for us now. But we will be fine, because we have each other and as long as we get through things together..." he said "We will succeed and beat everything life throw at us. 'Cause we are the heart and the head" she said and he looked at her with a smile "Exactly, Love" he said before he looked forward again.

Maddie took a deep breath before she put her hands in her pockets, but that's was when she felt something in her left pocket.

She pulled it out to see a white envelope and she turned it around to see Freddy's handwriting on it.

'USE THEM WELL'

She opened the envelope to see a bunch of money in it.

"Holy" she said "What?" Five asked as he turned his head to look at her "What is that?" he asked as he looked at the envelope.

"I don't think we need to worry about the money" she said before she showed him what was in the envelope causing his eyes to widen "It's from Freddy. He must had put it in my pocket when we said goodbye" she said "That guy always seems to surprise me" Five said with a smile "I think that is enough for us to buy a good apartment and travel around the world" he said "Yeah, if we used them right away, but I think I know a better way to use them. Something Freddy taught me" she said "And what is that?" he asked "I will tell you later. I just know that we can get more than enough to live that life we want" she said "I think I know what you mean, so that sound like a plan, cause all I want is for you to be happy and live that life together we always wanted" he said and she smiled as she closed the envelope before putting it back in her pocket.

She then looked out of the car window, thinking about Freddy, she was sad over Freddy had left, but she was not angry because she understand why.

Freddy wanted to find out the whole truth about himself. He wanted to find answers and even so she wanted him to stay with her and Five, she knew that this is what he wanted and she had to accept it, which she did.

Maddie looked up at the night sky looking at the stars, she smiled as she saw a memory of her and Freddy as kids.

She then closed her eyes and she started thinking about the time where she and Freddy first met.

Flashback start...

"Everyone this is Freddy and he is gonna live here with us" Grace said with a smile as she enter the living room where Luther, Maddie and Allison was and they looked at the few years younger ginger hair boy that stood next to Grace.

"Why is he here?" Luther asked "Your dad took him in, make him feel welcome" Grace said before she left.

There was few seconds of silence of the siblings just staring at Freddy, Maddie was actually the only one that look at him with a smile "You will never be a part of this family or one of us" Luther said before he left with Allison right behind him and Freddy let out a sight before he looked down on the floor.

"Hey" a voice said and Freddy looked up to see a 12 year old girl with dark brown hair looking at him with a smile.

I close my eyes and I can see the day we met,

"Welcome to our family, I am Madison, but you can call me Maddie" the girl said and stretched her right arm towards Freddy "I am Freddy" he said and they shook hands.

Just one moment and I knew:
You're my best friend, 'do anything for you.

Then Klaus and Ben enter the living room. "You must be the new member of the family that mom talk about" Klaus said as they walked over to Maddie and Freddy.

"I am Klaus and this is Ben" Klaus said as he pointed on himself before he pointed on Ben "Hello, are you number nine?" Ben asked "Nine?" Freddy asked confused "Well, our dad don't give us name, only numbers, our mom Grace gave us real name. But our 'Dad' only calls us by number. Like I am number eight, Ben is six, Klaus is four, Vanya is seven, Luther is one, Diego is two and Allison is three" Maddie said "And Five is well, number five" Klaus said "What is your number?" Ben asked "He didn't gave me a number, he only called me Custos which I have no idea what means. Grace was the one that named me" Freddy said "Typical dad, he is always like that" Ben said "He is way worse. Thanks God he is not our real dad" Klaus said and Freddy looked confused on them "Well, he adopted us because we all had special powers. You see, we were all born on the same year and date. But we have differences mothers and fathers. None of us are related by blood, but most of us see each other as siblings" Ben said.

Then Five enter the living room "There you are" he said before he walked over to Maddie "Five, this is Freddy, he is a new member of the family" Maddie said pointing on Freddy and Five looked at him "Nice to meet you Freddy, I am Five" he said and they shook hands before Five looked back at Maddie "I have been looking for you" he said "The heart and the head need each other or they will not survive" Ben said "If the two of you are going to make out, do it where we can't see it this time" Klaus said before him and Ben let out a laugh and Maddie and Five rolled their eyes "We have not kissed" Five said "We are just friends, nothing more" Maddie said "Yeah, right" Klaus said and Maddie let out a sigh.

"Anyway, you are part of the Academy now and therefore part of our family" Maddie said "Is not what that big guy think" Freddy said "Who? Luther? Don't mind him, he is an asshole, he always act like the strongest, but he is not" Maddie said "He also always act like he is better than us and the leader, which he is not" Five said.

"What is your powers?" Maddie asked "I don't know, Reginald said that I am have the power to take form as all kind of animals and I can control, use and created elements" Freddy said "Well so you are a Shape-shifter and someone who can control elements, that is a strong ability" Five said "Yeah, but I can't control it yet" Freddy said "We have all being there most of us are still there" Klaus said "Well, I know what that is like, don't worry, I will help you" Maddie said with a smile "Come, let me show you around" she said with a smile causing Freddy to smile back.

We've gone so far and done so much
And I feel like we've always been together.

"Come on, you can do it, remember don't think so much, just let it happen" Maddie said before Freddy opened his hands and a fireball appeared "You did it, you succeed, good job" Maddie said and Freddy smiled.

Right by my side through thick and thin,
You're the part of my life I'll always remember.

Maddie was in her workroom, her face was covered in ash while she was looking at the broken time machine in front of her with widened eyes.

The time has come,
It's for the best, I know it.
Who could have guessed that you and I
Somehow, someday, we'd have to say goodbye.

"Maybe we can build a new one" Freddy said "No, we can't" Maddie said before she started crying and she walked over to a table before she push the things down on the floor with her arms "It's over" she said "No is not" Freddy said "Yes it is" Maddie said and started grabbing things before throwing them away "I failed" Maddie said as she started throwing more things and with her powers some of the things started flying around the room.

"MADDIE, calm down" Freddy said as he dodged a scissor that came flying towards him "MADDIE, STOP" Freddy shouted as she started throwing and pushing more things down "NO" Maddie shouted while crying.

Freddy then ran over to her and grabbed her "STOP" he said "No" Maddie said and push him away causing him to fell down on the floor. But Freddy got up quickly and ran over to her before he wrapped his arms around her "Just calm down, okay" he said as he lock her arms so she couldn't move them "It's okay, take it easy" he said as he pulled himself and her down on the floor.

He then sat down next to her "Just take it easy and breath" he said and Maddie took a deep breath as she started settle down "There you go" he said "It's over, I can't do this anymore, I give up" she said sobbing "You can't just give up, you can do anything as long as you believe in yourself" Freddy said "I just missed him so much" Maddie said "I know, but you have to keep hoping that he will come back one day, you have to find the strength to keep fighting, no matter what" Freddy said and Maddie looked at him.

You've helped me find the strength inside
And the courage to make my dreams come true.
How will I find another friend like you?

"You are right, I will never lose hope that he will come back" she said "There you go. You always have to believe in it" he said and she smiled "I am just afraid that I will be alone" she said "You will never be alone, you still have Diego, Vanya, Klaus and the others and me of course and don't worry I will be always be there for you, no matter what" Freddy said before he wipe a tear away from her eye "You are the strongest person I have ever know and no matter what, you have to keep being strong" he said and she smiled "I don't know what I will do if you haven't being here" she said before she leaned closer and rested her head on his shoulder "And I will always be here, no matter what" Freddy said and pulled her closer.

Two of a kind, that's what we are,
And it seems like we were always winning.
But as our team is torn apart,
I wish we could go back to the beginning.

"Tell me about him" Freddy said "You know him too" Maddie said "I know, but not as much as you, and you are the one cloeset to him and I also want to hear you tell me about him" Freddy and Maddie start talking about Five and all the memoires she can remember she had with him.

Freddy had taking form as a black horse and was riding along the beach while Maddie was sitting on his back, smiling.

The time has come,
It's for the best, I know it.
Who could have guessed that you and I

Maddie then pulled out a picture from her inner pocket before she looked at it. The photo showed Maddie and Freddy looking at the camera with a smile.

Somehow today, we have to say goodbye.

Looking at the photo got a tear to fell from her eyes. She missed him already but she would never forget him and she will keep hoping that she will see him again.

"May we meet again" she mumbled under her breath.

Then Five grabbed Maddie's hand and the two looked at each other before they smiled.

Here we are - we've just begun
And after all this time - our time has come
Yeah here we are - still goin' strong
Right here in the place where we belong

"Ready to live that life you always wanted?" he asked and she nodded "I am" she said.

"Time for our honeymoon" he said "Time to travel around the world and to live a normal life for once" she said "Can't wait. Just the two of us living that life we always talked about when we were kids" he said "That life we always wanted" she said and he nodded "Together, Always and Forever, in good and bad ways" he said "Together, Always and Forever, in good and bad ways" she said.

Maddie was happy, she could now live the rest of her lives with the love of her live, her husband, Five. Whatever the furture may bring, she was ready.

Five was happy too, of course he had to get use to not having his powers, but maybe this was a good thing, he could now retire and he could now try to live a life as a normal person, no doomsday, no end of the world, no killing and no apocalypse. He could now live the rest of his life with the love of his life, his wife, Maddie, and whatever the future bring, he was ready.

Here we are - we've just begun
And after all this time - our time has come

Right here in the place where we belong

The couple was now on their way to live their life together. The Heart and The Head, Maddie and Five could now start a new chapter in their life, together and whatever the future may bring, they were going to face and handle it together, because they would stand by each other's side, no matter what and do things together.

But what they didn't noticed was that they drove past many buildings owned by Sir Reginald Hargreeves.

And in one of the tall buildings stood Reginald Hargreeves alive and well. He was looking out from the tall building's window, watching the city below. He was looking down at the city when his wife Abigail walked up to him, joining his side.

And what matters ain't the "who's baddest," but the
Ones who stop you fallin' from your ladder, 'cause

Reginald looked at his wife and he took her hand "We don't have her?" Abigail asked and Reginald shook his head "No. But we will, 'cause we need her, both her and the guy" he said "How do we get the guy?" she asked "We will wait with him, now we need to focus on the girl" he said "How do we get her?" she asked "Don't worry. We will get her or else she will give us something else we can use" Reginald said "She don't know, does she?" she asked and he shook his head "No, I don't think so. But she will find out. It's a shame that it's not his, but I will figure out something else" he said "So what is the plan?" she asked "I don't know, yet. But we will figure it out" he said before they both looked out the huge window "That girl has no idea how dangerous she really is. She is more powerful than her siblings. And she will find out and when she does, she will realize that she is a danger to the people she love and she will leave them and that's when we strike" he said.

"And what about the other guy?" she asked "When we have her, he will come to us and after experimented on both of them, we will have the two most powerful people in the whole universe on our side and no one will stand a chance against us" he said before they both looked down at the city, they now owned.

Without Maddie and her family knowing, the peace was not over and more challenges was going to happen.

And also I have big plans for Maddie and Five in season 4, including them becoming parents. I have thought a lot about it and I have decided that it would fit them perfectly in becoming parents.

I can't wait for season 4, so I can introduce their kids and since I have heard that season 4 will take place 9 years after season 3 ended. I have already pick out a name for their oldest child.

Hope you guys wouldn't mind Maddie and Five becoming parents, 'cause I can't see them not be.
