Amber's POV 

I got up and put my shoes, laptop, charger, sweatpants, t shirt, sweatshirt, two water bottles, an apple, banana and my cross country uniform in my duffle bag. My boyfriend Joe, my brother Cody, my sister Jessica and I were going to a cross country meet and it took at least a good five hours to get there. We were going to go during second hour. First hour, I had English 11 and we had to write an essay. I was already done with mine and turned it in. It was due in two days and the first day I turned it in because it was a topic that I really liked.

 The teacher just let us work on our own. Since I was done and had it already turned in, I got my laptop out and started on my other essay for college. Mrs. Truth came up to me and put the lid to my laptop down. I gave her a look saying "Why in the world did you just do that?" She took me out into the hall and then we talked. "I don't think that was the topic that you were supposed to be working on."

"I know. I already turned it in on the first day."

"Then I am going to check it and then you are going to correct it because it is probably wrong." Just then, she slaps me. "Why did you do that?"

"Because you take ages to work on an essay. It is probably all wrong." I shook my head. She nodded her head.

 Then there was an announcement to let all cross country runners go to go get changed and get on the bus. I went in and grabbed my stuff and then went to the locker room to get changed.
