Violet ran down the school halls, her heart thumping as thoughts ran through her mind. She needed to save him, she didn't want to see him hurt anymore. She stops to pant, her energy running low. She looks up to see the giant orb. It was only filled one third off the way but a dark liquid sat in the middle, slowly moving around inside. The she looks down to the stairs to see a figure. Violet takes in a big gulp of air before standing up straight and staring into Cassandras eyes.

"Please, help me save Apollo. I know you can't bear a grudge on him. He's hurt very badly, and now he continues to suffer. If you ever loved him Cassandra, you'd help him." Violet tells her. Cassandra looks down.

"My voice... My words do not reach him." She finally spoke.

"Pardon?"

"The harder I tried to reach him, the more I hurt him. But... I want to save him."

"Save Apollo..."

"Since you are like me, maybe..." Then Cassandra hops forward then appears by Violets side. "Please... Lend me your strength." 'I hope I'm doing the right thing...'

||| Mini Time Skip |||

"Violet..." Dionysus watches as Violet approaches them in the garden.

"No..." Hades spoke. "That is..." Apollo watches Villet approach with tear filed eyes.

"Cassandra, I--"Violet puts her finger on his lips, stopping him from continuing.

"Apollo-sama, you will live forever. And I will die alone. When I saw this future, I couldn't handle it, so I took my own life. But later, I understood. Even if we were both human, death would eventually part us. People know this, and treasure their limited time together all the more. Even if it's a God and a human, it's the same. But I foolishly failed to realise this."

"No!" Apollo shouts, grabbing Violets shoulders. "I was the fool! I gave you that divine power because I wanted your heart. If I hadn't done that... You... You..." Apollo falls to his knees as his tears fall from his eyes.

"Apollo-sama," Violet places her hand on top of his. "Do not blame yourself." She then places her other hand on his cheek, rubbing his tears off with her thumb. "I have no wish to see you suffer." She then hugs him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I am happy now, with the memories of the time we spent together."

"Happy..." Apollo repeats.

"So please, find your own happiness."

"Cassandra, you..." Apollo then let's go, crying loudly as Violet so others him by rubbing his hair but then she moves back. "I was finally able to tell you."

"Cassandra..."

"Thank you, Apollo-sama. And... Goodbye." Violet gives him a closed eyed smile, tears welling up in her eyes. Then Cassandra jumps out from Violet and turn to her. "Thank you, Violet Blanks." The spirit of Cassandra is whisked away by rose petals and they drift off into the sky, slowly disappearing from sight.

"Sometimes, the dead bear grudges against the living and cause them harm. But sometimes, they love the living, and watch over them." Hades said, staring off into sky.

"Cassandra..." Apollo whispers. The black on his ring fades away, then it glows a bright white and disintegrates off his ring finger.

"Your shackle..." Hades looks at Apollo's hand.

"Apollo... It came off. Your ring came off!" Violet shouts, smiling brightly as she hugs Apollo.

"Violet, thank you." Apollo hugs her back, a bright smile on his face.

"You're shaking Violet." Dionysus observes, taking off his jacket and placing it around her shoulders.

"Oh... I, er... I was scared, but it's passed now. Apollo has got his shackle off, he's learnt about the human heart. Oh, we need to get back to bed!" Violet shouts, jumping up. "See you guys tomorrow!" She waves, running off.

||| Time Skip |||

"Did it really come off?" Takeru asks. Everyone was currently in the classroom huddled around Apollo, looking at his ring finger.

"Yeah, it did!" Apollo grins, showing off his naked hand.

"It's true." Tsukito comments. 

"It's gone..." Takeru mumbles.

"When it's time, it really does come off." Balder smiles.

"Yeah... You guys can do it too." Apollo encourages.

"How condescending." Dionysus sighs.

"Damn you Apollo." Loki yells, putting his arm around Apollo's neck and giving him a nuggie.

"Hey... Loki-Loki, stop..." Apollo whines.

"How did a idiot like him get it off first? I've been using all sorts of stuff to pry mine off but it won't." Lewis said, rubbing his chin.

"Ours will come off soon enough!" Takeru grins, standing up.

"We must work harder." Hades nods.

"Yeah." Thor agrees.

"I'm sure you'll all be able to get your shackles off." Violet smiles brightly.

"Yeah!" Apollo laughs.

"You wish. The human heart is more difficult than it looks. So... Which one of you want to cut off my ear?" Lewis questions, tugging at his black ear cuff. Then Loki stops harassing Apollo.

"Hey, wait... Aren't we forgetting something?" He asks. The group thinks for a moment.

"Our exams." Tsukito answers. The group all scream loudly in surprise.

||| Time Skip |||

Violet sat in her chair, her hands nervously twitching as she stared down at her desk. 'What if I failed the test? I could of spent less time eating and more time studying, or not going out and revising instead. Why did I distract myself so much? What will I do if I fail?'

"Violet?" Dionysus calls, watching the black haired girl for any sighs of movement. "Nope, she's stuck in her own world." He shakes his head.

"What do you think she's worried about?" Loki asks, leaning back in his chair.

"Exam results." Lewis said, dumping his stuff on the floor. "Back home her careers were very strict about her grades. Anything below a B+ was worth a punishment. A+ is her average grade for everything. I guess because it was beat into her so badly, she's always worried about results." He shrugs as he sits on his desk.

"So she's always like this before results are announced?" Loki asks.

"Yeah." Lewis shrugs.

"And how do you know this?"

"Er... Why wouldn't I? I know everything about Violet."

"Stalker." Loki smirks.

"Shut it Pepper top." Lewis snarls.

"Calm down Lewis, he was only joking." Dionysus laughs nervously. "But when are the results being announced?"

"A five. We've got two hours till then." Loki sighs, placing his hand on his cheek. Then his eyes widen.

"What's wrong with you?" Lewis yells when Loki. Jumps up, almost knocking him off the table.

"Does Violet still have that really big bike?" Loki asks.

"No, I ride it to school. The dumbass didn't put a lock on it and left the keys in the ignition."

"Can I have the keys?" Loki questions with a grin.

"Sure, nock yourself out." Lewis chucks him the keys. Loki catches them then skips over to Violet. "Or get hospitalised. Hopefully the second one." Lewis mutters.

"Violet!" Loki sings, skipping over to Violet. She continues to stare down at the desk, not moving an inch. "Kitten." He coos, bending down and blowing on her ear. Violet squeaks and flinches back, cradling her ear.

"Dos that punk want to die?" Lewis grinds his teeth together, standing up and ready to give the ginger a beating.

"Loki, why did you do that?" Violet asks, pouting.

"You didn't say hello." Her pouts innocently.

"Oh... Good morning Loki. What did you want?"

"Can't I talk to my friend without a reason behind it?" He grins.

"Friend?" She blinks. "Oh, I'm sorry. Oh, er, I, what did you want to talk about?"

"Just wondering about exams. Thanks again for teaching me, I'm sure I didn't fail." He leans back on. Tsukito's desk and inspects his nails.

"Oh, it's no problem. I'm always happy to help a... Friend." Violet grins to herself. 'I have another friend!' She then giggles.

"So, do you want to go out today?" Loki asks.

"But we still have another hour of lessons. And then we have our re--" Loki places his finger on her lips, leaning towards her with a big grin.

"I wanted to go on a trip in the forest."

"But we can't skip school Loki."

"But I left my books in their." He pleads.

"What? You're books? I thought I saw you with them at lunch?"

"They were Balders. I left mine in their after school yesterday. I know where I put them. Come and get them with me before the lesson starts." He pleads again. Violet looks down at her desk before standing.

"As long as it doesn't take too long. Thoth will be mad." Violet grabs her blazer and heads out the door, following Loki. Lewis finally breaks out from Dionysus' grip and glares at him.

"Look what you've done! She's going on a date with that freak!" He yells.

"Violets going on a date?" Apollo and Balder chorus as they enter the class.

"Yeah! They're going off into the woods. Alone. That girl really is a dumbass. Alone with another man, is she stupid! He's going to do something shady." Lewis storms out the class. "He's lucky Thoth took my gun!"

"We have to follow them." Apollo said.

"Yeah, then after I can talk with Loki." Balder nods.

"Oh, this is going to be fun." Dionysus grins as he follows after the boys.

"Do you known where exactly you put your books?" Violet asks as she clips the helmet onto her head.

"Yeah, yeah. Don't worry so much." Loki grins as he sits on the bike. Violet stares at him for a moment.

"Loki." She said sternly.

"Yeah?" He laughs awkwardly.

"Do you know how to ride a motorbike?" She asks, crossing her arms.

"Of course." He waves her off then pats behind himself.  "Hold on tight."

"Oh, erm, are you sure I can touch you?" Violet asks shyly as she sits down and stares at Loki's sides.

"I'm not going to bite." He smirks to hero er his shoulder and her cheeks erupt into red. He chuckles to himself as Violet timidly wraps her arms around his waist and lays her head between his shoulder blades. That's when it all went down hill. Violet should of realised it from the moment Loki made the bike jump, then stop, then jump agains, but she was too busy worrying if she was making Loki uncomfortable with her tight grip. They road down a gravel path and into the forest, the sound of the motor covering the sound of creatures and Violet could feel the window blowing against them as Loki laughed loudly.

"Loki!" Violet screams, hugging him tighter. "You lied! You chat ride this thing!"

"What makes you say that?" Loki laughs.

"We almost hit a tree!" She yells, closing her eyes tightly. Loki chuckles at her and begins to slow down. Violet, although reluctantly, peeled herself off Loki once he stopped. She pulled off the helmet and bent down, feeling her stomach still sloshing around.

"Are you alright?" Loki grin, patting her shoulder. Violet turns to him and pouts, her cheeks bright red and eyes brimmed with tear.

"The wind hurt my eyes even though I hid behind you, I'm travel sick but you decided to go over every bump possible and my arms feel numb." She grumbles.

"So you're fine." He nods to himself as Violet sighs loudly.

"I'll never understand boys." She shakes her head as she stood up. "Let's look for your books." She gets up and walks into the forest with Loki behind her, his arms crossed behind his head.

"You need to let loose." He said as he walks in step with her.

"I am loose. I do streches every morning." She said as her eyes scan the forest.

"That's not what I meant." Loki sings as he stops in front of her. "How about... Whoever wins has to do what the victor says?" He wiggle his brows at her. Violet stops to think for a second.

"Is the prose whoever finds your books first?" She asks.

"Nope. It's who gets to the other side of the forest first. Ready, set, go!" He chimes and behind to run. Violet stares at him in bewilderment before chasing after him.

"That's cheating!" She yells and she runs between trees. All she got in return was boisterous laughter. With a grin, Violet runs past bushes, trees and animals as she lengthens her strides. The trees begin to spread out and Violet sees one of the wooden posts up ahead with signs on it. 'He said whoever gets to the end of the forest first. The evergreen forest ends there and the brute woods begins there. So if I get to their, I've won without having to go another mile. Brains before prankster.' Violet smirks as she makes a sharp turn and runs the last meter to the post. But then she spots red in the trees and sees Loki running branch from branch towards the exact same place. Violet slams her hand down on the post, and to her uncanny luck, Loki hangs upside down from the tree and puts his hand their too. Violet purses her lips at him as a large grins was on his face, but his lips were only center meters away.

"Clever kitten, who would of thought you would of came up with this." He purrs at her.

"I'm a girl, not stupid." Violet retorts and she doesn't move her hand.

"It's a tie, that means we both have to make the other do something. He grins, hopping down from the tree branch.

"Alright, mine is... That you... Cannot pull a prank for another week." Violet grins at her genius idea. Loki shrugs, not caring as he stood in front of her and leans towards her, putting his hand on the post above her head.

"Mine is," Loki moves closer to Violet so she takes a step back. "Have to," he bends down slightly and Violet then finds her back pushed against the tree so she panics. 'L-Loki's my friend! He wouldn't hurt me!... Would he?' Violet stares at him with wide as as mischief glints in his grey orbs. "... Close your eyes and not resist."

"Huh?" Violet tilts her head in confusion.

"It's simple. Close your eyes and don't move. Stay perfectly still." He smirks, waiting for Violet to become embarrass.

"Are we playing hide and seek?" She questions innocently.

"Wha... No, just close your eyes." He sighs, dragging his hand down his face in exasperation. That wasn't a reaction he was expecting. Violet does as she's told and closes her eyes, arms stuck to her sides and she scrunches her nose.

"What are going to do? Are you going to leave me in the forest and make me walk the whole way back?" Violet asks.

"No." Loki chuckles, his voice by her ear. Violet furrows her brow.

"Put bugs in my hair?"

"Nu-uh."

"Er, maybe... Leave me in suspense? I really don't like not knowing things."

"Not that either, but I'll keep it in mind for later." Violet hears as his hand moves down the bark and is placed above her shoulder. "Have you heard of manga? I've read that it's very popular in your world."

"Yeah, I love manga. My friends and I used to read them at library's or talk about are favourite characters." She grins.

"Well, I read a shojo manage the other day about this boy, who liked a girl, and he trapped her against a wall."

"Do you want to ask me questions about girls? I know Thoth makes things a bit awkward in class, like when he taught biology, so I understand if you don't want to discuss it with him."

"No." Loki sighs, a small smile on his face as he shook his head. He understood that the girl was dense, but not this dense. "He got the girl to close her eyes, and then kissed her." Violet could now feel hot air against her lips and now her cheeks turned pink.

"We'll if prefer it if I could see the person I was having my first kiss with." Violet said.

"I never said it was her first." Loki smirks.

"Well I never had a boyfriend, so I've never had a kiss from someone before. I guess you would be better off asking Lewis about this stuff, I really--" but Violet stops once she feels a callous thumb on her bottom lip, smoothing it over. "Loki, what are you doing?" Violet asks timidly against his thumb.

"Wouldn't you like to know." He hums, taking his thumb off her lip and moving it to her right cheek, tucking some hair back. Then suddenly a twig is snapped and a loud shuffling sound is heard and something was placed on Violets lips. It was smooth against her lips are warmer than her skin. Violet moves her head back against the tree a furrows her brow in confusion.

"Can I open my eyes now?"

"Yes Violet."

"Huh?" Violet opens her eyes to see Dionysus' hand hovering near her mouth and Loki scowling at the wine haired God.

"Why'd you do that for?" Loki scowls at him.

"She trusted you, and you were about to cross the line." Dionysus scowls back.

"What was he about to do?" Violet asks, staring up at Dionysus. Loki growls under his breath as he glares at Dionysus. Dionysus scrunches up his nose, then turns to Violet and smiles.

"Loki was about to kiss you."

"... Why?"

"What do you mean why?!" Loki stares at her in astonishment.

"Well, why would you kiss me?" She repeats herself quietly, slightly shocked from his sudden raise of voice.

"Why wouldn't I k--!"

"You found her! What did pepper top do to her?!" Lewis growls as he storms over, only to have Balder and Apollo hook arms with him and lift him off his feet.

"Whys everyone out here for?" Violet asks. Dionysus and Loki sigh in exhaustion.

"Everyone was worried so we went looking for you two." Balder smiles.

"Sorry for making you worry." Violet bows.

"Don't bow to them, I was worried about you first!" Lewis yells. Violet blinks then bows to him, making his face erupt into red. "I didn't mean it! Stand up straight you dumbass!"

"Sorry."

"Stop apologising."

"... So--"

"Okay let's go back, out results have been out for half an hour." Dionysus smiles carelessly, patting Loki and Biolets back and walks between them.

"Wait, we missed a lesson?!" Violet yells, panicking.

"Nothing to worry about, your Thoths favourite student so he won't mind." Dionysus grins.

"And the results have been out for thirty minutes. What if I've been failing for thirty minutes! I can't fail a test! What if I become unemployed and lose my home and never get a job and become a bum--"

"Calm down, when you become a high school drop out you can live with me." Lewis mumbles as he was becoming annoyed by her babbling.

"I'm going to drop out of school?!"

"Oh my god, shut up!" Lewis yells.

"Sorry." Violet mumbles.

"What did I say about the- never mind!" Lewis stops once he sees the looks the others were sending him.

And the day ended with a giant smile on Violets face.

Guess who got an A+ on every exam?
