Jack's POV
I don't think I've ever ran that fast in my life. I was scared that he would yell so to avoid that, I ran so fast. I heard him call for me, but I ignored him. I figured he would've told me something like "Watch where you're going" or "You need to apologize to me." Right now, I was sitting down near a river. I just stared at my reflection in the river.
Nobody likes you
Nobody cares about you
You're worthless
These are what the voices in my head were saying. And they were right. Nobody likes me. Nobody cares about me. I am worthless. I remember one time when I was younger, I had just came home from school.
~Flashback~
I had just came home from school.
"Dad? Are you home?"
All of sudden, he came out of nowhere and started punching me. I couldn't do anything. He was too strong. He repeatedly punched me in my face and kicked me. When he was done, I was left on the ground with bruises all over my body and a black eye.
~End of flashback~
I never understood why he abused me until I found out that he had been drinking. He was drunk that day he abused me. He hasn't stopped drinking ever since. That's why I never go home. I know that as soon as I go home, he would be drunk and he would instantly abuse me.
I just wish I could escape this cruel world
