As the days goes on, I almost push away the meeting last night. Almost. But it was there. The nagging for me to drop everything and meet with Cody and find out more about my powers.

When Blake and I walked into his room later in the evening I could tell knew something was up. We walk to the bed and sit down.

"Penny for your thoughts?" He says quietly. I can tell he's upset that I've been keeping things from him.

"I've just been thinking. That's all." I look him in the eyes to show I told the truth. His stiffened body relaxes just a bit.

"About?" He says carefully, knowing that if he pushed me I'd shy away. Smart boy. I smirk to myself.

"Well," I say slowly, "I think.. we should..." I stutter, not quite able to get the words out. "I think I want you to mark me!" I say in one breath, practically shouting. His face turns from surprise to happiness.

"Really! I mean, I don't wanna rush you into anything, but Madi this is great!" He says enthusiastically.

"I've wanted you to mark me for days, I just didn't know if I was ready for.. what comes afterwards." A small smile forms on his face as he recalls what I mean.

"Your first heat." He says sadly. I nod my head and sink into his chest, remembering the lesson I was thought when I was young. When a she-wolf is marked, her first heat will begin randomly the next day, lasting three more days. Each day more excruciatingly painful then before, until the two mates complete the bond and the female marks the male. In other words, have sex. I glare at the ground, still not over that night my father raped me. The day before joining the pack, I had told Blake I was ready to complete the mating bond. We didn't do it that night, because of the timing and all, but now, I was ready.

"This time, I'm sure. The timing is right, I'm officially apart of the pack, and I am ready to become their Luna." I say with confidence. Blake's eyes fill with adoration.

"Your going to make a great Luna Madi. I just know it." He says proudly.

"Lets do this." I say awkwardly, not really knowing what exactly to do.

Let me do the all the work Madi, Blake says softly in my head, taking my petite waist in his hands and laying me down softly on the bed.

"Just relax. This was meant to be. He says smoothly."

I sigh. He brings his lips down to my own and kisses me softly. His hands run down my sides, making me shiver. His kisses are soft and sweet, passionate instead of hungry. Blake's mouth moves down to my jaw, planting kisses all the way down my neck, reaching my sweet spot. I gasp and run my fingers through his hair as he sucks on my neck. Lost in my own world of sensations, I barely notice the sharp prick of his canines piercing into my skin. The pain was quick, then it was gone, replaced by a feeling of pleasure. Blake licks the wound, sealing it, and kisses my now sensitive mark. I bring his face up to my own and kiss him fiercely. He chuckles against my mouth and I giggle back.

"Wow. That was so -"

"Amazing." Blake finishes for me. He rolls over to my left and stares up at the ceiling, smiling to himself.

"Yeah. Amazing." I agree. Suddenly tired, I yawn and pull the comforter up to my chest. Blake follows suit and turns to me, wrapping his arms around my torso.

"Goodnight Madi." He says quietly.

"Goodnight." I reply, barely couscous. As I drift to sleep I could have sworn I heard Blake mumble, 'I love you'.

The next morning I sit in our bed, feeling light and happy. Mili was prancing around in my head, a Wolfish smile on her face, just plain happy that our mate finally marked us. Suddenly, she stopped prancing and grinning. She looked me straight in the eyes, worry clear on her face.

Madi, the heat is coming. Be prepared, because it will be very painful. Especially since you are an alpha female mated to an alpha male. She says, concern laced through her voice.

Will it affect you? I ask equally concerned.

The pain will be bearable for me since the humans instead of the wolves are the ones doing the mating.

Oh. How long until the pain is here? I ask, scared out of my mind.

I don't know exactly, I can only sense that it is coming. I can only hope that you won't be in to much pain. Suddenly our connection was interrupted. I look over to Blake and see his mouth moving.

"What?" I say to Blake with slight annoyance.

"I said, is everything alright? You looked scared." He says with concern.

"I was talking to Mili. She says she can sense my heat coming."

"Oh shit. I completely forgot. Does she know when?" He says with surprise. I shake my head and lay back down. Suddenly my stomach growls angrily.

"Hungry?" Blake says with a grin, heat forgotten by both of us.

"It seems that way." I sit back up get dressed. I change into a large sweatshirt and a black pair of leggings. When Blake sees my outfit he smiles.

"Lazy day?" He questions me. A mischievous smiles spreads on my face.

"Lazy day." I say back. We walk downstairs hand in hand, and walk into the kitchen. Remembering who's house we are in, a thought comes to mind.

"My parents are returning in a couple days. Why do you wonder?" Blake replies to my silent question.

"Well I kind of want to move into the pack house and get to know everyone. If I'm going to be Luna I need to know my pack." I say with certainty. I was ready to break out of my shy shell and become what was meant to be.

"That's great Madi! Your going to do great things for this pack. Everyone already loves you, you know. They speak of you all the time." Blake says with certainty.

"I hope so." I mumble to myself.

As Blake flips pancakes in the pan, a pounding on the door startles me out of my hazy mind.

"I'll grab it." I say to Blake and walk towards the door. When I opened the door a frantic Vanessa runs through the door and practically knocks me to the ground, followed by a grinning Jake. After I had joined the pack her and I began to hang out a lot to get to know each other, and had become great friends.

"Oh my god! We haven't had a C.D.S in forever!" Vanessa says, help in me up. I remember the second time we hung out in her room watching movies all night, she came up with C.D.S. I grin as I remember our first official C.D.S when we went to the spa and got mani pedis, afterwards going to a karaoke bar even though we were underage. I learned that day that werewolves have great convincing abilities, and regular alcohol doesn't affect us.

"We haven't, have we?" I say with a sly grin. Our mates were looking at us like we were crazy.

"What the hell is an C.D.S?" Blake questions me with a confused look on his face. I look at Vanessa.

Should we tell them? I mind link her.

"We should tell them what it means, but not what we do. Let them suffer." She smirks. I look at our mates.

"C.D.S is a day where we be crazy, be daring, and be sneaky. It's our thing" I say with a shrug. Both Blake and Jake seem to be thinking this over in their heads, trying to see if we would be in any trouble. Knowing me and Vanessa when we were together, we would be. What they don't know won't hurt them. I think slyly to myself. I grab Vanessa by the arm and run up the stairs.

"Change of plans, I'm going out!" I yell to Blake. Before he can answer we run into the room and lock the door. I flop on the bed as Vanessa hunts through my small amount of clothing pulled together for me last minute, and sighs heavily when she doesn't find anything.

"Today, we shop, because girl you have nothing in this big ol closet of yours." She says, shaking her head. I walk to the closet and pull out a dark blue shirt and pair of skinny jeans.

"This will have to do for now." I say to Vanessa who still looks mortified by my limited clothing supply. I change and go into the adjoining bathroom, brushing my teeth and pulling my long blond hair into a messy bun. I apply a small amount of lip gloss to my lips and a bit of mascara to my eyelashes, keeping the makeup light. I throw on a pair of wedged ankle boots and walk back into the room, and raise an eyebrow to Vanessa, who was sitting on the bed waiting for me.

"Will this be OK for the time being miss fashion queen?" I say sarcastically. She wrinkles her nose in faux disgust.

"I suppose that'll do for now." She says snobbishly. We giggle and start back down the stairs. When Blake see's me his striking blue eyes turn dark. He grabs my waist and spins me around.

"Where are you going, beautiful?" He says huskily. I smile into his embrace.

"We're going shopping. Sorry to mess up our plans." I say sincerely. He shakes his head.

"Nonsense. Do whatever you want princess. Have fun, and mind link me If you need me. Jake and I are going to have a friendly competition of cod advanced warfare." He says giving Jake a phony smile.

"Sorry buddy, but your going down." Jake says with a grin. He walks to Vanessa and brings her in his arms. He leans down and kisses her head. "Be careful." He murmurs. She kisses him and smiles. "Always." She says sweetly. They are so cute.

When we were done hugging and assuring our mates that we would be fine, Vanessa and I finally walked out the door. As we start to get in her car Blake runs towards us with my purse in hand. He gives it to me and hugs me tightly again.

"Couldn't let you forget this." He says with a smile. I peck him on the cheek and get into the car. He walks back into the house and closes the door. Hmm.

"That was weird. Why would I need my purse?" I ponder to Vanessa as she squeals out of the driveway in her Mercedes Benz. She shrugs and starts towards the mall. When we arrive and park I open my purse and pull out my phone, a pack of gum, and to mine and Vanessa's absolute surprise, Blake's platinum Visa credit card.

"Holy shit!" Vanessa says as she also pulls out a credit card from her clutch purse.

"Our mates definitely look out for us don't they?" I say with a smile. I haven't even thought about money. My own money was still at my father's house. Along with everything else of mine. I quickly shut out all thoughts of my father, not wanting to dampen my mood.

Don't mention it. My life is revolved around taking care of you. Now go have fun. He says back.

Will do. I say, and cut the link off. Vanessa and I walk into the mall, arms linked like 13 year olds. As we walk through the mall every human teenage male turns to ogle at us from a distance. I turn to one and wink at him, and Vanessa am I just about fall over with laughter when he practically faints. I no longer hid away under baggy clothing and made myself average. All the bruises and scars disappeared from my body a couple months after I left my fathers abusive clutches, and It had a huge improvement on myself. Ever since I met Blake I had a slight glow to my body and I felt happy and confidant about my looks.

Vanessa and I went from store to store, buying all types of clothes and shoes. When we stopped by Victoria secret I almost died with embarrassment when she made me get all types of lacy undergarments, along with sexy cover ups and pajamas. Glad when we finally exited the store, I suggested we head to the food court. We ordered a soft pretzel with cheese to share and strawberry smoothies to go with it.

"So, have you guys, like, done it yet?" Vanessa asks with a smirk. I blush furiously and shake my head.

"I can tell he marked you though, his scent is faint on your skin. When you mark him then it will be stronger on both of you." She says matter of factly.
"Can I tell you something?" Vanessa asks me, suddenly quiet.

"Of course, you can tell me anything." I say to her. She looks down.

"You have to absolutely promise that you wont tell anyone. Not even Blake." She tells me. I nod my head vigorously and her body relaxes, knowing she can trust me.

"So you know that Jake and I already marked each other and all that other stuff, well there's something I haven't told him." She says with pain in her eyes.

"Go on," I coax her, curious.

"Well, I'm," she stops and starts shaking. She whispers something so low even my werewolf ears couldn't hear.

"What? I didn't catch that." I say quietly. I take a sip of my smoothly

"I'm pregnant!" She cries out. A couple people near by look in our direction when I choke on my drink and start to cough roughly.

"Yo-your what!?" I screech. Oh. My. God.

"Haha. Surprise?" She says with jazz hands. I look down at her stomach and notice a small bump I didn't noticed before.

"How long have you known?" I ask, coming out of my shock.

"Three weeks. I didn't tell him because I didn't know if he would be happy about it." she says weakly. My mouth gapes like a fish as I process the news.

"How in the world have you kept this from Jake for three weeks!" I ask surprised. A werewolf pregnancy only last 5 months since our bodies can develop our babies bodies faster then any human. Although you wouldn't hear a heartbeat until at least four weeks, I was surprised Jake hadn't picked up any lingering though about it in Vanessa's mind.

Madi? Are you OK? I felt your sudden surprise and I got worried. Blake mind links me with concern ringing through his words.

I'm OK. Just startled is all. Gotta go! I say quickly and shut the link off. I also block Blake from feeling or hearing anything from me. I focus back on Vanessa who finishes of the rest of the pretzel.

"You have to tell him. I mean, your bump is going to showing! And soon your cravings will come as well." I say, nodding to the empty pretzel bag. She blushes, but looks at me with confidence. But I knew she was not as confidant on the inside as she was on the outside. I also knew how she felt, keeping something so big from her mate, because I too kept a big secret from my own mate. I didn't feel very good.

"Your right. I need to tell my mate about our child. He deserves to know, and we can get through this together. Come on, we should head back." Vanessa gets up and grabs her shopping bags. I grab mine and we start towards the exit of the mall. A fellow pack member see's us and nods his head in greeting, but then takes a closer look at us and rushes over to us.

"My apologies Luna, I almost didn't recognize you! We would have though you and the Alpha would have moved into the pack house by now." I smile at him.

"It's quite alright?" I look at him questioningly for a name.

"Caleb."

"Caleb. I think Blake and I will be moving in very soon. We are waiting for his parents to return home." I explain to Caleb. He nods his head in understanding.

"Well we were just headed back home, it was very nice speaking to you." I say cheerfully.

"Oh my, sorry for being so impolite! Let me help you both with those bags." he says and grabs a few of mine and Vanessa's shopping bags, making our walk back to her car much easier. We put my bags in the backseat and Vanessa's in the trunk.

"Thank you very much Caleb. We very much appreciate your help." I say to Caleb and Vanessa nods in agreement.

"It was no trouble at all. Well i'd best be off, goodnight t you both." And he walks back into the mall. Vanessa and I climb into the car and start back towards Blake's parents house. When we arrive at the house Vanessa makes no move to get out. I give her a questioning look.

"Would you send Jake out? I don't feel like going in. Give Blake my hello."

"I will. And Vanessa? Good luck. I really think you'll make a great mother and Jake will be just ecstatic about it. Mind link me after you tell him OK?" I try to comfort Vanessa, but I don't think it worked, because she is shaking like a leaf, but she nods her head.

"Thanks Madi. Oh and I forgot to tell you, back with Caleb, you were so great. I think you'll make a fabulous Luna." She says sincerely.

"Thank you. Goodnight Vanessa." I gather up all my bags and start towards the house. When I walk in the door I set my bags down in the entryway and follow the loud sounds of males.

"Damn Blake! Since when did you get so good at COD?" I hear Jake ask my mate. A muffled reply follows. I end up in the living room where I say Jake and Blake playing Xbox on the couch, bags of chips and sodas littering the room. So wrapped up in their game, neither boy had noticed me come in, so I walked up behind Blake from behind the couch, careful to not make a sound. Suddenly Jake turns around slightly and see's me. I hold up my finger to my mouth to shush him and he pauses the game, Blake giving him a 'WTF' look and till doesn't see me. Then without any warning I push Blake of the front of the couch, hard, making him gasp and face plant the floor. He groans and pushes himself back up, glaring at me as Jake and I bust out laughing.

"you scared the shit out of me Madi!" He shouts, but then starts to chuckle himself. Jake finally notices Vanessa's missing .

"Wheres Vanessa?" He asks me.

"She is in the car waiting for you because she didn't wanna come in. And Jake? Please go easy on her, she was really scared."

"What happened? Is she hurt?" He asks, immediately worried.

"No no, nothing like that, just, don't do anything rash OK? you'll find out soon enough. Now go, your mate needs you." I command. He grabs his jacket and runs outside.

"What was that about?" Blake asks me as he shuts off his game console. I shake my head.

I can't tell you. Yet." I say with a sad smile. He nods his head, understanding in his eyes.

"I ran into a fellow pack member today. He helped me and Vanessa with our shopping bags. OH! Speaking of which I should go put them away. Help me?" I ask Blake with a puppy dog look. He instantly melts.

"How could I refuse that look? Honestly, your going to be the death of me." Blake says, walking into the entry way to help me. I pick up most of the bags, leaving Blake with the three bags from Victoria secret. oops. That wasn't supposed to happen. His eyes turn dark as he see's whats in the bag. Damn you Vanessa! I quickly walk up the stairs, bags in hand, and into our room. I can hear Blake behind me, breathing heavily, as we walk into the bedroom. I start hang up my clothes and put undergarments and pajamas in the dresser, humming and pretending Blake didn't just see all my lacy bras. Suddenly a sharp pain jolts through my stomach, making me drop the bath and body works bag I had been holding. Blake catches me before I hit the ground.

"Whats wrong! Baby? Please, what's going on!?" Blake says with worry. He hugs me and start to purr, melting into his embrace. My wolf takes over my body and rubs against his chest.

"Mate me."
