Blake POV

When Madi past out in the woods, I flat out panicked. I paced the forest floor, waiting to see if she would wake up. After about a minute, I shifted back and decided to take her to Sarah, my packs doctor. I picked Madi up, careful of her wounds and started to run towards the Pack house. She shifted back into human form, and for once I wasn't ogling over her body.

Get ready Sarah, my mate needs you. Meet at the hospital.

I ordered Sarah through the pack connection.

Yes alpha.

The pack started referring me as alpha ever since my seventeenth birthday. I was to be alpha when me and my mate completed the bond, and even though my pack didn't know about Madi, they still called me alpha anyway.

When I reached the hospital, I spotted Sarah right away, with her bright red hair. I marched up to her.

"She was in the forest and all of a sudden collapsed." Sarah told me to follow her to an exam room. "Does she have injuries?" She prepped an IV. A pack member handed me a pair of basketball shorts, which I was thankful for.

"Yeah, her father and a bunch of rouges beat her up, possibly raped her." I growled that last part. Nobody would hurt my mate anymore. Not if I could help it. I hear Sarah gasp.

"Oh dear, set her down on the bed would you?" I help her dress Madi in a hospital gown.

I lay her down, and watched as the doc put in the IV and listened to her heart.

"Her heartbeat is to slow for my liking but I don't see anything wrong with her other then those cuts and bruises, so there's nothing I can do. We will just have to wait it out and hope she overcomes whatever is going on in her brain." I let out a breath I didn't know I'd been holding.

"Thanks doc, I appreciate it." She nodded and walked out of the room. I took a seat in the stiff chair next to the bed, and watched my mate battle for her life.

Madi POV

I hurt everywhere.

I couldn't see anything, a bright florescent light blinding me. I closed my eyes. I felt heat to my left, so I turned and opened my eyes. I was surprised to see an IV in my arm. I was at the hospital.

What happened to me? Last last nights events stared to flood in my head. I glanced up and noticed Blake sitting in a chair a few feet from my bed. What is he doing here? I tried to get up to go pee when I tripped over my wobbly feet and face planted the ground.

Ouch.

Blake burst awake and looked down to find me on the ground. Talk about embarrassing. I blushed a deep crimson.

"What the hell are you doing out of bed?" He exclaimed. He picked me up and set me back on the crumpled sheets.

"I needed to pee." I met his angry glare with my own. Why does he care? Ugh. Boys.

"You need stay in bed, you've been out for 2 days." I glared harder.

"Who died and made you the boss of me, since when do you get to tell me what I need to do?" I growl, equally as pissed off as him.

"Since you collapsed in the woods, that's when." I opened my mouth to argue, then closed it. I didn't need this right now. All of a sudden a sharp pain stabbed through my chest. I cried out in pain.

Blake's smug smile turned into a concerned frown. "Madi, what's wrong?"

"Hell if I know!?" I said through clenched teeth. Then as soon as it came, the pain disappeared.

What's going on Mili? I was hoping she had answers.

I'm rewarded with silence. I close my eyes and gasp. I see Mili, sprawled out and not moving.

MILI!

I scream to her. She twitches.

GET UP!

I cry to her. She slowly gets into a sitting position. She growls at me.

What the hell just happened. I ask her, worried.

Mili looks me in the eye. I don't know.
