Madi pov

"Babe," I feel shaking on my left arm. "Babe wake up!" My eyes flutter open to see Blake's lovely blue eyes staring down at me.

"Whaa?" Not able to fully get the world 'what' out.

"It's almost time to join the pack."

"Ugh. Why now? I thought I was gonna meet them at five o'clock? Its so early!" I say trying to get up, but Verdigo hits me hard and I fall back down.

"Sweetheart." Blake says softly.

"What." I snap, not so soft.

"Its almost two! You've been sleeping forever." Blake says with a groan.

"Why didn't you wake me up!?"

"Um, I've been trying to for hours, but as you can see, its taken me this long to even get your eyes to open. And did you know that you are very grouchy when your tierd. The first time I shook you awake you slapped me!" I look at his face and notice that he has a red hand print on his face. I laugh.

"Its so not funny!" Blake whines.

"I'm sorry, but you shouldn't wake a woman when she's sleeping. Especially a werewolf. Your just begging for trouble." I giggle. Blake glares at me, feigning anger. He picks me up bridal style and starts to walk down the stairs to the kitchen. "You should probably eat something before we leave."

"I want," I say, dragging the 't', "a grilled cheese sandwich and a soda."

"Make your own damn food, woman."
Instead of getting evil, I give him the best puppy dog eyes I can muster. "Pretty please with extra bacon on top, Blakey poo?" Using Jake's nickname for Blake. He immediatly softend.

"Ok babe, but only if you don't use that nickname for me. I hate it." He starts to make my sandwich.

As the rest of the day goes by I start to get nervous. Blake must have felt it becasue he grabs my hand and leads me up the stairs. "Why don't you take a bath? It will help with the nerves." He giudes me through the room and into the bathroom. He starts to fill the tub with water and puts bubble bath in. He grabs a plush robe and hangs it on the door.

"Try to relax madi. Dont worry, everyone will love you. I promise." And then Blake leaves. I undress and step into the Jacuzzi tub. The warm water sooths and loosens my tight joints. This feels amazing.

Your welcome. Blake says cheerfully through the bond. Want me to join you?

Get out of my head! I could almost feel his wagging eyebrows. I don't even reply to his question, I just block him from my thoughts. I sink deeper into the water and close my eyes.

When I get out of the tub, I grab the robe and tie it around my body. I snatch my phone off the counter and check the time. 4:30pm.

Ugh.

I walk into the room and step into the walk in closet. I pick out a pair or dark blue skinny jeans and a peach colored shirt with a brown belt around the torso and a pair of black kitten heels. Simple enough yet cute. I think to myself. I curl my hair and put on light makeup. Once I'm finished getting ready I exit the bathroom and head downstairs.

I walk into the living room to see Blake sitting on the couch in a simple blue t-shirt and jeans. He looks up and see's me enter the room. He turns off the tv and walkes over to me, not saying a word. His arms wrap around my torso as he huggs me. I hug back. Suddenly he picks me up and swings md around in a circle.

"Your so beautiful!" He whispers as he sets me back down.

"Thank you. You know, you didn't have to go all Tarzan on me." I giggle as I guide him back to the couch.

"I just couldn't help myself. You look absolutely stunning." We sit and talk for the next half hour about me finially join the pack and how exciting it is. When 5:00pm rolls around I start to get even more nervous.

"Come on lets get going." He says, standing up. We step outside and start into the woods. We walk in between tress until we reach a worn pathway. We follow it into a big clearing where about 200 people murmur to each other, awaiting our arrival.

234 people to be exact.

Blake whispers through my mind. Damn, I need to keep him out of my head. We keep following the the path until we reach the middle of the clearing, a giant bolder with a long, sharp knife and a towel resting upon the top.

When we reach the bolder blake stands on one side, I stand on the other. He holds up a hand and the whispering ceased.

"We are gathered here tonight to join Madison James to the Full moon pack. She will take a blood oath, binding herself to our pack, and then we take her on the first hunt. Are there any who wish to object?" Nobody does. "Alright then, we shall begin." Blake takes hold of the knife. "Do you, Madison James, accept to be loyal to Full moon pack? Never wavering trust, to help protect and rely on everyone in it, treason punishable by death?"

Surprising myself, I answered with complete confidence, my voice non-wavering. "I, Madison James, swear to be loyal to Full moon pack, to trust and be trusted, to protect those who need it and rely on those who don't."

"Then, with the Moongoddes as my witness, I hearby name you Madison James of full moon pack, mate of Blake Cole, alpha of Full moon pack, and future Luna." He slices a quick cut across my palm and does the same to his, and grabs my hand has we combine our blood. The pack connection comes through and I almost collapse with all the voices in my head, giving me a headache.

She's Blake's mate?

No way!

She's really pretty. Lucky bastard.

Future luna?

I quickly block the voices out. I look at blake and wince, the eye movement hurting my head. The pack is dead silent. Then they explode in cheers and whistles. They start toward me with eager looks on their faces. A middle age woman with jet black hair raches me first and grabs my other hand as I wipe the blood from my cut.

"Its nice to finally meet you dear. I'm Blake's aunt crystal. He's been holding you hostage for weeks!" I smile and hug her.

"Well I'm glad he's introduced me to everyone, I was starting to get bored." She smiles.

"Well I won't keep you, so until next time!" She gives a small wave before I get swallowed by the crowd. I sit amd chat with the pack for hours, getting to know every one and even making a few friends. Everyone is super friendly and really nice. They all call me luna, even when I tell them its not neccicary. At about 10:00pm or so Blake calls to everyone for their undivided attention.

"The night is young, the moon is out, so now, lets hunt!" He shouts to the croud. Everyone cheers. He turns to me. "Are you ready Madi? "

I nod my head with a gleam in my eye. "So ready."

"As custom, the alpha shifts first, then Luna, as the pack follows." Blake informs to the pack. He takes off his shoes, followed by his shirt and jeans, wearing nothing but boxers. I, along with everyone in the pack, averts their eyes as he finishes undressing. Finally we hear the quick swoosh, signaling his shift, and look up. A black wolf sits where Blake once stood. Blake looks at me expectantly and I start to undress. Everyone looks down once more, and I shift. The pack looks back up and they all gasp. Go figure. Once me and Blake had shifted every one else follows suit.

I know who and what you are. A male voice rings through my head.

What? Who are you? I question, utterly confused.

Meet me at the waterfall at midnight an I'll explain. Then he was gone, as he closes the link. The only thing going through my head is WTF!? I shrug it off and walk towards my mate.

Just follow me and you'll be fine.

Blake send me through the bond. However I'm not nervous anymore.

He takes off through the woods, weaving between tress and jumping over fallen trees. I run right beside him, keeping his pace perfectly, the pack not far behind. We see a heard of deer and slow down, coming to a stop behind the trees. Blake speaks through the pack link.

As tradition, newbie takes first kill, he winks at me, which looks odd on a wolf, so without further ado. He looks at me expectantly. I nod my big head and turn to my prey, Hunting mode turns on, as my wolf takes over. I stalk towards the heard, not making a sound. As I approach the closest deer, I lean down, ready to pounce. It didn't even see me coming. I jump on its back, digging my claws into its back as I take a giant chunk of flesh from its neck. I see out of the corner of my eye as the rest of the - my - pack attack the rest of the heard as they start to run away, but I am completely focused on my meal. The deer tries to buck me off its back but with the amount of blood loss it's suffered, the body starts to shut down, until it collapse on the ground; dead. Poor thing didn't have a chance. I think as I sink my teeth into its meaty flesh. An odd feeling passes through me amd I realize; I finially feel like I belong.

"Did you enjoy tonight?" Blake asks me as we walk back to the house, hand in hand.

"It was quite the experience. But yes, I did." I say, swinging our hands back and forth like an elementary student.

"Well good. You are officially part of and almost Luna of Full moon pack." Blake beams down at me as if I just accomplished something beautiful.

"Oh ya, Ive been meaning to ask you, why does the pack refere to me as Luna and you as alpha if we havent marked each other and officially become the alpha and Luna?" I ask, honestly curious.

"Oh that? Because once I find my mate I become alpha in training so they just call me alpha anyways. The coronation ceremony will take part when my parents get back from detroit next week." Blake explains.

"So soon? I dont know if I'm ready to become luna!" I exclaim. I just barely became pack, now im becoming luna in less then 4 days.

"Dont worry so much Madi. You were born to be luna. Natural instinct will kick in as soon as the corinatuon is over."

"I just want to be a good luna, thats all." I sigh. This has been a long but action packed couple of months. We step inside the house and go up the stairs. Blake takes off his shirt, shoes and pants and steps into bed. I change into blue pajama shorts and a sports bra and climb into bed as well. I look at the clock. 11:24pm. Ive still got a couple hours till the meeting so I snuggle into blake and close my eyes.
