Rin pov

I slowly take apart the charms as I talk with Shura. 

"So if you just corporate with us you don't have to get hurt. I will also try to make you as comfortable as possible. Everyone here wants to return you to Lucifer unharmed," Shura explains. 

"ok," I reply. Shura smiles and she leaves. Another exorcist walks up and gives me a plate of food.

That one leaves and another exorcist waltz in as I am eating.

 "So this is Satan's brat. I wonder why Lucifer likes him so much," The exorcist states. 

"He is pretty cute and has a nice body. But there has to be more than that. Lucifer is a crafty bitch he wouldn't have a lap dog that couldn't do any tricks," The exorcist adds. I growl at him I am not a pet. 

"Lewin, leave Rin alone," Shura growls. 

"What I just wanted to see him what's so wrong with that?" Lewin asks.

"We don't want to return him to Lucifer with any mental scars now leave him alone before your face hangs his nightmares." 

"He has been around Lucifer I am not going to scare him," Lewin replies. 

"Lucifer keeps all of his bases clean you haven't taken a shower in a week and a half if your face doesn't do it your musk will."

I watch amusedly from the safety of my cage. The man does smell bad but not as bad as Astaorth has. 

"It's alright Shura I have seen and smelt worse," I reply. 

"And he has a nice voice," Lewin adds. 

"Stop Lewin he is underaged besides you sound like a creep." 

"I simply want to see what the appeal is," Lewin replies.

"Lucifer saved me ten years ago from one of your research facilities he doesn't want me hurt," I reply. 

"Yes, but why?"

"Because he just does," I reply.

 "Are there no other reasons? What purpose do you serve him? Lucifer doesn't keep around useless beings. Everything has a purpose to him. So what's your purpose?" 

I haven't thought about that. "that's not for you to know," I reply. 

Surely I have some purpose for him.

"that's your only purpose? Lucifer cares so deeply about a pet?" Lewin asks. 

"I can think of a few other reasons but they aren't any of your business," I growl at him and Shura grabs Lewin by his collar and drags him out of the room. 

He had no business asking me about my purpose with Lucifer. Two exorcists walk in and they have swords with them they stand outside of my cage. They smell familiar. Lucifer. They work for the Illuminati. Lucifer already found his way here. I return the plate to the exorcist but I keep the fork. 

An angry exorcist walks in. 

"give us the fork," he growls. 

"no," I reply. He opens the cage and rips me out of it.

Idiot.

I put my fangs around his neck. I tear out his throat. I let the body drop to the floor and I toss his throat down to him. "Consider it a trade. I gave you your throat back and I get to keep the fork," I reply.

The guards stay quiet. "What do you guys think I should do? Lucifer is here now. Should I get back in the cage or go looking for him?"

"Lucifer knows you are in this room and if you were to leave you could get lost. But you don't have to get back in the cage," One of the guards replied. 

"Ok third option I will stay here," I reply.  

The building continues to shake and from down the hall, I can hear Lucifer approaching. I giggle. "He is going to be difficult to calm."

A red light begins to blare all around us and I already feel my heart begin to leap in my chest. As the door slams open I run to him. I hug him and he starts coughing blood. I nuzzle into him and I purr. It is my Lucifer. The one I love the one who saved me. He hugs me tightly.

Iblis walks in behind Lucifer. 

"Is he ok?" She asks. 

"I'm fine," I say as I rest my head on Lucifer. I couldn't be better.

Then in a flash, we are back on the ship. More importantly in Lucifer's room. 

"You should get some rest." He says walking toward the door. 

I grab at his wrist, pulling his back.

"You need rest too, you shouldn't overwork yourself."

He pulls me towards him, weaving his finger through my hair. "I will be fine. So will you if you obey."

Ugh, I hate when he does this. 

I push him away and saunter back over to the bed. As I turn to slip under the cover he has already left the room.
