Rin pov 

I wake up next to Lucifer and I smile. he smiles back. 

"Good morning Rin," Lucifer says brushing my hair out of my face. 

"Morning," I reply happily. 

"Go get ready I will be waiting out here for you," Lucifer replies. I nod I get out of bed and I go to the bathroom. I get on the step stool and I brush my teeth and my hair. It's been about a week with Lucifer and he has been really nice and so has Egyn. I haven't seen Iblis much and I haven't seen Asataroth at all. 

I get a pair of clothes from the closet attached to the bathroom. I get dressed and I walk back outside. I bathe every other day and I take a bath once a week. I brush my hair and then my tail. Then I walk outside. Lucifer looks at me and smiles as he puts his cape on. I hug his leg and Lucifer chuckles and adjusts his cape then he picks me up. We walk out of the room and Lucifer heads to his office. he sits down at his desk and begins working on paperwork. I get off of him and I go to study.

Learning is easy. I am currently learning English. It's simple once you learn the basics. I have already learned Latin, and English is close. So it's easy to learn. Once I have done three lessons I go back to Lucifer and I cuddle with him as he finishes his work. He stops to have breakfast with me and he goes back to doing work. Once Lucifer is done he picks me up and he walks around the ship. Getting reports and seeing how his projects are progressing.

I don't like to talk to others that much. Just Lucifer and Egyn and Astroth. I don't really trust others yet. Lucifer sets me down and he talks with his guards for a bit. I get bored and I decide to play hide and seek. "Hide and seek," I shout running off. Lucifer and I play hide and seek but the difference is when I want to play I say hide and seek and he waits for third seconds as I find a place to hide.

It's fun. I have found many good hiding spots and after thirty minutes if he can't find me I win.

Lucifer pov

"Well, are you going to go after him?" Homare asks. 

"No, I have to wait for a few seconds for him. This gives Rin a way to find his way around the ship and it lets me know when he does hide. If there is ever an attack I will know where he is." 

"Well if you find him isn't that a bad hiding spot?"

"He has gotten better at hiding and keeping quiet, he almost won once."

Then I begin to search for Rin. Egyn walks up to me. 

"Are you looking for Rin again?"

"He has found a way to cover his scent. I can't seem to track him."

"Well, when I saw him he was running to the northern sector," Egyn taps at the side of his onesie. 

"If he gets help from Iblis then he won't win," I add as I begin to the northern sector. 

"But you just asked for my help. You cheated so why can't he?" Egyn asks. 

"Anyone who would attack us won't follow the rules, and if someone else knows where Rin is they could torture the information out of them or draw it out by other means and find him," I reply. Egyn nods and went back to what he was doing before. 

Homare follows after me. I listen to any moves in the slightest any breaths and heartbeats as I walk down the halls. I hear nothing until I arrive in the third hallway. I can tell Rin is here. Iblis turns the corner and he is shocked by my appearance. 

"Hello Lucifer," She greets. 

"Did you help Rin hide?"

She stares at me blankly. "What?" 

"So that's a no. At least I can tell Rin is in this hallway," I add. "

"So why is he hiding from you?" 

"I am training Rin to hide just in case there is an attack."

"The young prince has father's powers. He can handle a fight especially as he gets older as trains."

"I have no doubt Rin will be able to protect himself I just don't want him to get wrapped up in a fight he didn't start again," I reply.

"Then I will help you look." 

"No, this is a game to him. If you made this same real it would scare him and he wouldn't want to play. He is young and not as durable as us when we were younger." 

"Fine be boring." 

Iblis goes back to what she was doing. Now back to Rin. I go through the hallway trying to locate Rin. I can seem to pinpoint where he is.

"Rin? Where are you?" I coo. Rin almost always giggles or gets excited when I call for him. But no reaction. Did he fall asleep? Homare checks her watch. "it's been thirty minutes," She says. 

"He won this time. I wonder where he is," I add. Rin giggles and I hear from the ceiling. He lifts one of the tiles up and waves at me. 

"How did you get up there?" 

"The broom closet," Rin replies. 

"Well get out of there before you get yourself hurt," I sigh with a smile. He is getting better at this. He was right over us and didn't laugh or giggle. 

Rin opens up the door, he is covered in dust. I pick him and I get the dust off him. "

"So what does bitch mean?" Rin asks. 

Whoever taught Rin that word will regret it.

"it was what people issued to call female dogs but it turned into a slang word often directed at a female to diminish them or offend them," Homare replies.

"When did you hear such a thing?"

"I heard one of the doctors using it, he was talking about Homare," Rin replies in his same naive tone.
