The next days I got some texts from him again saying he would come for me and threatening me so Alex convinced me to quit my job. He said he didn't need help paying for groceries and that he didn't want me to pay him the rent.

I would also call uncle Rob every day. He always said he was fine. He was actually on a road trip, he said he had some leads for my father. Uncle Rob loved road trips and he was safer on the road because Colton, my brother, couldn't find him.

He couldn't hurt Sarah of course because Caleb kept her safe all day and he wouldn't let him kill her even if he wanted to. It make me shiver though that Caleb knew where Colton was and couldn't tell us.

So that only left Alexander.

I was praying he hadn't found out about him, but if he was really watching me he would know. Maybe he knew and didn't tell me. Maybe it was his secret weapon.

But Alex would be okay, right?

I heard the jingling of his keys as he unlocked the door and let out a sigh of relief in the darkness. The only thing that lit up the house was the TV and the moonlight.

Another day that he got home okay. Another day that passed without any attack from Colton.

He opened the door and I quickly got up to hug him.

"I see my little angel waited for me again" He smiled softly and kissed my forehead before closing the door and turning to me again to wrap his hands around my waist. "You should sleep more princess. Your brain can't function and you'll fall behind on your classes"

I still kept going to college, but Alex would drive me there and wait until I was inside and he would be here to pick me up by the time I was finished. He wanted to be sure nothing would happen to me.

"But I want to be sure you come home safe" I looked up at him.

"You don't know how emotional and happy it makes me that you care about me that much" He whispered staring at me.

"Of course I care about you that much silly" I giggle and patted his chest. I got on my tip toes and wrapped my arms around his neck giving him a happy grin. He just kept staring at my face like he was studying every part of it, but it didn't make me uncomfortable.

"I-" he stopped himself and just took a deep breath making me wonder what he wanted to say. I gave him a questioning look titling my head to the side and frowning. "God, you're making it harder with your cuteness" He whispered shutting his eyes.

"What?"

"Nothing. Let's get you to bed princess okay?" He asked going back to normal again. He took my hand and started walking towards my room.

"Alex?" I called out. He stopped turning to face me and hummed. "Can I sleep with you? In your bed I mean" I said shyly shifting from one foot to another and playing with the ends of my hair.

"Of course baby" He said giving me a grin and going towards his room.

As soon as our backs hit the mattress he wrapped his warm arms around me making me feel as safe as ever and cuddled me.

That was my happy place.

"Sarah I'm scared" I told her through my new phone. Alexander wanted to get me a new one and keep the old one so he can keep track of my brother. "And I miss you"

"I miss you too, but we both can't go out right now. Caleb is trying to convince your brother to move on and leave this town"

I didn't understand why Caleb couldn't just tell us. He knew his best friend was a monster.

"Sarah, I'm scared. I'm scared he could hurt Alex. Uncle Rob is safe and he can't hurt you but if he knows-"

"He doesn't just don't think about it. I'm a hundred percent sure Alexander knows how to fend for himself" She said softly.

"He's crazy Sarah. I don't know what to do. I feel trapped, I can't hide and run forever"

"Ari I know, but you're a fighter, you're the strongest person I know, you've been through hell and back for this stupid son of a bitch -"

"You won't let him ruin your life again. The life that you struggled to fix" She said sternly.

"You're right I can't do that. I can't let him ruin me this time" I tried to convince myself.

"That's my girl" She laughed.

"So how's it going with Jason?" I smirked.

"We're friends"

"Yeah right. Sarah your chemistry is unbelievable you can't just say you're friends" I whined.

I heard Alex unlocking the door and immediately looked at the door waiting for him.

"Alex is back so I have to go, talk to you later bye" I said quickly standing up from the couch and hanging up. "Alex!" I exclaimed and tackled him. He was startled so we ended up on the floor with me on top of him.

"Missed me princess?" He gave me a smirk.

"Yes, so much!" I grinned and gave him a peck on the cheek.

I was slowly getting used to kissing him, but I was still shy sometimes.

"I missed you more" He murmured nuzzling my neck before giving me a kiss there. To my surprise he changed our positions and got on top of me careful not to hurt my back.

"W-what are you doing?"

Ah yes shy old me.

"I missed kissing you like this" He whispered and smashed his lips on mine. After I got over the shock I dug my fingers into his soft fluffy hair.

One simple kiss had turned into a make out session and he was currently kissing my neck like a hungry man. He kept licking, biting and sucking on it making a few moans escape me, I was sure I was blushing like crazy.

The thing that made me really embarrassed and scared though wasn't his kisses. It was the hardness between his legs that was slightly pressed against me. Not to mention there was a weird, tingling feeling between my own legs.

He kept going lower and lower till he reached my chest and he pulled my shirt down to expose more skin for him to kiss.

"Baby please stop me" He groaned but kept going giving me wet kisses on my chest just above my beasts. "I don't think I can-stop" he whispered in between kisses not lifting his lips of my skin. "Ask me to-stop" he said weakly with a small voice.

All of a sudden he pushed his hips hard against mine and groaned. I screeched and held his biceps trying to push him.

"Alex, you're right we should stop" I managed to say. He looked up at me with his blue eyes.

His eyes were so beautiful, I loved to stare at them. His fluffy midnight black hair was disheveled since my fingers were brushing through it or slightly pulling it before we stopped. It fell on his eyes making him look even more handsome and sexy than he already was.

I think he is the epitome of sexiness.

"I'm sorry" He said with a sexy hoarse voice.

"Don't ask sorry, you didn't do anything wrong" I assured him tracing his jaw with my thumb.

"I need to go and take a shower" He said standing up quickly and running to the bathroom.

I was in college heading out where Alexander was probably waiting for me to take me home, but as soon as I got out and looked around searching for him he was nowhere to be seen.

I started panicking immediately. I had told him what time I would be finished, he said there was no problem and he would be there waiting for me. Plus it was quite isolated here and I was scared.

Where was he now? If Colton has him I will never forgive myself-

All of a sudden I heard a ring and jumped in surprise before I realized it was a notification on my phone. I quickly unlocked the screen with my hands shaking and saw a text from Alex. When I saw it I instantly relaxed letting out a sigh of relief that he was okay.

I noticed the text was really brief and his texts usually weren't so cold and brief.

Before I could turn around to head inside I felt strong arms wrap around me almost knocking me out of breath. I felt a cloth covering my nose and mouth and panicked.

"Ugh!" I heard him shout as he fell to the ground the cloth still on me. I took it and tried to run but someone caught my leg making me fall on the ground.

I turned around to see the man still on the ground clutching his pants and another man above me.

"Where do you think you're going girly" He gave me a sinister smirk. He gripped my arm almost breaking it and pulled me up. Not wasting a second I shoved my elbow into his face.

Well rip his eye.

He screamed and put his palm on his eye. I took the opportunity and shoved the cloth I was holding onto his face. After a few seconds he breathed it and slowly lost consciousness.

The man who I had previously hit in the balls was up though and he looked angry. He ran towards me trying to tackle me but I turned to the side and he fell on his face.

Ouch.

"You had your fun, now the game is over" I heard a man say. I turned around to find a group of man surrounding me.

Oh well I'm dead.

I tried to run but they caught me again making me fall. I quickly took out my phone and typed a message without them noticing.
