"the plans going well, they know we're here and after the blue nusince, and they don't know a that we have the chaos emeralds" Doom chuckled as he stared at me

"indeed" i hummed, but something was off here "Father i-' he cut me off

"thought you would notice" He grinned at me

"this wouldn't another of your deals would it" i questioned as i eyed our company, he looked a lot like Shadow...

"afraid so, your leader seems to be very fond of them" A female voice rung from behind him

"indeed, with those deals he's made the past few thousand years" the male hummed, i turned to my father and stared at him, this plans going to backfire

"why does this even matter? we were already defeated by Shadow and that blue nuance" i muttered

"you dare question me?" Doom growled

"i thought that was my job Father?" i retorted

he just growled

"your dismissed" He stated, i only huffed and walked away, he's going to regret this deal in the end

we were currently eating dinner, Fleetway was no longer in control and it was quite as always, but something unsettled me...

"Sonic?" i asked him

"hmm?" he replied with his mouth full

"what exactly happened when the cloud or fog flooded Angle Island?" i questioned, he stopped eating and looked at me

"it's their oxygen, it's different from ours" Sonic replied

"what do you mean?" i blinked

"it paralyses whoever breaths it" Shadow answered

"and why didn't it paralyses you?" i asked him

"because part of my DNA is theirs, so their oxygen doesn't affect  me" Shadow explained

"oh" i blinked

there was suddenly a knock at the front door, who would here at this time?

"i'll get it" I stated as i stood and went to answer the door, i opened it and i was confused, there was a green hedgehog and a magenta hedgehog their waiting"

"sorry to disturb you" The magenta one smiled nervously

"oh...it's fine, is there anything i can help you with?" i asked 

"well, we were looking for someone and we were wondering if you know or seen them by chance" the green stated

"there is a possibility, but who are you looking for?" i was now confused, have they ben going door by door?

"we were looking for our cousin, he's blue, has green eyes and his name is Maurice" the magenta one frowned, i blinked...wait...Sonic's name is Maurice...right?

"oh uhh, i'll be right back" i said as i left to get Shadow, when i returned with Shadow they were both still there 

"who the hell are you two?" Shadow growled

"rude much?" the girl scoffed

"sorry about her, uhh this is my sister Sonia and i'm Manic, so uhh yeah" the green one smiled nervously

"why exactly are you looking for your cousin?" I questioned, they both frowned

"well he's been missing for about 13 years, he didn't exactly know us, but we were meant to meet him in Stony Fields, but when we got there it was a nightmare" Sonia frowned, Sonic said no one knew about Stony Fields but us...maybe they were actually serious... 

i looked at Shadow and he sighed

"come in, i'm sure your both hungry" he said, they both looked at each other

"are you sure? we wouldn't want to impose" Sonia stated

"no trouble at all" i assured her 

"well i am hungry" Manic shrugged

"well come on in" i smiled as me and Shadow moved and let them in

"whats taking you guys so long?" we all heard Sonic shout

"we're coming now" i chuckled softly, he really did act childish when he wanted to be
