As with most TV shows, Marie's World has quite a few beloved, familiar faces that have been a part of Marie's journey for quite a while. The actors that play her parents, for example, have reprised their roles for 19 years in a row, not just because of the handsome sum of money they receive, but also because they have developed a genuine love for Marie. Others in her life have also stayed for this reason and have become incredibly important individuals in her life.

This, of course, is our heroine. From what is known about her birth family, Marie's mother was a single teen who was definitely not prepared for motherhood. She knew she wanted to put her child up for adoption, and when she saw the lucrative offer from Worldwide Studio, she took it immediately. Marie was given the absolute best childhood anyone could ask for; she got every opportunity, and well, the world literally revolved around her. She's pretty, talented, smart, and is loved by everyone in her life (or at least she thinks so). Marie is super polite and has the best manners, and she genuinely is a real-life Disney Princess. At the same time, she does tend to be a bit ... unaware of the feelings and emotions of others. But hey, she's been allowed to only think about herself for 19 years, so can you really blame her?

April Fools has known Marie since primary school, he's really been with her since the beginning. They've had the perfect friends-to-lovers relationship, starting to date in the first year of secondary school. April Fools is a nerdy, golden retriever-type of guy, and he's been absolutely head over heels for Marie since he was 15. While he is a pretty chill person, he's very protective of Marie, maybe even a bit too protective. April Fools is from an extremely rich family with properties all around the globe, and he often goes on long trips for months at a time with them.

The actor who's been playing April Fools, now that's a different story. He's a very well-known child actor and now a young adult actor, and Marie's World has been a big help in his success. Like many of the actors on this show, he was only brought on as an extra during Marie's school days, and it was only after Marie took a liking to him that the producers signed him for a 3-year contract. After 3 years, they convinced him to renew because, by this point, he was a crucial role in Marie's life. He does take a lot of "trips" off the show to film dramas and movies in the real world because acting is his true passion, and even though he makes more than enough money doing Marie's World, he still wants to do other projects. He doesn't have a lot or really any guilt about the show or what they're doing to Marie, and while he does definitely care about her to an extent, he does view this as a job and that's it.

Although not actually her sister, Artificial Affection is one of the people closest to Marie Su. About 5 years older than Marie, Artificial Affection is the daughter of one of Marie's parent's friends, which is how they came to know each other. Artificial Affection is a classy, cool, and collected person, and Marie has always looked up to her as a role model. Artificial Affection is engaged and is having her wedding this summer, and Marie is her maid of honor, so she's doing a lot to help out and plan the wedding. Also, Artificial Affection has just graduated from university with a degree in cosmetology and fashion, and she's absolutely amazing at makeup and hair.

The actress who plays Artificial Affection has been a part of the show since she was 17, so she's had a lot of time to develop a relationship with Marie. She was fairly unknown and struggling to support her family and make ends meet, which is why Marie's World was such a great opportunity for her. The money she makes from the show was enough to help her family out of the situation they were in and also provide them with a comfortable life, which is one of the reasons she turns a blind eye to everything wrong with the show. She definitely doesn't agree with what's happening, but she's too scared of losing her livelihood and ruining her reputation to do anything about it. Also, through the show, she was able to actually attend and graduate from university, so that part about her character is actually true.

False Hope is literally just an extra. He's a regular at the coffee shop where Marie works, and he also attends the same classes as Marie at Gwabaek University.

The actor behind False Hope is about the same age as Marie, and he's been watching her since before he could talk. Every day after school, he would rush home to make sure he could do his homework at the same time Marie was doing hers. This was the level of obsession that he had with her. What he didn't realize, however, is that this was real and not just another TV show. So when he got older and fully understood what was happening, he was disgusted and wanted to do all in his power to help Marie out of this situation. He did a lot of protesting and joined different groups fighting to free Marie, but after realizing that it was doing nothing, he decided to take a different approach. He applied to be an extra on the show, and risking his safety by breaking the contract, is doing all in his power to free Marie Su.

Not A Friend is one of the newest people in Marie's life. She is a life-of-the-party, loud, funny kind of person. Not A Friend transferred to Marie's school in their last year of secondary school from a foreign country, and it didn't take long at all for the girls to become super close. They've done everything together for the past year, and as summer approaches, it doesn't look like that is going to change anytime soon. Not A Friend aspires to be a singer, so the girls are working on this together over the summer to help Not A Friend go viral online.

The actress behind Not A Friend is not really an actress at all; she's an idol. She was on a survival show and debuted as the maknae of the group. After two years, the group disbanded, and she went back to her original company to debut as a soloist. Before that happened, however, her company and Worldwide Studios made a deal for her to play on the show for a few years to boost both her and Marie's popularity, particularly in the Kpop industry. She kinda just acts normally to the best of her ability, and she really does consider Marie to be one of her closest friends.

Who's your favorite? I only added 4 slots because I don't want to overwhelm myself again (r.i.p walk the plank), and I'm starting this literally right before finals season, so I'm not expecting too too many people to have the time to apply. If you didn't notice already, all of the slots have jobs/roles inside of Marie's World and in the real world (in parenthesis).
