Rose P.O.V

"Do you think we did a good job by letting her stay here?" I asked Aaron.

We were sitting at the dining table that was filled with papers. We were working on trying to find Robert. If we find him we find Wyatt and Selene.

"Rose don't doubt yourself. You never know what Robert would have do if Lea would have stayed home." He took my hand giving it a little squeeze.

"Still she seem more distant towards us and with what happen today in school." Aaron chuckle shaking his head.

"She was kidnapped twice and have seen horrible things. I think it's normal for her to act this way."

Still she different. Her parents call me today saying that she haven't heard from her in a long time. Normally she would call once a week, even twice, but it's been two weeks since she last call them or when to their house.

I'm just really concern about her.

"But the way she act. It's like she act like the whole world is evil. She act like."

"Like Wyatt and his dad?"

I frown my brows.

I never thought about that.

"Yeah."

Aaron move his chair closer to me before taking both my hands in his. So they brainwashed her into thinking that everyone is bad. No Wyatt would have never wanted that.

Lea was to special and to innocent to him to change her. He kept her because he wanted to protect her not change her, but maybe he did.

Maybe he didn't notice that he was changing Lea.

It was never his intention for him to change her.

"Lea have spent a lot of time with them and she have seen how this world really is, just like you and I. Everyone tell their kids that the world is a peaceful thing where the people are good, but you and I know that that isn't true. The world is filled with people with power, corrupted with people who think that evil is the better than good and Lea saw that too. It's up to us to also show her the little good that is in this world."

He kiss my hand giving me a small smile.

My dad always said to me that we have to search for the little good in the world instead of looking at the bad right in front of us.

"I don't know if I can do that." I whisper.

After my dad got killed I began to think that this world was cruel and that there wasn't any good left in it. I was so obsessed with finding my dad's killer that I didn't think about other stuff.

Aaron and my mom showed me that there are more important stuff in the world than catching my dad's killer, so I let it go for a while. When I found out that Robert was the killer and I was standing right in front of him all those dark thoughts about the world came back.

Slowly and little by little those thoughts have been coming back and now I don't know if I can find the little things in life that are good and makes me happy.

"Yes you can. You know what me helps if I don't know what do to do with all the dark thoughts?"

I shook my head slowly.

"I make a list in my head about all the good things I have seen in our job. Like us finding back that little girl that when missing for a year. Remember how her family was happy when they saw her? They were crying from happiness and didn't let that little girl go for hours. Just think about those things and you will find something worth fighting for." I let out a chuckle looking down at our hands.

"Rose you can't see the world just in black and white."

I could feel him stand up before kissing my forehead.

"Come here." He pull me up from the chair and pulled me in a hug.

My head was lying against his shoulder while he slowly rocked us back and forth. I could feel the strength in his arms as he wrapped them around me, to trap me in his never ending warmth.

As he embraces me, I can feel the life in him, the blood pumping in his veins, and the warm breath coming off his lips. A smile came on my face and a peaceful feeling came to my stomach.

I never thought would be doing this with Aaron. Yes we have hugged before, but not like this. Maybe this is what Lea is missing and why she is so cracking at people.

She misses Wyatt.

If this is what they felt every time they hugged then she is missing it.

"Aaron?" I whisper against his shoulder.

"Mmm."

I bite my lip pulling away.

"We need to find Lea in order to help her."

A warm smile came on his face before brushing some hair out my face. "We are going to find them Rose. It's just a matter of time before we do. Robert may be smart, but I have learn that every mastermind have to slip sometime and when he does we will be there to catch him."

I hope he's right.

"But what if he already have kill them? You have seen how he is and I don't think that he wouldn't kill his own kids."

Aaron sigh running a hand through his hair.

"I know Rose, but I don't think he will kill them now, not after all the trouble he's been through just to get them. No this part of his plan. A plan that is bigger than killing some teens once a year."

He's right this isn't the end.

It's the beginning of something bigger and we are all going to play a part of it.

A lot of blood is going to spill and I don't know if this town can handle it.
